Claims (12)
- 透明基板上に成膜した層に形成された格子を有し、前記格子は、断面形状が凹凸状でかつ、凸部上面が実質的に平坦であり、前記凸部が対称である回折素子において、
前記格子は、前記格子の１周期に占める、前記凸部上面の幅の割合が、前記凸部の底部の幅の割合以下であり、
前記凸部を構成する材料として前記透明基板よりも高屈折率の材料が用いられ、さらに、前記凸部上部のみに前記凸部の材料とは異なる１層以上の光学材料が積層されてなる低反射コーティングを有し、
前記格子の１周期が、入射する光の波長の０．５５〜１．４５倍の範囲にあり、かつ、前記光が格子形成面の法線に対して、１５°〜８０°までの角度で入射して、透過型として用いられる回折素子。 - 前記格子は、前記凸部の壁面と格子形成面の垂線とがなす角度で表されるテーパー角が３〜６°の範囲にある請求項１に記載の回折素子。
- 前記凸部の材料が、ＳｉＯ ２ 、ＴｉＯ ２ 、Ｔａ ２ Ｏ ５ 、Ｓｉ ３ Ｎ ４ 、Ｓｉからなる群より選ばれた１つを主成分とするかまたは、これらの混合物からなる請求項１または２に記載の回折素子。
- 前記光学材料が、ＴｉＯ ２ 、ＳｉＯ ２ 、Ｔａ ２ Ｏ ５ 、Ａｌ ２ Ｏ ３ から選ばれたものからなる請求項１から３いずれか１項に記載の回折素子。
- 前記光学材料は、１層のＳｉＯ ２ からなる請求項４に記載の回折素子。
- 請求項１から５いずれか１項に記載の回折素子の１つの面に、他の光学素子が積層され一体化されている回折素子。
- 入射する前記光は、１５２０から１６２０ｎｍの範囲である請求項１から６いずれか１項に記載の回折素子。
- 入射する前記光は、１５２０から１５７０ｎｍの範囲である請求項７に記載の回折素子。
- 透明基板上に成膜した層に形成された格子を有し、前記格子は、断面形状が凹凸状でかつ、凸部上面が実質的に平坦であり、前記凸部が対称であるとともに、前記格子の１周期に占める、前記凸部上面の幅の割合が、前記凸部の底部の幅の割合以下であり、
前記凸部を構成する材料として前記透明基板よりも高屈折率の材料が用いられ、さらに、前記凸部上部のみに低反射コーティングを有し、前記格子の１周期が入射する光の波長の０．５５〜１．４５倍の範囲にある回折素子の使用方法であって、
前記光が前記回折素子の格子形成面の法線に対して、１５°〜８０°までの角度で入射して、透過型として用いられる回折素子の使用方法。 - 入射する前記光と前記回折素子により生成される回折光とが、前記格子形成面に対してほぼ鏡像の関係にある請求項９に記載の回折素子の使用方法。
- 請求項１から８のいずれか１項に記載の回折素子が用いられている光学装置。
- 請求項１から８のいずれか１項に記載の回折素子が用いられている分光装置。
