Abstract
【解決手段】まず、制振制御と回転数制御を共に行なっている状態で失火か否かの仮判定を行ない(S140〜S160)、失火と仮判定されたときには失火か否かの本判定を行ない(S170〜S210)、失火と本判定されないときには制振制御を禁止した状態で失火か否かの仮判定および本判定を行ない(S230,S140〜S210)、本判定されないときにはさらに回転数制御を禁止した状態で失火か否かの仮判定および本判定を行なう(S260,S140〜S210)。これにより、制振制御や回転数制御が実行されている状態で失火が本判定されないときでも、制振制御や回転数制御の実行を禁止した状態で失火か否かの本判定を行なうことができ、失火検出の頻度を向上させることができる。

前記内燃機関の出力軸の回転位置を検出する回転位置検出手段と、
前記検出された回転位置に基づいて前記出力軸が所定の単位回転角だけ回転するのに要する時間である単位回転角所要時間を演算する単位回転角所要時間演算手段と、
前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを仮判定する仮判定手段と、

(b)前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを仮判定し、
(c)前記内燃機関が失火していると仮判定されたとき、前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定し、
(d)前記内燃機関が失火していると本判定されないとき、前記制振制御の実行の禁止を出力すると共に該制振制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定する、
ことを要旨とする。

- 出力軸が駆動軸に接続された内燃機関と、該内燃機関の出力軸に動力を入出力可能な電動機と、を備え、該内燃機関の運転に伴う振動が抑制されるよう該電動機を制御する制振制御の実行を伴って該内燃機関からの動力の少なくとも一部を該駆動軸に出力する動力出力装置における前記内燃機関の失火を判定する内燃機関の失火判定装置であって、
前記内燃機関の出力軸の回転位置を検出する回転位置検出手段と、
前記検出された回転位置に基づいて前記出力軸が所定の単位回転角だけ回転するのに要する時間である単位回転角所要時間を演算する単位回転角所要時間演算手段と、
前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを仮判定する仮判定手段と、
前記仮判定手段により内燃機関が失火していると仮判定されたとき、前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定する第1本判定手段と、

