比較例1、比較例2、および比較例3では、100%PLA二成分布をReicofil−4ビームで調製した。プレスロール(R−4プレスロール)は、フィラメントが収集表面上に堆積される下流の収集表面上に位置させた。Ionis Elektrostatik Discharging Electrode E3412(すなわち、イオン化バー)は、収集表面の上に位置させ、収集表面にわたって横方向に延在しており、収集表面の上およそ1〜3インチで、R−4プレスロールの下流2〜3インチに置いた。
実施例1では、シース/コア構造を有する100%PLA二成分布を調製し、ここでは、シースを規定するポリマー成分にPLA樹脂および第二級アルカンスルホネートを含む2重量%のマスターバッチを添加した。システムの設定は、比較例1、比較例2、および比較例3について上に記載されたのと同じである。
実施例2では、シース/コア配置を有する100%PLA二成分布を調製し、ここでは、シースを規定するポリマー成分にPLA樹脂および第二級アルカンスルホネートを含む3重量%のマスターバッチを添加した。システムの設定は、比較例1、比較例2、および比較例3について上に記載されたのと同じである。
実施例3では、シース/コア配置を有する100%PLA二成分布を調製し、ここでは、シースを規定するポリマー成分にPLA樹脂および第二級アルカンスルホネートを含む2重量%のマスターバッチを添加した。システムの設定は、比較例1、比較例2、および比較例3について上に記載されたのと同じである。
実施例4では、シース/コア配置を有する100%PLA二成分布を調製し、ここでは、シースを規定するポリマー成分にPLA樹脂および第二級アルカンスルホネートを含む2重量%のマスターバッチを添加した。システムの設定は、比較例1、比較例2、および比較例3について上に記載されたのと同じである。
比較例4では、シース/コア配置を有する100%PLA二成分布を調製し、ここでは、シースを規定するポリマー成分に0.5重量%のNatureWorks Grade 6302を添加した。NatureWorks Grade 6302は、PLAポリマー処方物に添加されるマスターバッチについての担体ポリマーとして一般に使用される。したがって、このPLA樹脂は、第二級アルカンスルホネートにおけるPLA樹脂の良好な近似をもたらすと考えられる。システムの設定は、比較例1、比較例2、および比較例3について上に記載されたのと同じである。
比較例5では、シース/コア配置を有する100%PLA二成分布を調製し、ここでは、シースを規定するポリマー成分に1.0重量%のNatureWorks Grade 6302を添加した。システムの設定は、比較例1、比較例2、および比較例3について上に記載されたのと同じである。
比較例6では、シース/コア配置を有する100%PLA二成分布を調製し、ここでは、シースを規定するポリマー成分に2.0重量%のNatureWorks Grade 6302を添加した。システムの設定は、比較例1、比較例2、および比較例3について上に記載されたのと同じである。
比較例7では、シース/コア配置を有する100%PLA二成分布を調製し、ここでは、シースを規定するポリマー成分に3.5重量%のNatureWorks Grade 6302を添加した。システムの設定は、比較例1、比較例2、および比較例3について上に記載されたのと同じである。
実施例5では、シース/コア配置を有する100%PLA二成分布を調製し、ここでは、シースを規定するポリマー成分に、PLA樹脂および第二級アルカンスルホネートを含む0.3重量%のマスターバッチを添加した。システムの設定は、比較例1、比較例2、および比較例3について上に記載されたのと同じである。
実施例5では、シース/コア配置を有する100%PLA二成分布を調製し、ここでは、シースを規定するポリマー成分に、PLA樹脂および第二級アルカンスルホネートを含む0.3重量%のマスターバッチを添加した。システムの設定は、実施例1、実施例2、および実施例3について上に記載されたのと同じである。

- 互いに結合されて凝集性ウェブを形成する複数の繊維を含むスパンボンド不織布であって、前記繊維が、ポリ乳酸(PLA)と少なくとも1種の第二級アルカンスルホネートとのブレンドを含むものであるスパンボンド不織布。
- 前記ブレンドが、前記複数の繊維の表面に存在する請求項1に記載のスパンボンド不織布。
- 前記少なくとも1種の第二級アルカンスルホネートが、C10〜C18を有するアルカン鎖を含み、前記アルカン鎖の第二級炭素の少なくとも1個がスルホネート部分を含む請求項1または2に記載のスパンボンド不織布。
- 前記少なくとも1種の第二級アルカンスルホネートが、以下の構造:

前記ストリームから複数のPLA連続フィラメントを形成するステップと、
前記複数のPLA連続フィラメントを収集表面上に堆積させるステップと、
前記複数のPLA連続フィラメントをイオンに曝露するステップと、
前記複数のPLA連続フィラメントを結合して、前記PLAスパンボンド不織布を形成するステップと
