Abstract
【解決手段】2つの吸気ポート24および2つの排気ポート26の開口端の略中間位置に、シリンダヘッド16の下面から燃焼室18側に突き出した突部40が形成されている。点火プラグ22は、突部40の略中心に形成されたプラグ穴42に挿嵌されている。突部40を有する燃焼室18の構造によれば、ωタンブル流の形成を抑制できる。

Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の燃焼室の上壁面の中央部に設けられた点火プラグを備え、前記燃焼室において、シリンダ軸方向の旋回流であるタンブル流が形成される火花点火式内燃機関の燃焼室構造であって、
前記上壁面に凸設され、前記燃焼室の中央部を流れる気流を周囲に分散させつつ前記燃焼室の吸排気方向にガイドするガイド部を設けたことを特徴とする火花点火式内燃機関の燃焼室構造。 - 前記ガイド部が、前記点火プラグの設置箇所に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の火花点火式内燃機関の燃焼室構造。
