Claims (6)
- 鞍乗型車両の車両本体とリヤサスペンションアームとの間に取り付けられ、衝撃を吸収するスプリングと前記スプリングの振動を減衰させるダンパとを備えたリヤクッション装置であって、
前記ダンパは、
シリンダと、
前記シリンダ内に設けられたピストンと、
一端側が前記シリンダ内において前記ピストンに接続され、他端側がシリンダから軸方向他側に伸長したロッドと、
前記シリンダの軸方向一端側に設けられ、当該リヤクッション装置を前記車両本体と前記リヤサスペンションアームとの間に取り付けるためのシリンダ側取付部と、
前記ロッドの軸方向他端側に設けられ、当該リヤクッション装置を前記車両本体と前記リヤサスペンションアームとの間に取り付けるためのロッド側取付部とを備え、
前記ロッド側取付部は、
円柱状に形成され、前記ロッドと同軸となるように前記ロッドの軸方向他端側に固定され、外周面にねじが形成された内側部材と、
前記内側部材の外周側に取り付けられた外側部材とを備え、
前記外側部材は、
筒状に形成され、前記内側部材のねじと螺合するねじが内周面に形成された筒状部と、
当該外側部材を前記車両本体または前記リヤサスペンションアームに連結するための連結部とを備えていることを特徴とするリヤクッション装置。 - 前記ロッド側取付部は、前記内側部材を前記筒状部に対して回転させることにより前記内側部材の前記筒状部に対するねじ込み量を調節可能な状態と、前記内側部材を前記筒状部に対して回転不能に固定することにより前記内側部材の前記筒状部に対するねじ込み量が固定された状態とを切り替えることができる調節固定切替機構を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリヤクッション装置。
- 前記調節固定切替機構は、
前記筒状部の周壁に形成され、前記筒状部を縮径可能にするスリットと、
前記筒状部を周方向に締め付けることにより前記筒状部を縮径させる締付機構とを備えていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のリヤクッション装置。 - 前記内側部材の外周側には、前記内側部材を回転させるための工具と係合する工具係合部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のリヤクッション装置。
- 前記内側部材の前記筒状部に対するねじ込み量が最大であるときに、前記筒状部の一側端面が前記ロッドの他側端面よりも軸方向一側に位置することを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のリヤクッション装置。
- 前記内側部材の一端側部分には径方向外向きに張り出した張出部が形成され、前記張出部において軸方向他側を向いた面は前記筒状部の一側端面と対向していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載のリヤクッション装置。