を備える内燃機関の失火判定装置。 - 請求項1記載の内燃機関の失火判定装置であって、
前記仮判定手段は、前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と第1の閾値とに基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを仮判定する手段であり、
前記第2本判定手段は、前記制振制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と前記第1の閾値とは異なる第2の閾値とに基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを仮判定し、該内燃機関が失火していると仮判定されたときには該単位回転角所要時間に基づいて該内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定する手段である
内燃機関の失火判定装置。 - 請求項2記載の内燃機関の失火判定装置であって、
前記仮判定手段は、前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と該単位回転角所要時間より前記出力軸が第1回転位置前に演算された単位回転角所要時間との差である第1差分を順次演算すると共に該順次演算した第1差分のいずれかが前記第1の閾値より大きいときに前記内燃機関が失火していると仮判定する手段であり、
前記第1本判定手段は、前記順次演算された第1差分のうち前記第1の閾値より大きい対象第1差分に対する該対象第1差分とは異なる該第1差分の比が第1の範囲にあるときに前記内燃機関が失火していると判定する手段であり、
前記第2本判定手段は、前記制振制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と該単位回転角所要時間より前記出力軸が前記第1回転位置前に演算された単位回転角所要時間との差である第2差分を順次演算すると共に該順次演算した第2差分のいずれかが前記第2の閾値より大きいときに前記内燃機関が失火していると仮判定し、該内燃機関が失火していると仮判定されたときには該順次演算した第2差分のうち該第2の閾値より大きい対象第2差分に対する該対象第2差分とは異なる該第2差分の比が前記第1の範囲とは異なる第2の範囲にあるときに前記内燃機関が失火していると判定する手段である
内燃機関の失火判定装置。 - 請求項1ないし3いずれか記載の内燃機関の失火判定装置であって、
前記動力出力装置は、前記内燃機関の回転数が調整されるよう前記電動機を制御する回転数制御を実行する装置であり、
前記第2本判定手段により内燃機関が失火していると本判定されないとき、前記回転数制御の実行の禁止を出力すると共に該回転数制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定する第3本判定手段を備える
内燃機関の失火判定装置。 - 請求項1に係る内燃機関の失火判定装置であって、
前記動力出力装置は、前記内燃機関の回転数が調整されるよう前記電動機を制御する回転数制御を実行する装置であり、
前記仮判定手段は、前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と第1の閾値とに基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを仮判定する手段であり、
前記第2本判定手段は、前記制振制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と前記第1の閾値とは異なる第2の閾値とに基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを仮判定し、該内燃機関が失火していると仮判定されたときには該単位回転角所要時間に基づいて該内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定する手段であり、
前記第2本判定手段により内燃機関が失火していると本判定されないとき、前記回転数制御の実行の禁止を出力すると共に該回転数制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と前記第1の閾値および前記第2の閾値とは異なる第3の閾値とに基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを仮判定し、該内燃機関が失火していると仮判定されたときには該単位回転角所要時間に基づいて該内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定する第3本判定手段を備える
内燃機関の失火判定装置。 - 請求項5記載の内燃機関の失火判定装置であって、
前記仮判定手段は、前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と該単位回転角所要時間より前記出力軸が第1回転位置前に演算された単位回転角所要時間との差である第1差分を順次演算すると共に該順次演算した第1差分のいずれかが前記第1の閾値より大きいときに前記内燃機関が失火していると仮判定する手段であり、
前記第1本判定手段は、前記順次演算された第1差分のうち前記第1の閾値より大きい対象第1差分に対する該対象第1差分とは異なる該第1差分の比が第1の範囲にあるときに前記内燃機関が失火していると判定する手段であり、
前記第2本判定手段は、前記制振制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と該単位回転角所要時間より前記出力軸が前記第1回転位置前に演算された単位回転角所要時間との差である第2差分を順次演算すると共に該順次演算した第2差分のいずれかが前記第2の閾値より大きいときに前記内燃機関が失火していると仮判定し、該内燃機関が失火していると仮判定されたときには該順次演算した第2差分のうち該第2の閾値より大きい対象第2差分に対する該対象第2差分とは異なる該第2差分の比が前記第1の範囲とは異なる第2の範囲にあるときに前記内燃機関が失火していると判定する手段であり、
前記第3本判定手段は、前記回転数制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と該単位回転角所要時間より前記出力軸が前記第1回転位置前に演算された単位回転角所要時間との差である第3差分を順次演算すると共に該順次演算した第3差分のいずれかが前記第3の閾値より大きいときに前記内燃機関が失火していると仮判定し、該内燃機関が失火していると仮判定されたときには該順次演算した第3差分のうち該第3の閾値より大きい対象第3差分に対する該対象第3差分とは異なる該第3差分の比が前記第1の範囲および前記第2の範囲とは異なる第3の範囲にあるときに前記内燃機関が失火していると判定する手段である
内燃機関の失火判定装置。 - 請求項1ないし6いずれか記載の内燃機関の失火判定装置であって、
前記動力出力装置は、前記駆動軸に動力を入出力可能な第2電動機を備え、前記電動機と前記第2電動機とを制御することにより前記制振制御を実行する装置であり、
前記第2本判定手段は、前記電動機と前記第2電動機とのうち一方の電動機による制振制御の実行を禁止すると共に該一方の電動機による制振制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定し、該内燃機関が失火していると本判定されないときには前記電動機と前記第2電動機とのうち他方の電動機による制振制御の実行の禁止を出力すると共に該他方の電動機による制振制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定する手段である
内燃機関の失火判定装置。 - 請求項1ないし7いずれか記載の内燃機関の失火判定装置であって、
前記内燃機関の燃料と空気との比としての空燃比を検出する空燃比検出手段と、
前記第1本判定手段は、前記仮判定手段により内燃機関が失火していると仮判定されたとき、前記演算された単位回転角所要時間と前記検出された空燃比とに基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定する手段である
内燃機関の失火判定装置。 - 前記第1本判定手段は、前記検出された空燃比が所定空燃比を含む所定範囲外のときには前記内燃機関が失火していると本判定しない手段である請求項8記載の内燃機関の失火判定装置。
- 出力軸が駆動軸に接続された内燃機関と、該内燃機関の出力軸に動力を入出力可能な電動機と、を備え、該内燃機関の運転に伴う振動が抑制されるよう該電動機を制御する制振制御の実行を伴って該内燃機関からの動力の少なくとも一部を該駆動軸に出力する動力出力装置における前記内燃機関の失火を判定する内燃機関の失火判定方法であって、
(a)前記内燃機関の出力軸の回転位置に基づいて前記出力軸が所定の単位回転角だけ回転するのに要する時間である単位回転角所要時間を演算し、
(b)前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを仮判定し、
(c)前記内燃機関が失火していると仮判定されたとき、前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定し、
(d)前記内燃機関が失火していると本判定されないとき、前記制振制御の実行の禁止を出力すると共に該制振制御の実行が禁止された後に前記演算された単位回転角所要時間に基づいて前記内燃機関が失火しているか否かを本判定する、
