Description
ねじれ要素を介して駆動軸側に接続され排気の一部を吸気系に導入する排気ガス再循環装置を有する複数気筒の内燃機関を備える内燃機関装置であって、
前記内燃機関の出力軸の回転位置を検出する回転位置検出手段と、
前記検出された回転位置に基づいて所定回転角毎の前記出力軸の回転変動を演算する回転変動演算手段と、
前記排気ガス再循環装置により排気を吸気系に導入していないときには前記演算された回転変動の第1の所定角度の差分である第1角度差分に基づいて前記内燃機関のいずれかの気筒が失火しているか否かを判定し、前記排気ガス再循環装置により排気を吸気系に導入していないときには前記第1角度差分と前記演算された回転変動の前記第1の所定角度より小さい第2の所定角度の差分である第2角度差分とに基づいて前記内燃機関のいずれかの気筒が失火しているか否かを判定する失火判定手段と、
を備えることを要旨とする。
ねじれ要素を介して駆動軸側に接続され排気の一部を吸気系に導入する排気ガス再循環装置を有する複数気筒の内燃機関を備える内燃機関装置の前記内燃機関の失火を判定する内燃機関の失火判定方法であって、
(a)前記内燃機関の出力軸の回転位置に基づいて所定回転角毎の前記出力軸の回転変動を演算し、
(b)前記排気ガス再循環装置により排気を吸気系に導入していないときには前記演算された回転変動の第1の所定角度の差分である第1角度差分に基づいて前記内燃機関のいずれかの気筒が失火しているか否かを判定し、前記排気ガス再循環装置により排気を吸気系に導入していないときには前記第1角度差分と前記演算された回転変動の前記第1の所定角度より小さい第2の所定角度の差分である第2角度差分とに基づいて前記内燃機関のいずれかの気筒が失火しているか否かを判定する、
ことを特徴とする。
はこうした実施例に何等限定されるものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲内において、種々なる形態で実施し得ることは勿論である。

Claims (9)
- ねじれ要素を介して駆動軸側に接続され排気の一部を吸気系に導入する排気ガス再循環装置を有する複数気筒の内燃機関を備える内燃機関装置であって、
前記内燃機関の出力軸の回転位置を検出する回転位置検出手段と、
前記検出された回転位置に基づいて所定回転角毎の前記出力軸の回転数または前記所定回転角毎の該所定回転角を前記出力軸が回転するのに要する時間としての回転変動を演算する回転変動演算手段と、
前記排気ガス再循環装置により排気を吸気系に導入していないときには前記演算された回転変動の第1の所定角度の差分である第1角度差分に基づいて前記内燃機関のいずれかの気筒が失火しているか否かを判定し、前記排気ガス再循環装置により排気を吸気系に導入していないときには前記第1角度差分と前記演算された回転変動の前記第1の所定角度より小さい第2の所定角度の差分である第2角度差分とに基づいて前記内燃機関のいずれかの気筒が失火しているか否かを判定する失火判定手段と、
を備える内燃機関装置。 - 請求項1記載の内燃機関装置であって、
前記第1の所定角度は、360度であり、
前記第2の所定角度は、720度を前記内燃機関の気筒数で除して整数倍した角度である、
内燃機関装置。 - 前記第2の所定角度は、720度を前記内燃機関の気筒数で除して整数倍した角度のうち360度に最も近い角度である請求項2記載の内燃機関装置。
- 前記失火判定手段は、前記排気ガス再循環装置により排気を吸気系に導入していないときには失火対象とされる気筒である失火対象気筒の回転変動に対する前記失火対象気筒より360度前に燃焼する気筒,前記失火対象気筒の直前に燃焼する気筒,前記失火対象気筒の直後に燃焼する気筒のそれぞれの回転変動の比に基づいて前記失火対象気筒が失火しているか否かを判定し、前記排気ガス再循環装置により排気を吸気系に導入しているときには前記失火対象気筒の回転変動に対する前記失火対象気筒より360度前に燃焼する気筒,前記失火対象気筒の直前に連続して燃焼する二つの気筒,前記失火対象気筒の直後に連続して燃焼する二つの気筒のそれぞれの回転変動の比に基づいて前記失火対象気筒が失火しているか否かを判定する手段である請求項1ないし3いずれか記載の内燃機関装置。
- 前記回転変動演算手段は、前記回転変動として前記出力軸が前記所定回転角だけ回転する毎に該出力軸が該所定回転角だけ回転するのに要する時間である単位回転角回転所要時間を演算する手段である請求項1ないし4いずれか記載の内燃機関装置。
- 請求項1ないし5いずれか記載の内燃機関装置であって、
前記ねじれ要素を介して前記出力軸に接続されると共に前記駆動軸に接続され、電力と動力の入出力を伴って前記出力軸と前記駆動軸に動力を入出力可能な電力動力入出力手段と、
前記駆動軸に動力を入出力可能な電動機と、
を備える内燃機関装置。 - 前記電力動力入出力手段は、動力を入出力可能な発電機と、前記出力軸と前記駆動軸と発電機の回転軸との3軸に接続され該3軸のうちのいずれか2軸に入出力された動力に基づいて残余の軸に動力を入出力する3軸式動力入出力手段と、を備える手段である請求項6記載の内燃機関装置。
- 請求項1ないし7いずれか記載の内燃機関装置を動力源として搭載し、車軸が前記駆動軸に連結されてなる車両。
- ねじれ要素を介して駆動軸側に接続され排気の一部を吸気系に導入する排気ガス再循環装置を有する複数気筒の内燃機関を備える内燃機関装置の前記内燃機関の失火を判定する内燃機関の失火判定方法であって、
(a)前記内燃機関の出力軸の回転位置に基づいて所定回転角毎の前記出力軸の回転数または前記所定回転角毎の該所定回転角を前記出力軸が回転するのに要する時間としての回転変動を演算し、
(b)前記排気ガス再循環装置により排気を吸気系に導入していないときには前記演算された回転変動の第1の所定角度の差分である第1角度差分に基づいて前記内燃機関のいずれかの気筒が失火しているか否かを判定し、前記排気ガス再循環装置により排気を吸気系に導入していないときには前記第1角度差分と前記演算された回転変動の前記第1の所定角度より小さい第2の所定角度の差分である第2角度差分とに基づいて前記内燃機関のいずれかの気筒が失火しているか否かを判定する、
ことを特徴とする内燃機関の失火判定方法。
