Abstract
【解決手段】タッチパネルは、第1基板及び第1基板と所定の間隔で離隔して配されており、ユーザ接触面を有する第2基板を含み、第1基板と第2基板との間の間隙には、流体が満たされている。タッチパネルに駆動電源が供給されれば、第1基板と第2基板との間には静電力が発生して、ユーザ接触面には、所定のパターンを有する入力ボタン領域が形成される。例えば、上部基板120aの一部領域が静電力によって陥没されれば、流体の移動でこの陥没領域の周辺で突出される領域が入力ボタン領域になりうる、そして、タッチパネルでは、ユーザから入力ボタン領域が加圧されることによって、その間隙の大きさが所定の臨界値以下に減少すれば、駆動電源が遮断される。

Claims (30)
- 第1基板及び前記第1基板と所定の間隔で離隔して配されており、ユーザ接触面を有する第2基板を含むタッチパネルにおいて、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間の間隙には、流体が満たされており、
駆動電源が供給されれば、前記流体の流動によって所定のパターンを有する入力ボタン領域が形成され、
ユーザによって前記入力ボタン領域が加圧されることによって、前記間隙の大きさが所定の臨界値以下に減少すれば、前記駆動電源が遮断されることを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 前記流体の流動は、
前記間隙の大きさが局部的に増減するように、前記第2基板の変形によってなされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記第2基板の変形は、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に局部的に発生する静電力によってなされることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記入力ボタン領域は、
前記間隙の大きさが減少する第1領域に取り囲まれ、前記間隙の大きさが増加する第2領域であることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記加圧された入力ボタン領域で生じる静電容量の変化を測定することによって、前記間隙の大きさが所定の臨界値以下に減少するかどうかを判断することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記駆動電源が遮断される時点で、前記加圧された入力ボタン領域に入力があると判定することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記加圧された入力ボタン領域で生じる前記間隙の大きさの変化を複数の段階に区分して、多段階の入力に伴う圧力変化を感知可能とすることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記流体は、
透明なインデックスマッチングオイルであることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。 - 第1基板及び前記第1基板と離隔して配されており、変形可能なユーザ接触面を有する第2基板を含む一対の基板と、
前記第1基板に形成されている第1電極と前記第2基板に形成されている第2電極とを含む複数の駆動電極と、
前記一対の基板間の間隙に満たされている流体を含む弾性層と、
を含むことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 前記第1電極と前記第2電極との間に加えられる駆動電圧によって、前記第2基板のユーザ接触面の一部の領域上に立体的な入力ボタン領域が形成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記入力ボタン領域は、
前記駆動電圧によって発生する静電力によって、前記一対の基板間の間隙の大きさが局部的に増減することを用いて形成されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のタッチパネル。 - ユーザの加圧によって、前記入力ボタン領域で前記間隙の大きさが所定の臨界値以下に減少すれば、前記加えられた駆動電圧を解除することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記入力ボタン領域で、前記一対の基板間の静電容量の変化をセンシングして、前記間隙の大きさが所定の臨界値以下に減少するかどうかを判断することを特徴とする請求項10〜12のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記駆動電圧が解除される時点で、前記加圧された入力ボタン領域に入力があると判定することを特徴とする請求項12または13に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記入力ボタン領域は、
前記静電力によって前記間隙の大きさが減少する第1領域に取り囲まれて、前記間隙の大きさが増加する第2領域であることを特徴とする請求項12〜14のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記入力ボタン領域は、
前記複数の駆動電極のうち、前記駆動電圧が加えられる駆動電極の組合せを変化させられることを特徴とする請求項9〜15に記載のタッチパネル。 - 第1基板と、
前記第1基板と所定の間隔で離隔して配されており、ユーザ接触面を有する変形可能な第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間の間隙に満たされている流体と、を含み、
前記ユーザ接触面は、駆動電源が供給されると、前記流体に局部的に所定の力が加えられて、前記間隙が減少する第1領域と前記第1領域から流体が流入されて、前記間隙が増加する第2領域とを含み、
前記第1領域と前記第2領域とを用いて、前記ユーザ接触面に入力ボタン領域が形成されることを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 前記第2領域は、
前記入力ボタン領域であることを特徴とする請求項17に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記タッチパネルは、前記第1基板に形成されている第1電極と前記第2基板に形成されている第2電極とを含む複数の駆動電極をさらに含み、
前記所定の力は、前記複数の駆動電極の全部または一部に前記駆動電源が供給されて発生する静電力であることを特徴とする請求項17または18に記載のタッチパネル。 - 前記駆動電源が維持された状態で、前記入力ボタン領域で所定の臨界値以上の圧力が感知されれば、前記駆動電源が遮断されることを特徴とする請求項17〜19のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記入力ボタン領域は、
ディスプレイに表示される入力ボタンと対応するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項17〜20のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル。 - 硬い第1基板と、
前記第1基板と所定の間隔で離隔して配されており、ユーザ接触面を有する変形可能な第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間の間隙に満たされている流体と、を含み、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に局部的に静電力が加えられると、前記静電力が加えられた領域の周辺領域で前記第2基板が局部的に突出される領域が入力ボタン領域にとして形成され、
前記入力ボタン領域で所定の臨界値以上の圧力が感知されると、前記静電力が解除されることを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 前記駆動電源が遮断される時点を前記入力ボタン領域にユーザからの入力があると判定することを特徴とする請求項22に記載のタッチパネル。
- 硬くて透明な下部基板と、
前記下部基板と所定の間隔で離隔して配されており、変形可能で透明な上部基板と、
前記第1基板に形成されている第1電極と前記第2基板に形成されている第2電極とを含む複数の駆動電極と、
前記上部基板と前記下部基板との間の間隙に分散配置された弾性体スぺーサと前記間隙に満たされている流体を含む弾性層と、を含み、
前記複数の駆動電極の全部または一部に駆動電圧を印加すると、前記駆動電圧が印加された駆動電極で発生する静電力により、前記上部基板が前記流体を局部的に圧迫することによって、前記静電力が加えられていない領域で前記上部基板が突出されることを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 突出される前記上部基板の領域が入力ボタン領域になることを特徴とする請求項24に記載のタッチパネル。
- 前記入力ボタン領域に所定の臨界値以上の圧力が感知されれば、前記印加された駆動電圧が解除されることを特徴とする請求項25に記載のタッチパネル。
- 第1基板及び前記第1基板と離隔して配されており、変形可能ユーザ接触面を有する第2基板を含む一対の基板と、
前記第1基板に形成されている第1電極と前記第2基板に形成されている第2電極とを含む複数の駆動電極と、
前記一対の基板間の間隙に満たされている流体を含む弾性層と、
前記複数の駆動電極の全部または一部に駆動電源を印加することにより制御する制御器と、を含み、
前記第2基板のユーザ接触面の一部の領域に入力ボタン領域が形成されることを特徴とする電子機器。 - 前記入力ボタン領域は、前記複数の駆動電極の全部または一部で発生する静電力によって、前記一対の基板間の間隙の大きさが局部的に増減することを用いて形成されることを特徴とする請求項27に記載の電子機器。
- ユーザの加圧によって前記入力ボタン領域で前記間隙の大きさが所定の臨界値以下に減少すれば、前記加えられた駆動電圧を解除することを特徴とする請求項28に記載の電子機器。
- 前記一対の基板、前記複数の駆動電極、及び前記流体は、いずれも透明な材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項27〜29のいずれか一項に記載の電子機器。
