Abstract
Un metodo y aparato para calculo de canal en un sistema que emplea diferentes protocolos de transmision como protocolos de difusion/multidifusion y unidifusion; el numero de tonos piloto utilizados para transmision de difusion es mayor que el numero de tonos piloto utilizados para una transmision de unidifusion; el calculo de canal se puede degradar significativamente cuando un simbolo proveniente de una ranura de transmision de difusion es adyacente a un simbolo proveniente de una ranura de transmision de unidifusion, debido a que los pilotos de las ranuras adyacentes se utilizan para el calculo de canal; por lo tanto, se determina si una primera ranura de tiempo de un protocolo de transmision (ranura de multidifusion) esta adyacente a una segunda ranura de tiempo de otro protocolo de transmision (ranura de unidifusion), y si un primer simbolo de la ranura de unidifusion; La potencia piloto y/o el numero de sub-portadoras piloto se incrementa para el simbolo de borde de la ranura de multidifusion para propositos de calculo de canal utilizando el simbolo de borde.
