Abstract
【解決手段】密封装置付き軸受装置10は、内輪12と、外輪14と、内輪12の軌道12aと外輪14の軌道14aとの間に介在させた転動体16と、転動体16を円周方向で所定間隔に保持する保持器18とを具備し、内輪12と外輪14との間の間に密封装置S2が着脱可能に取り付けてある。密封装置S2は、外輪14に取り付けた外輪側部材と、内輪12に取り付けた内輪側部材とからなり、内輪側部材と内輪との嵌合部に、内輪12の内径の寸法変化を抑制するための弾性体層が介在させてある。

Description
複列円すいころ軸受110は、軸方向に隣接した一対の内輪112と、複列外輪114と、複列の転動体すなわちここでは円すいころ116と、保持器118とを有し、さらに密封装置120を備えている。
この発明の目的はこのような問題点を除去することにある。
前記密封装置は、前記内輪に取り付けた内輪側部材と、前記外輪に取り付けた外輪側部材と、前記内輪側部材と前記外輪側部材との間に介在させたシール本体とからなり、前記内輪側部材の、前記内輪と嵌合する表面に、前記内輪の内径の寸法変化を抑制するための弾性体層が設けてあり、前記内輪の前記内輪側部材と嵌合する部分の肉厚は20mm〜30mmであり、前記シール本体の基部を前記内輪側部材又は前記外輪側部材に固定したことを特徴とするものである。
外輪側部材30の小径筒部34と内輪側部材40のスリーブ42とで形成されるラビリンスシールによって、軸受内部に充填したグリースの流出を防止する。内側リップ44cは主として軸受内部に充填したグリースが外部にもれ出るのを防止する。外側リップ44dを通過して進入した水などを堰き止める役割も果たす。外側44dは主として外部から水その他の異物が侵入するのを防止する役割を果たす。

Claims (10)
- 内輪と、外輪と、前記内輪の軌道と前記外輪の軌道との間に介在させた転動体と、前記転動体を円周方向で所定間隔に保持する保持器とを具備し、前記内輪と前記外輪との間に密封装置を取り付けたものにおいて、
前記密封装置は、前記内輪に取り付けた内輪側部材と、前記外輪に取り付けた外輪側部材と、前記内輪側部材と前記外輪側部材との間に介在させたシール本体とからなり、前記内輪側部材の、前記内輪と嵌合する表面に、前記内輪の内径の寸法変化を抑制するための弾性体層が設けてあり、前記内輪の前記内輪側部材と嵌合する部分の肉厚は20mm〜30mmであり、前記シール本体の基部を前記内輪側部材又は前記外輪側部材に固定した、密封装置付き軸受装置。 - 前記シール本体の基部を前記外輪側部材に固定し、前記シール本体の先端を前記内輪側部材の表面に弾性的に接触させた請求項1の密封装置付き軸受装置。
- 前記シール本体の基部を前記内輪側部材に固定し、前記シール本体の先端を前記外輪側部材の表面に弾性的に接触させた請求項1の密封装置付き軸受装置。
- 前記外輪側部材は、前記外輪の端部内周面と嵌合する大径円筒部と、前記大径円筒部と平行な小径円筒部と、前記大径円筒部の外端部と前記小径円筒部の外端部を接続する接続部とからなり、
前記内輪側部材は、前記内輪のつばの外周面よりも大きな内径を有する円筒形のスリーブと、前記スリーブの外端部から半径方向外方に立ち上がったフランジとからなり、前記スリーブの内周面から前記フランジの表面を経てさらに前記フランジから半径方向に突出して前記シールリップを形成した弾性体層を有する請求項3の密封装置付き軸受装置。 - 前記シールリップは軸方向で互いに離間した内側リップと外側リップとからなり、前記両リップ間に外径側に開放した環状溝を形成した、請求項4の密封装置付き軸受装置。
- 前記内輪のつばの外周面に円周方向溝を形成し、前記内輪側部材の内径側に位置する弾性体層の内周面に円周方向突起を形成し、前記円周方向溝に前記円周方向突起を係合させた請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項の密封装置付き軸受装置。
- 縦断面において、前記内輪側部材の内周面を凸円弧状とし、前記内輪のつばの外周面を凹円弧状とした請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項の密封装置付き軸受装置。
- 前記内輪のつばの外周面に円周方向溝を形成し、前記内輪側部材の内端部に内径側を向いた爪を形成し、前記円周方向溝に前記爪を係合させた請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項の密封装置付き軸受装置。
- 前記内輪のつばの外周面にローレット加工を施した請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項の密封装置付き軸受装置。
- 前記内輪のつばの外周面に軸方向溝を形成し、前記内輪側部材の内周面に軸方向突起を形成し、前記軸方向溝に前記軸方向突起を係合させた請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項の密封装置付き軸受装置。
