Claims (15)
- 異なる出力及び容量を有する2つ又はそれ以上のユニットモジュールを含むモジュールアセンブリと、
電池パックの電流及び/又は電圧を検出し、検出電流信号及び/又は検出電圧信号を制御ユニットに伝送するための検出ユニットと、
前記検出ユニットから受け取った前記電流信号及び/又は前記電圧信号に基づき、前記モジュールアセンブリから最適なユニットモジュールを選択するための前記制御ユニットと、及び
前記制御ユニットの制御下において、前記モジュールアセンブリの特定のユニットモジュールを外部入力及び出力端子に電気的に接続するためのスイッチングユニットとを含む電池パック。 - それぞれの前記ユニットモジュールは、ユニットセルとしてニッケル−金属水素化物二次電池、ニッケル−カドミウム(Ni−Cd)二次電池、コンデンサ及び/又はリチウム二次電池を含む請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記モジュールアセンブリは、相対的に高出力且つ小容量ユニットモジュール及び相対的に低出力且つ大容量ユニットモジュールを含む請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記相対的に高出力且つ小容量ユニットモジュールは、ユニットセルとして超コンデンサ及び/又は二次電池を含む請求項3に記載の電池パック。
- 前記超コンデンサは、電気二重層コンデンサ及び/又は疑似キャパシタに基づき、前記二次電池は、リチウム二次電池である請求項4に記載の電池パック。
- 前記スイッチングユニットは、ソリッドステートリレー又は半導体リレーのような機械的リレースイッチ又は電気スイッチである請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記検出ユニットは、前記電池パックの電流及び/又は電圧を、即時に又は定期的に検出する請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記検出ユニットは、前記スイッチングユニットと前記外部入力及び出力端子との間に配置される電流検出ユニットである請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記検出ユニットは、2つの前記外部入力及び出力端子の間に配置される電圧検出ユニットである請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電流検出ユニット及び前記電圧検出ユニットの両方は、前記電池パック内に含まれる請求項8又は9に記載の電池パック。
- 前記制御ユニットは、バッテリーマネージメントシステム(BMS)内に含まれる請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記BMSは、前記それぞれのユニットモジュールの容量を検出するための電圧検出ユニットをさらに含む請求項11に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、電動自動車、ハイブリッド電動自動車、ロボット、電動自転車、又は電動スクーター用の電源として使用される請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 請求項1に記載の電池パックの操作方法であって、
外部デバイスの操作が開始された場合に、前記モジュールアセンブリの高出力且つ小容量ユニットモジュールが、前記外部入力及び出力端子に接続されるための、前記制御ユニットによる、前記スイッチングユニットの制御段階と、
前記検出ユニットによる、前記電池パックの電流及び/又は電圧の検出、及び前記制御ユニットへの検出信号の伝送段階と、並びに
前記検出信号から計算した値が、所定の臨界値よりも小さい場合に、低出力且つ大容量ユニットモジュールが、前記外部入力及び出力端子に接続されるための、前記制御ユニットによる、前記スイッチングユニットへの信号の伝送段階とを含む、操作方法。 - 操作された前記低出力且つ大容量ユニットモジュールの電圧が、所定の臨界値よりも小さい場合、前記高出力且つ小容量ユニットモジュールが、前記外部入力及び出力端子に接続されるための、前記制御ユニットによる、前記スイッチングユニットへの信号の伝送段階をさらに含む請求項14に記載の操作方法。
