Abstract
Description

Claims (20)
- 電子IDカードであって、
第1の面及び第2の面を有し、前記第1の面に延在する凹部を画定する金属基板と、
前記金属基板の前記第2の面に沿って配設された強磁性膜と、
前記凹部内に少なくとも部分的に配設された集積回路と、
前記金属基板上に配設された第1のコーティング層であって、
前記金属基板の前記第1の面に延在し、ポリマーと前記ポリマー内に分散された顔料とを含む第1の層と、
前記第1の層に延在し、透明ポリマーを含む第2の層と、
を含む第1のコーティング層と、
を備える、電子IDカード。 - 前記第2の層の硬度が前記第1の層より高く、
前記第2の層が前記電子IDカードの外面を画定し、
前記第2の層の表面粗さが約0.5μmRaである、
請求項1に記載の電子IDカード。 - 前記第1の層が前記金属基板の前記第1の面に接着されたウレタンプライマを含み、
前記第1の層の前記ポリマーが、前記ウレタンプライマにより前記金属基板に接着されたウレタンを含み、
前記第2の層が、前記電子IDカードの外面の一部を画定する透明なアクリレートを含む、請求項1に記載の電子IDカード。 - 前記電子IDカードが、前記集積回路に配置された接触プレートを更に備え、
前記透明なアクリレートによって画定される前記外面の前記一部が第1の部分であり、
前記接触プレートが、前記電子IDカードの前記外面の第2の部分を画定する端子電極アレイを画定する、請求項3に記載の電子IDカード。 - 前記端子電極アレイの各端子電極が、前記接触プレートの縁部から変位されている、請求項4に記載の電子IDカード。
- 前記接触プレートが、前記端子電極アレイを囲む導電層を更に含む、請求項4に記載の電子IDカード。
- 前記接触プレートが、誘電材料から形成されたプレート基板を含み、
各端子電極が、
無電解めっき金属から形成され、前記接触プレートの前記誘電材料上に延在する第1の層と、
電気めっき金属から形成され、前記第1の層上に延在する第2の層と、
を含む、請求項4に記載の電子IDカード。 - 前記電子IDカードが、前記第1の面を囲む第1のセットの面取り縁部を画定し、
前記電子IDカードが、前記第2の面を囲む第2のセットの面取り縁部を画定する、請求項1に記載の電子IDカード。 - 前記強磁性膜が裏張り層に取り付けられ、
第1の面取り縁部が、少なくとも部分的に、前記強磁性膜及び前記裏張り層内に形成された傾斜縁部によって画定され、
前記第1の面取り縁部が、前記強磁性膜と前記裏張り層の前記傾斜縁部と一致する、請求項8に記載の電子IDカード。 - 前記電子IDカードがレーザ形成レリーフ特徴部を更に備え、前記レーザ形成レリーフ特徴部が、
前記第1のコーティング層を通って延在するマーキング凹部を画定する少なくとも1つの凹状壁と、
前記マーキング凹部の底部を画定する凹状マーキング特徴部と、
を含む、請求項1に記載の電子IDカード。 - 前記電子IDカードが4つの角を持つ矩形であり、各角が丸みを帯びた形状を有し、
前記丸みを帯びた形状が、不均一な曲率半径を持つスプライン形状である、
請求項1に記載の電子IDカード。 - 電子カードであって、
前面に形成された凹部を画定する金属基板と、
前記前面と反対側の前記金属基板の背面に沿って配置された強磁性膜と、
前記金属基板の前記凹部に配置された集積回路と、
前記集積回路に配置された接触プレートであって、
プレート基板と、
前記プレート基板に配設された端子電極アレイであって、各端子電極が前記プレート基板の縁部から変位されている前記端子電極アレイと、
を含む接触プレートと、
を備える、電子カード。 - 前記接触プレートが、研磨領域セットを更に含み、各研磨領域が、前記端子電極アレイの各端子電極と前記プレート基板の各縁部との間に配置されている、請求項12に記載の電子カード。
- 前記接触プレートが、前記端子電極アレイを囲む導電材料を含む周辺部を更に含み、
前記周辺部が、1つ以上の研磨領域によって前記端子電極アレイから分離されている、
請求項12に記載の電子カード。 - 前記端子電極アレイが、前記プレート基板の前面に配設されており、
前記接触プレートが、前記プレート基板の背面に配設された背面導電層を更に含み、
前記端子電極アレイが、前記プレート基板を貫通する1つ以上のビアによって前記背面導電層に電気的に接続されている、
請求項12に記載の電子カード。 - 前記プレート基板が非導電材料で形成されており、
前記端子電極アレイが、
前記プレート基板の前記非導電材料上に配設された無電解めっき金属を含む第1の導電層と、
前記第1の導電層の上に配設された電気めっき金属を含む第2の導電層と、
を含む、
請求項12に記載の電子カード。 - 電子カード用接触プレートの形成方法であって、
フォトレジスト層をプレート基板の前面に塗布することと、
光源を使用して前記フォトレジスト層を露光して、めっき領域アレイを画定するめっきマスクを形成することと、
前記めっき領域アレイに触媒溶液を塗布して、前記めっき領域アレイのめっき領域に沿って第1の導電層を形成することと、
前記第1の導電層にめっき液を塗布することと、
前記めっき液が前記第1の導電層に塗布されている間、前記第1の導電層に電流を印加して、端子電極と前記プレート基板の縁部との間で変位される前記端子電極を画定する電気めっきプロセスを使用して、前記第1の導電層上に第2の導電層を形成することと、
を含む方法。 - 前記プレート基板が非導電材料で形成され、
前記第1の導電層が、前記第1の導電層を前記プレート基板の前記縁部に電気的に接続するブリッジ部を含み、
前記方法は、前記ブリッジ部内に少なくとも部分的に位置する前記第1及び第2の導電層の一部をレーザ研磨して、前記プレート基板の前記非導電材料の一部を露出させることを更に含む、
請求項17に記載の方法。 - 導電周辺部が、前記プレート基板の前記前面に配置され、前記端子電極を少なくとも部分的に囲み、
前記ブリッジ部が、前記端子電極と前記導電周辺部との間に延在している、請求項18に記載の方法。 - 前記前面と反対側の前記プレート基板の背面に沿って背面導電層を形成することと、
前記プレート基板を貫通する1つ以上のビアを使用して、前記第1の導電層を前記背面導電層に電気的に結合することと、
