Abstract
【解決手段】停車中に要求パワーPe*が閾値Pref2以上のときには(S110,S260)、比較的低い下限回転数Nemin2以上の回転数を目標回転数Ne*に設定すると共に(S290)、走行のためにエンジンを運転する際に比して進角側への変更程度が小さくなるよう目標回転数Ne*に基づいて目標タイミングVT*を設定し(S300)、目標タイミングVT*での吸気バルブの開閉を伴って目標回転数Ne*でエンジンを運転する。これにより、停車中に、エンジンが比較的高い回転数で運転されることによる違和感を運転者に与えるのを抑制できる。また、エンジンの運転状態に応じて吸気バルブの開閉タイミングをより適正なものにでき、可変バルブタイミング機構をより適正に制御できる。

Description
走行用の動力を出力可能で、走行状態に拘わらず任意の運転ポイントで運転可能な内燃機関と、
該内燃機関の出力軸の回転により供給される作動流体を用いて該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉タイミングを変更可能な開閉タイミング変更手段と、
走行のために前記内燃機関の運転要求がなされている走行用運転要求時には第1の制約に基づく開閉タイミングでの該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉を伴って該内燃機関が第1の回転数以上の回転数で運転されるよう該開閉タイミング変更手段と該内燃機関とを制御し、停車中に前記内燃機関の運転要求がなされている停車運転要求時には基準タイミングからの変更程度が前記第1の制約よりも小さくなる第2の制約に基づく開閉タイミングでの該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉を伴って該内燃機関が前記第1の回転数より低い第2の回転数以上の回転数で運転されるよう該開閉タイミング変更手段と該内燃機関とを制御する制御手段と、
を備えることを要旨とする。

走行のために前記内燃機関の運転要求がなされている走行用運転要求時には第1の制約に基づく開閉タイミングでの該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉を伴って該内燃機関が第1の回転数以上の回転数で運転されるよう該開閉タイミング変更手段と該内燃機関とを制御し、停車中に前記内燃機関の運転要求がなされている停車運転要求時には基準タイミングからの変更程度が前記第1の制約よりも小さくなる第2の制約に基づく開閉タイミングでの該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉を伴って該内燃機関が前記第1の回転数より低い第2の回転数以上の回転数で運転されるよう該開閉タイミング変更手段と該内燃機関とを制御する、
ことを要旨とする。

