Abstract
Description
1.フラックス塗布装置を長期間使用すると、フラックス塗布量を調整する部材(ダイス)にフラックスが付着して固形化し、均一な厚さにフラックスを塗布できなくなる。
2.はんだに塗布するフラックスの膜厚を変更したい場合、フラックス塗布量を調整する部材(ダイス)自体を交換する必要がある。
(1)長尺状の被覆対象物を液体に浸漬して被覆対象物の表面に液体を塗布する浸漬塗布手段と、浸漬塗布手段により液体を塗布されて液体の液面に対して垂直に引き上げられる被覆対象物を、所定の速度で搬送する搬送手段と、被覆対象物を浸漬塗布手段に投入する側を上流側、被覆対象物を浸漬塗布手段から排出する側を下流側としたとき、浸漬塗布手段より上流側に設けられ、搬送手段で搬送される被覆対象物に所定の負荷を与える負荷手段と、液体を塗布された被覆対象物を乾燥させる乾燥手段と、乾燥された被覆対象物を冷却する冷却手段と、被覆対象物の搬送速度を計測する搬送速度計測手段と、この搬送速度計測手段の計測結果に基づいて搬送手段を制御する制御手段とを備える液体塗布装置。
図1に示すフラックス塗布装置100は、一例として所定の幅を有する長尺状に成形された被覆対象物であるはんだの表面に、均一膜厚で液体のフラックス3を塗布する装置である。はんだの搬送方向に対して、長尺状に成形されたはんだを繰り出し(供給)、フラックス槽30に投入する側、すなわち、図中左側が上流である。一方、フラックス槽30から排出し、はんだを巻き取る側、すなわち、右側が下流である。はんだは、上流から下流に搬送される。
そのために、繰り出しローラー11には予め設定されたトルクが付与されており、一例として公知のパウダーブレーキを用いることができる。また、繰り出しローラー11には、金属ローラーや、耐熱性のゴムローラー、炭素ローラー、樹脂ローラー等のローラー部材を使用することができる。なお、本例の場合、繰り出しローラー11はそれ自体では駆動源を持たずに、搬送手段の他の駆動源によって従動されつつ、パウダーブレーキ等の手段によってはんだ9aにバックテンションを付与するものであるが、図1に示すように、繰り出しモーター11aで駆動するようにしても良い。そのように構成した場合には、繰り出しローラー11に巻きつけられたはんだ9aを繰り出しローラー11に対するはんだ9aの巻径(巻量)に拘わらず周速度一定で繰り出すように予めプログラムされるとともに、後述するレーザ・センサ63ではんだ9、9aの搬送速度を測定し、一定の搬送速度または所定のバックテンションをはんだ9、9aに付与するために一定の搬送速度より若干遅い搬送速度となるように後述する制御手段により、はんだ9aの繰り出し速度を繰り出しモーター11aに命令するようにすれば良い。
続いて、図4を参照して、フラックス塗布装置100の制御手段の構成及び制御ステップについて説明する。制御部5は、搬送手段を制御してはんだ9の搬送速度を制御するために、操作部14、表示装置15、巻取りモーター66a、レーザ・センサ63、速度検知ローラー64等に接続する。
続いて、図5A及び図5Bを参照して、フラックス塗布されたはんだ9の構成例について説明する。図5Aに示すはんだ9は、所定の幅t(t=約15mm〜40mm)、図示しない所定の厚み(約0.25mm)のフラックス塗布前のはんだ9aと、そのはんだ9aの表裏を被覆する膜厚Δtのフラックス3とを備えている。

- 長尺状の被覆対象物を液体に浸漬して前記被覆対象物の表面に前記液体を塗布する浸漬塗布手段と、
前記浸漬塗布手段により液体を塗布されて液体の液面に対して垂直に引き上げられる前記被覆対象物を、所定の速度で搬送する搬送手段と、
被覆対象物を前記浸漬塗布手段に投入する側を上流側、被覆対象物を前記浸漬塗布手段から排出する側を下流側としたとき、前記浸漬塗布手段より上流側に設けられ、前記搬送手段で搬送される被覆対象物に所定の負荷を与える負荷手段と、
前記液体を塗布された被覆対象物を乾燥させる乾燥手段と、
乾燥された前記被覆対象物を冷却する冷却手段と、
前記被覆対象物の搬送速度を計測する搬送速度計測手段と、

前記乾燥手段の外かつ前記液体塗布室内の熱気を排出する排気手段を更に備える請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の液体塗布装置。 - 前記搬送手段は、巻き取り手段を備え、この巻き取り手段により前記はんだを巻き取る際に、層間紙を供給する層間紙供給手段を更に備える請求項3に記載の液体塗布装置。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の液体塗布装置によって形成される被覆部材。
- 前記被覆対象物ははんだであり、塗布する前記液体がフラックスである
請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のフラックス塗布装置。 - 請求項8に記載のフラックス塗布装置によって形成されるはんだ。
