Description
Claims (3)
- 半導体光素子を搭載するパッケージとスリーブ組立体とを含む光サブアセンブリにおいて、
前記スリーブ組立体は、スリーブと、当該スリーブの一端を保持する金属製ブッシュと、当該スリーブの前記一端に保持されたスタブと、当該スリーブの他端および当該ブッシュの一端を保護する樹脂製のスリーブカバーとを含み、
前記スリーブカバーの外周面および前記ブッシュの外周面には、それぞれ個別のフランジが設けられており、これら個別のフランジが組み合って一つのフランジを構成しており、
前記ブッシュは、互いに異なる内径を有する第1の部位と第2の部位を有し、
前記スリーブは、前記スリーブを該ブッシュの第1の部位に圧入することにより該ブッシュに取り付けられており、
前記スリーブが該ブッシュの第1の部位に圧入される前において、該ブッシュの第1の部位の内径は、前記スリーブの外径よりも小さく、
該ブッシュの第2の部位の内径は、前記スリーブの外径よりも大きい、ことを特徴とする光サブアセンブリ。 - 前記スリーブカバーは、互いに異なる内径を有する第1の部位と第2の部位とを有し、
前記ブッシュは、前記ブッシュの第2の部位を前記スリーブカバーの第1の部位に圧入することにより前記スリーブカバーに取り付けられており、
前記ブッシュが前記スリーブカバーに取り付けられる前において、該スリーブカバーの第1の部位の内径は、前記ブッシュの第2の部位の外径よりも小さい、
請求項1に記載の光サブアセンブリ。 - 前記ブッシュは、前記ブッシュの第1の部位の外周面であって前記ブッシュの第2の部位との境界に第1のフランジを有し、
前記スリーブカバーの第1の部位が第2のフランジを構成し、
該第1のフランジおよび該第2のフランジが組み合って前記一つのフランジを構成している、
請求項2に記載の光サブアセンブリ。
