Description
Claims (50)
- マイクロ針投与デバイスであって、
患者に投与する薬物を収容する供給リザーバに、デバイスを着脱可能な結合部を有する近接端部と、皮膚接触面を有する遠方端部と、を備えたハブ筐体と、
前記皮膚接触面から所定の露出長を有するように延在し、患者の皮膚を貫通して前記薬物を供給するように、前記皮膚接触面に固定されているマイクロ針と、
前記皮膚接触面から延在し、皮膚に接触することによって、皮膚の内部における前記マイクロ針の穿通を制限するための深度制限部材と、
前記マイクロ針の周囲に配置され、皮膚に接触することによって変形しないリッジによって構成され、前記マイクロ針が皮膚に接触した後で且つ貫通する前に皮膚に接触するように前記皮膚接触面から前記深度制限部材とほぼ同じ高さに延び、前記マイクロ針が前記皮膚に貫通している間の前記皮膚を伸張するための伸張部材と、
前記筐体の前記近接端部に設置され、前記供給リザーバに貫通して前記薬物を前記マイクロ針に供給するに十分な長さを有する貫通部材と、
を具備することを特徴とするマイクロ針投与デバイス。 - 前記伸張部材は、前記皮膚接触面から前記深度制限部材よりも低い高さに延びていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、31ゲージの単針を介して供給する場合と実質的に同等な速度で、前記供給リザーバの前記薬物を前記供給リザーバから前記所望の深度に供給するのに適合した、前記マイクロ芯の数と断面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記遠方端部は、前記結合部となる結合開口部を有する、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記結合部は、ねじ込み式の結合、ルアー結合、あるいはスナップ式の結合のいずれかである、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記皮膚接触面は前記ハブ筐体の中心線に対し、90度以下の傾きを持って形成されている、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記貫通部材は、ステンレス鋼、シリコン、シリコン化合物あるいはプラスチックのうちのいずれかの材料によって形成されている、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記貫通部材は針である、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記貫通部材は31ゲージの針である、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、ステンレス鋼、シリコン、シリコン化合物あるいはプラスチックのうちのいずれかの材料によって形成されている、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、少なくとも30ゲージのマイクロ針より構成されている、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、少なくとも31ゲージのマイクロ針より構成されている、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、少なくとも34ゲージのマイクロ針より構成されている、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、第1および第2の端部を有し、前記第1の端部は前記第1の端部よりも小さなゲージであり、前記第2の端部は前記貫通部材より構成されている、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、約0.3mmと5.0mmの間の長さの露出部分を有する、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、約0.3mmと2.0mmの間の長さの露出部分を有する、皮内組織空間へ作用するための、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、約0.75mmと1.70mmの間の長さの露出部分を有する、皮内組織空間へ作用するための、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、約2.0mmと5.0mmの間の長さの露出部分を有する、浅い皮下組織空間へ作用するための、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、約1.7mmと5.0mmの間の長さの露出部分を有する、浅い皮下組織空間へ作用するための、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ針は、約1.7mmと3.0mmの間の露出部分を有する、長さの浅い皮下組織空間へ作用するための、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、前記皮膚接触面から延在する複数の前記マイクロ針を包含している、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、前記皮膚接触面から延在する複数の前記深度制限部材を包含している、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、前記皮膚接触面から延在する複数の皮膚伸張部材を包含している、請求項1に記載のマイクロ針投与デバイス。
- 供給口を有する供給筺体と、
該供給筺体内において薬物を収容し、第1の端部に隔壁、第2の端部にストッパーを有するカートリッジと、
皮膚接触面および該皮膚接触面に固定されている少なくとも1つのマイクロ針を備えた近接端部と、前記供給筺体の供給口に対し離脱可能に取り付けられ、前記隔壁へ貫通するように設置された貫通部材を備えた遠方端部とを有するハブ筺体と、
前記供給筺体に設置された駆動機構と
を具備する薬物投与デバイスであって、
前記近接端部は、前記皮膚接触面から延在し、皮膚に接触することによって、皮膚の内部における前記マイクロ針の穿通を制限するための深度制限部材と、
前記マイクロ針の周囲に配置され、皮膚に接触することによって変形しないリッジによって構成され、前記マイクロ針が皮膚に接触した後で且つ貫通する前に皮膚に接触するように前記皮膚接触面から前記深度制限部材とほぼ同じ高さに延び、前記マイクロ針が前記皮膚に貫通している間の前記皮膚を伸張する伸張部材とを更に備え、
前記ストッパーは、プランジャーに位置決めされることによって前記カートリッジをシールし、
前記少なくとも1つのマイクロ針は、前記薬物を皮内あるいは浅い皮下へ投与するに適応した長さを有し、前記マイクロ針は、前記カートリッジから前記薬物を受け入れる前記貫通部材と流通しており、
前記駆動機構が前記プランジャーと前記ストッパーを前記隔壁へ移動させることによって、前記薬物が前記カートリッジから前記貫通部材を通過して前記少なくとも1つのマイクロ針へ輸送され、患者への前記薬物の投与が実行される、薬物投与デバイス。 - 前記伸張部材は、前記接触面から延びて、前記深度制限柱の高さ以下の高さを有する、請求項24に記載の薬物投与デバイス。
- 前記供給口には、前記貫通部材が前記薬物カートリッジ内の前記収容物に接触して前記マイクロ針に前記薬物が流通されるような、前記ハブ筺体と安全に結合するための機械的な結合機構が具備されていることを特徴とする請求項24に記載の薬物投与デバイス。
- 前記機械的な結合機構とは、ねじ込み式の結合、ルアー式の結合あるいは、スナップ式の結合のうちのいずれかである、請求項26に記載の薬物投与デバイス。
- 31ゲージの単針を介して供給する場合と実質的に同等な速度で、前記供給リザーバの前記薬物を前記供給リザーバから前記所望の深度に供給するのに適合した、前記マイクロ芯の数と断面積を有することを特徴とする請求項24に記載の薬物投与デバイス。
