Description
地表下地層から得られる炭化水素はエネルギー資源として、供給原料として、また消費製品として使用されることが多い。有用な炭化水素資源の枯渇に対する関心及び生産した炭化水素の全体的な品質低下に対する関心により、有用な炭化水素資源の一層効率的な回収、処理及び/又は使用方法が開発されてきた。地下の地層から炭化水素材料を取り出すため、現場プロセスが使用できる。地下の地層から炭化水素材料を一層容易に取り出すためには、地下地層中の炭化水素材料の化学的及び/又は物理的特性を変える必要があるかも知れない。このような化学的物理的変化は、地層中の炭化水素材料についての取出し可能な流体、組成変化、溶解度変化、密度変化、相変化及び/又は粘度変化を生成する現場反応を含むかも知れない。流体は、限定されるものではないが、ガス、液体、エマルジョン、スラリー、及び/又は液体流と同様の流動特性を有する固体粒子の流れであってよい。
ここに記載した実施態様は一般に地表下地層を処理するためのシステム、方法及びヒーターに関する。

Claims (23)
- 各トンネルの平均直径が1m以上で、少なくとも1つのトンネルは地表下炭化水素含有地層の表面に接続した1つ以上のトンネル;及び
該トンネルの少なくとも1つから該地表下炭化水素含有地層の少なくとも一部内に延びた2つ以上の坑井孔であって、該坑井孔の少なくとも2つは、該地表下炭化水素含有地層の少なくとも一部を加熱して、少なくとも若干の炭化水素が流動化するように構成した長尺の熱源を有する該坑井孔;
を備えた地表下炭化水素含有地層用処理システム。 - 前記トンネルの少なくとも1つを前記表面に接続する少なくとも1つのシャフトを更に備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記トンネルの少なくとも1つを前記表面に接続する、ほぼ垂直に向いた少なくとも1つのシャフトを更に備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記流動化流体が地層から生産坑井に排出するように配置した生産坑井を更に備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記トンネルの少なくとも1つ内に配置された生産システムを更に備え、該生産システムは地層から流体を生産し、該トンネルに集めるように構成されている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記生産システムトンネルが、重力排出により地層中に流体を集めるために配置される請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記生産システムが、生産システムトンネルに連結したほぼ垂直な生産坑井孔を備える請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1つのトンネルから延びる少なくとも1つの水蒸気注入坑井孔を備え、該水蒸気注入坑井孔は1つ以上の水蒸気供給源に接続し、該水蒸気注入坑井孔の少なくとも1つは水蒸気を地表下炭化水素含有地層に供給するように構成されている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記トンネルの少なくとも1つの平均直径が2m以上である請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記トンネルの少なくとも1つの横断面形状が円形、楕円形、直角又は不定形である請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱源の少なくとも1つが電気抵抗ヒーターであり、少なくとも1つのトンネルに配置した導電体が該ヒーターに電力を供給するように構成されている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱源の少なくとも1つがガスバーナーであり、該ガスバーナー用の燃料を運ぶように構成された導管を更に備え、該導管は少なくとも1つのトンネル内に配置されている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱源の少なくとも2つは、熱源間の電流の少なくとも若干の流れにより地層を加熱するように構成されている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱源間の電流が地層を抵抗加熱するように構成されている請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記坑井孔の少なくとも2つが、加熱流体を少なくとも2つのトンネル間に流して地層を加熱するように構成されている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記トンネルの少なくとも1つに連結した生産システムを更に備え、該生産システムは加熱流体を地層から地層の表面に取出すように構成されている請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記生産システムが、加熱流体を地層の表面に移動させる昇降システムを備える請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記トンネルの少なくとも1つがほぼ水平であり、前記坑井孔の少なくとも2つが該トンネルから或る角度で延びている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記トンネルを地層流体から密封するように構成されたトンネル内に1つ以上の不浸透性障壁を更に備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記坑井孔の少なくとも1つが、少なくとも2つのトンネル間で傾斜掘削される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 請求項1〜20のいずれか1項に記載のシステムから地表下炭化水素含有地層に熱を供給して地層中の炭化水素の少なくとも若干を流動化する工程を含む地表下炭化水素含有地層の処理方法。
- 前記部分から地層流体を生産する工程を更に含む請求項21に記載の方法。
- 地層流体を前記トンネルの少なくとも1つに排出し、生産システムを用いて該排出トンネルから流体を地層の表面に産出させる工程を更に含む請求項21に記載の方法。
