Description
以下、本発明の実施の形態1について、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。以下の説明においては、基地局装置および移動局装置がOFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)方式による通信を行うものとし、移動局装置から基地局装置へ向かう上り回線のパイロットシンボルの伝送について説明する。
パイロットシンボルを用いて行うチャネル推定の精度がビット誤り率に与える影響は変調方式によって異なる。すなわち、変調レベルが大きい変調方式ほど高いチャネル推定精度が要求される。特に、16QAMや64QAMなどのQAM変調では、復調の際に位相の判定だけでなく振幅の判定も必要となるため、高いチャネル推定精度が必要とされる。また、高いチャネル推定精度を達成するには、フレーム内に占めるパイロットシンボルの割合(すなわち、パイロットシンボルの密度)を大きくする必要がある。
選択方法1の場合、パイロットパタン選択部270の構成は図11に示すようになる。図11に示すパイロットパタン選択部270は、実施の形態1(図3)の構成にさらにオフセット付加部271を備えて構成される。
選択方法2の場合、パイロットパタン選択部270の構成は図12に示すようになる。図12に示すパイロットパタン選択部270は、実施の形態1(図3)の構成にさらに挿入パイロット決定部273を備えて構成される。
実施の形態1および2では、移動局装置から基地局装置へ向かう上り回線のパイロットシンボルの伝送について説明したが、本実施の形態では、基地局装置から移動局装置へ向かう下り回線のパイロットシンボルの伝送について説明する。さらに、本実施の形態では、基地局装置および移動局装置が実施の形態1および2同様、OFDM方式により通信を行うが、さらにタイムスロット毎の伝送単位で通信を行うものとする。
Claims (5)
- パイロット信号を受信する受信装置であって、
周波数方向若しくは時間方向のパイロット配置密度が互いに異なるパイロットパタンのパイロット信号をそれぞれ含む複数のタイムスロットの配置に関する情報を、複数の端末に対しブロードキャスト送信された信号から抽出する抽出手段と、
前記複数のタイムスロットの配置に関する情報に従って、周波数方向若しくは時間方向のパイロット配置密度が互いに異なる前記パイロットパタンのパイロット信号をそれぞれのタイムスロットで受信する受信手段と、
を有する受信装置。 - 前記受信手段は、前記複数のタイムスロットの配置に関する情報に従って、周波数方向若しくは時間方向のパイロット配置密度が互いに異なる前記パイロットパタンのパイロット信号をタイムスロット毎に受信する処理を繰り返す、
請求項1記載の受信装置。 - 前記抽出手段は、さらに、前記複数のタイムスロットの配置に関する情報に従って、周波数方向若しくは時間方向のパイロット配置密度が互いに異なる前記パイロットパタンのパイロット信号と多重されたユーザデータを抽出する、
請求項1記載の受信装置。 - パイロット信号を受信する受信方法であって、
周波数方向若しくは時間方向のパイロット配置密度が互いに異なるパイロットパタンのパイロット信号をそれぞれ含む複数のタイムスロットの配置に関する情報を、複数の端末に対しブロードキャスト送信された信号から抽出し、
前記複数のタイムスロットの配置に関する情報に従って、周波数方向若しくは時間方向のパイロット配置密度が互いに異なる前記パイロットパタンのパイロット信号をそれぞれのタイムスロットで受信する、
受信方法。 - パイロット信号の受信を制御する集積回路であって、
周波数方向若しくは時間方向のパイロット配置密度が互いに異なるパイロットパタンのパイロット信号をそれぞれ含む複数のタイムスロットの配置に関する情報を、複数の端末に対しブロードキャスト送信された信号から抽出する処理を制御し、前記複数のタイムスロットの配置に関する情報に従って、周波数方向若しくは時間方向のパイロット配置密度が互いに異なる前記パイロットパタンのパイロット信号をそれぞれのタイムスロットで受信する処理を制御する制御手段、
を有する集積回路。
