Abstract
【解決手段】ビットインターリービングブロックはターボ符号化ビットをインターリーブし、コンステレーションシンボルマッピングブロックはインターリーブ化ビットをコンステレーションシンボルにマッピングし、コンステレーションシンボルインターリービングブロックはコンステレーションシンボルをインターリービングし、チャネライゼーションブロックはインターリーブ化コンステレーションシンボルをインターレースし、OFDMシンボルを出力する。

Description
本特許出願は、2004年7月29日に出願され、これの譲受人へ譲渡され、参照して本明細書に明示的に組み込まれる、特許仮出願第60/592,999号、表題「OFDM無線通信システムにおけるチャネルインターリービング方法(METHOD OF CHANNEL INTERLEAVING IN A OFDM WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM)」の優先権を主張する。
図1bのインターリーバは、変調ダイバーシティを達成するためビットインターリービング154を使用する。ターボパケットのコードビット152は、隣接するコードビットが異なるコンステレーションシンボルへマップされるパターンにてインターリーブされる。例えば2m−Ary変調の場合、NビットインターリーババッファはN/mブロックへ分割される。隣接するコードビットは隣接するブロックへ順次に書き込まれ、図2a(上)に示すとおり、その後バッファの先頭から末尾にかけて順次に1つずつ読み取られる。これは、隣接するコードビットが異なるコンステレーションシンボルへマップされることを保証する。同等に、図2b(下)に示すとおり、インターリーババッファはN/m行×m列のマトリックスに配列される。コードビットは列ごとにバッファへ書き込まれ、行ごとに読み取られる。マッピングに依存する16QAMの場合、コンステレーションシンボルのあるビットは他のビットより信頼性が高いため、例えば、第1及び第3のビットは第2及び第4のビットより信頼性が高いため、隣接するコードビットがコンステレーションシンボルの同じビット位置へマップされるのを防ぐには、行は左から右へ、そして右から左へ、交互に読み取られるべきである。
一実施形態によると、チャネルインターリーバは、コンステレーションシンボルインターリービングのためインターリーブ化インターレースを用いることにより、周波数ダイバーシティを達成する。これは、明示的なコンステレーションシンボルインターリービングの必要性を解消する。インターリービングは2つのレベルで実行される。
・インターレース内またはイントラインターレース・インターリービング(Within or Intra Interlace Interleaving):一実施形態においては、1個のインターレースの500副搬送波がビット逆転方式でインターリーブされる。
・インターレース間またはインターインターレース・インターリービング(Between or Inter Interlace Interleaving):一実施形態においては、8個のインターレースがビット逆転方式でインターリーブされる。
・N=I−1は、トラフィックデータスケジューリングのために使用されるインターレースの数であり、ここでIは総インターレース数である、
・i∈{0,1,...,I−1}は、パイロットインターレースを除く、スロットsがOFDMシンボルtにてマップする先のインターレースインデックスである、
・t=0,1,...,T−1は、スーパーフレームにおけるOFDMシンボルインデックスであり、ここでTはフレーム2における総OFDMシンボル数である。現在の設計でフレーム内のOFDM記号数は14で割れないから、フレームに代わるスーパーフレームにおけるOFDM記号インデックスはさらなるダイバーシティをフレームへ与える。
