Abstract
【解決手段】次の段階を含む炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造方法である:(i)石炭系ピッチを粉砕する段階;(ii)粉砕された石炭系ピッチをアルコール溶媒および架橋剤と共に粉砕溶解する段階;(iii)粉砕溶解された混合物を乾燥してアルコール溶媒を除去する段階;および(iv)アルコール溶媒が除去された混合物を冷却後粉砕する段階。

Description
比較例の炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造は、従来の方法、例えば、大韓民国登録特許第0653929号公報、日本国特許公開第1988−145392号公報および第1994−248274号公報に開示された方法が使用され得る。これを簡略に説明すると次の通りである。
上記比較例1と同様に、煙火点が114.8℃であり、炭化収率が36.9%の石炭系原料ピッチを準備した。これを使用して、次のように炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチを製造した。
架橋剤であるヨウ素を0.6kg(石炭系原料ピッチに対し2.0質量部)で添加したことを除いては、実施例1と同様な方法によって炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチを製造し、物性を測定して、これらの結果を表2に示した。
Claims (9)
- 次の段階を含む炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造方法:
(i)石炭系ピッチを粉砕する段階;
(ii)前記粉砕された石炭系ピッチをアルコール溶媒および架橋剤と共に粉砕溶解する段階;
(iii)前記粉砕溶解された混合物を乾燥して前記アルコール溶媒を除去する段階;および
(iv)前記アルコール溶媒が除去された混合物を冷却後粉砕する段階。 - 前記段階(i)における粉砕は、前記石炭系ピッチの平均粒子サイズが1000μm以下になるように行われる、請求項1に記載の炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造方法。
- 前記段階(ii)で前記石炭系ピッチと前記アルコール溶媒は1:2〜2:1の体積比で使用される、請求項1または2に記載の炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造方法。
- 前記段階(ii)で前記石炭系ピッチと前記アルコール溶媒は1:1の体積比で使用される、請求項3に記載の炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造方法。
- 前記段階(ii)で使用される架橋剤は、過酸化水素、ヨウ素及び硫黄からなる群から選ばれる、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造方法。
- 前記段階(ii)で、前記架橋剤は、前記石炭系ピッチ100質量部に対し0.5質量部〜5質量部の量で使用される、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造方法。
- 前記段階(ii)における粉砕溶解は、ボールミルを用いて行われる、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造方法。
- 前記段階(iii)における乾燥は、50℃〜200℃の温度で行われる、請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造方法。
- 前記段階(iv)で、前記アルコール溶媒が除去された混合物を常温に冷却後、平均粒子サイズ1000μm以下に粉砕する、請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の炭素−炭素複合材含浸用ピッチの製造方法。