Claims (11)
- 走行用の動力を出力可能で、走行状態に拘わらず任意の運転ポイントで運転可能な内燃機関と、
該内燃機関の出力軸の回転により供給される作動流体を用いて該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉タイミングを変更可能な開閉タイミング変更手段と、
走行のために前記内燃機関の運転要求がなされている走行用運転要求時には第1の制約に基づく開閉タイミングでの該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉を伴って該内燃機関が第1の回転数以上の回転数で運転されるよう該開閉タイミング変更手段と該内燃機関とを制御し、停車中に前記内燃機関の運転要求がなされている停車運転要求時には基準タイミングからの変更程度が前記第1の制約よりも小さくなる第2の制約に基づく開閉タイミングでの該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉を伴って該内燃機関が前記第1の回転数より低い第2の回転数以上の回転数で運転されるよう該開閉タイミング変更手段と該内燃機関とを制御する制御手段と、
を備える車両。 - 前記制御手段は、前記走行用運転要求時には前記内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉タイミングの変更に要する前記作動流体を前記開閉タイミング変更手段に供給できる回転数を前記第1の回転数として制御し、前記停車運転要求時には前記内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉タイミングの変更に要する前記作動流体を前記開閉タイミング変更手段に供給できない回転数を前記第2の回転数として制御する手段である請求項1記載の車両。
- 前記制御手段は、前記走行用運転要求時には、前記内燃機関を効率よく運転するための制約を前記第1の制約として制御する手段である請求項1または2記載の車両。
- 請求項1ないし3いずれか記載の車両であって、
前記開閉タイミング変更手段は、前記吸気バルブの開閉タイミングを変更可能であって、該吸気バルブの開閉タイミングが取り得る範囲内の最遅角側の第1所定タイミングに該吸気バルブの開閉タイミングが位置したときに該吸気バルブの開閉タイミングを固定可能であると共に該吸気バルブの開閉タイミングが固定されているときには前記作動流体を用いて該固定を解除可能である固定解除手段を備える手段であり、
前記制御手段は、前記第1所定タイミングを前記基準タイミングとして制御する手段である
車両。 - 請求項1ないし3いずれか記載の車両であって、
前記開閉タイミング変更手段は、前記排気バルブの開閉タイミングを変更可能であって、該排気バルブの開閉タイミングが取り得る範囲内の最進角側の第2所定タイミングに該排気バルブの開閉タイミングが位置したときに該排気バルブの開閉タイミングを固定可能であると共に該排気バルブの開閉タイミングが固定されているときには前記作動流体を用いて該固定を解除可能である固定解除手段を備える手段であり、
前記制御手段は、前記第2所定タイミングを前記基準タイミングとして制御する手段である
車両。 - 前記制御手段は、前記開閉タイミング変更手段において前記作動流体を用いないときの前記内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉タイミングを前記基準タイミングとして制御する手段である請求項1ないし3いずれか記載の車両。
- 請求項1ないし6いずれか記載の車両であって、
前記第1の回転数を下限回転数とする前記内燃機関の運転ポイントと該内燃機関の動力との関係としての第1の動作ラインと、前記第2の回転数を下限回転数とする前記内燃機関の運転ポイントと該内燃機関の動力との関係としての第2の動作ラインと、を含む複数の動作ラインを記憶する動作ライン記憶手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記走行用運転要求時には前記記憶された第1の動作ラインと前記内燃機関に要求される要求動力とに基づいて該内燃機関の運転ポイントを設定すると共に該設定した運転ポイントで該内燃機関が運転されるよう制御し、前記停車運転要求時には前記記憶された第2の動作ラインと前記内燃機関に要求される要求動力とに基づいて該内燃機関の運転ポイントを設定すると共に該設定した運転ポイントで該内燃機関が運転されるよう制御する手段である
車両。 - 前記制御手段は、前記停車運転要求時には、前記設定した内燃機関の運転ポイントにおける目標回転数が大きいほど前記基準タイミングからの変更程度が滑らかに大きくなる制約を前記第2の制約として制御する手段である請求項7記載の車両。
- 請求項1ないし8いずれか記載の車両であって、
前記内燃機関の出力軸に動力を入出力可能な発電手段と、
前記発電手段と電力をやりとり可能な蓄電手段と、
を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記停車中に前記蓄電手段への充電要求がなされたときを前記停車運転要求時として制御する手段である
車両。 - 請求項9記載の車両であって、
車軸側に動力を入出力可能な電動機を備え、
前記発電手段は、前記内燃機関の出力軸と車軸側とに接続され、電力と動力の入出力を伴って該内燃機関からの動力の少なくとも一部を該車軸側に出力する電力動力入出力手段である
車両。 - 走行用の動力を出力可能で、走行状態に拘わらず任意の運転ポイントで運転可能な内燃機関と、該内燃機関の出力軸の回転により供給される作動流体を用いて該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉タイミングを変更可能な開閉タイミング変更手段と、を備える車両の制御方法であって、
走行のために前記内燃機関の運転要求がなされている走行用運転要求時には第1の制約に基づく開閉タイミングでの該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉を伴って該内燃機関が第1の回転数以上の回転数で運転されるよう該開閉タイミング変更手段と該内燃機関とを制御し、停車中に前記内燃機関の運転要求がなされている停車運転要求時には基準タイミングからの変更程度が前記第1の制約よりも小さくなる第2の制約に基づく開閉タイミングでの該内燃機関の吸気バルブおよび/または排気バルブの開閉を伴って該内燃機関が前記第1の回転数より低い第2の回転数以上の回転数で運転されるよう該開閉タイミング変更手段と該内燃機関とを制御する、
