Abstract
【解決手段】 ベースユニットは、建造物の壁面に埋め込まれ、建造物に予め配設された電力線と情報線の両方に接続される。複数の機能ユニットの各々は、ベースユニットとの接続時に、電力線からの電力の供給、情報線からの情報の出力、および情報線への情報の入力の少なくとも一つの機能を有する。ベースユニットは、連結部材の使用により機能ユニットの一つと着脱可能に接続され、それにより、ベースユニットから機能ユニットへの給電が電力伝送手段を介して行われるとともに、ベースユニットと機能ユニットとの間での信号伝送が信号伝送手段を介して確立される。

Claims (8)
- 建造物の壁面に埋め込まれ、前記建造物内に配設された電力線と情報線の両方に接続して使用されるベースユニットと、前記ベースユニットに接続される時、前記電力線からの電力の供給、前記情報線からの情報の出力、および前記情報線への情報の入力の少なくとも一つの機能を有する機能ユニットと、前記ベースユニットから機能ユニットに電力を供給するための送電手段と、前記ベースユニットと機能ユニットとの間の信号伝送を行うための信号伝送手段と、機能ユニットをベースユニットに着脱可能に連結するための連結手段とを具備することを特徴とするデュアル配線システム。
- 上記送電手段は、電磁結合の手法により非接触式にベースユニットから機能ユニットに給電することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデュアル配線システム。
- 上記信号伝送手段は、光結合の手法により非接触式にベースユニットと機能ユニットとの間で情報伝送を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデュアル配線システム。
- 上記ベースユニットおよび機能ユニットは、上記送電手段として、互いに着脱可能に接続され、電磁結合の手法により非接触式にベースユニットから機能ユニットに給電する一対の電力ポートと電力コネクタ、および信号伝送手段として、互いに着脱可能に接続され、光結合の手法により非接触式にベースユニットと機能ユニットとの間で情報伝送を行う一対の情報信号ポートと情報信号コネクタとを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデュアル配線システム。
- 上記ベースユニットは、壁面内に埋め込まれる背面部と、電気機器のコンセントが挿入される電源コンセントおよび電気機器をON/OFFするためのスイッチの少なくとも一つを有する正面部と、上記機能ユニットが壁面に沿う方向にベースユニットに着脱可能に接続されるように上記送電手段と信号伝送手段を有する側面部とを含むハウジングを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデュアル配線システム。
- 上記ベースユニットは、電力線と情報線に接続される端子を設けた背面部と、上記送電手段と信号伝送手段を有する正面部とを含むハウジングを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデュアル配線システム。
- 上記ベースユニットは、上記連結手段の使用により機能ユニットに着脱可能に接続されるメインハウジングと、上記電力線と情報線に接続可能な端子を有するゲートハウジングとで構成され、前記メインハウジングとゲートハウジングは、互いに着脱可能に接続され、ゲートハウジングからメインハウジングへの給電と、ゲートハウジングとメインハウジングとの間での情報伝送の両方を同時に確立する一対のモジュールポートとモジュールコネクタを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデュアル配線システム。
- 上記連結手段は、ベースユニットおよび機能ユニット上に設けられる係止部と、前記係止部上に摺動可能に接触する連結部材を含み、連結部材のある領域がベースユニットの係止部に係止され、連結部材の残りの領域が機能ユニットの係止部に係止されてベースユニットおよび機能ユニットの間に機械的接合を形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデュアル配線システム。
