Abstract
Description
例えば宇宙飛行用電力の用途に用いられる、ソーラーセルアレイの設計に関する新たな手法は、アレイ内のソーラーセル間の電気的接続に基づいている。
ソーラーセル14間には、複雑な電気的接続が必要とされる。この新しい手法は、基板12上でプリント、エッチング、又は形成された、パターン化されたコーナー導体20を使用する。代替的な実施例では、基板12は、剛性であるPCB、又は可撓性である可撓性シート組立品であり得る。

Claims (17)
- ソーラーセル(14)用の基板(12)を備えている構造体であって、前記基板は、
コーナー領域を画定する少なくとも1つの刈り込まれたコーナー部(24)を有する少なくとも1つのソーラーセル(14)が前記基板(12)に取り付けられているときに、前記基板(12)のエリアが露出されたままとなり、
露出されたままの前記基板の前記エリアが、1つ以上の導体(24)を含み、且つ
前記ソーラーセル(14)と前記導体(24)との間の電気的接続(16)が前記コーナー領域内で行われるように構成されている、構造体。 - 前記ソーラーセルが、前記ソーラーセル(14)の前面上に前面接点(32)を含む、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記前面接点(32)が前記コーナー領域(26)内に延在する、請求項2に記載の構造体。
- 前記ソーラーセルが、前記ソーラーセル(14)の背面上に背面接点(34)を含む、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記背面接点(34)が前記コーナー領域(26)内に延在する、請求項4に記載の構造体。
- 前記導体(20)が、前記基板(12)上でパターン化される、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記導体(20)が、絶縁層(66)で覆われる、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記ソーラーセル(14)が、前記導体(20)の上に置かれる、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記導体(20)が、前記ソーラーセル(14)の下方を通じる、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記導体(20)が、前記ソーラーセル(14)の外周にある、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記導体(20)が、前記ソーラーセル(14)の一方の刈り込まれたコーナー部(24)から他方の刈り込まれたコーナー部(24)へと通じる、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記少なくとも1つのソーラーセル(14)が、前記基板(12)に、2次元(2D)格子状のアレイ(22)で取り付けられている複数のソーラーセル(14)を備えている、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 電気的接続が、前記複数のソーラーセル(14)を通る電流の流れを決定する直列接続である、請求項12に記載の構造体。
- 前記電気的接続が、前記複数のソーラーセル(14)のストリングを終端する、請求項12に記載の構造体。
- 前記導体(20)が、前記ソーラーセル(14)のうちの1つの刈り込まれたコーナー部(24)から前記ソーラーセル(14)のうちの他方の刈り込まれたコーナー部(24)へと通じる、請求項12に記載の構造体。
- 前記導体(20)は、前記電気的接続が前記基板(12)を離れることを可能にする、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記電気接続のうちの1つ以上に使用するために、1つ以上のバイパスダイオード(44)が、露出されたままの前記基板(12)の前記エリア(28)に追加される、請求項1に記載の構造体。
