Abstract
Description
本発明は、エアゾール缶に関し、より具体的には、アルミニウムから作られたエアゾール缶に関する。
従来、飲料用缶は、アルミニウムコイル材から円板を作製し、該円板が飲料用缶に加工される。これらの缶の側面の厚さは、約0.13mmである。一般的に、飲料用缶の本体部は、上面以外は、一体である。
本発明は、アルミニウム合金コイル材より得た円板からアルミニウム製エアゾール缶を作製しネック成形するための方法に関するものであり、この方法は、とりわけ、缶がネック成形ダイに付着されるのを防止できるように設計されている。さらに、この発明は、アルミニウム缶自体に関するもので、本発明の缶は、独特の形状を有し、3000系アルミニウム合金から作られる。
本発明の理解及び実施を容易にするために、図面を参照して説明するが、図面は単なる例示であって、発明を限定するものでない。
説明を容易にするために、本発明を、絞り(drawn)としごき(ironed)によるアルミニウム製エアゾール缶の作製とネック成形に関して説明するが、本発明の適用は、そのような缶に限定されるものではないことは理解されるべきである。本発明は、他の種類のアルミニウム、アルミニウムボトル、金属容器及び形状のものをネック成形する方法にも適用することができる。説明の便宜上、明細書の全体を通じて、「エアゾール缶(aerosol can)」という語を使用しているが、缶だけでなく、エアゾールボトル、エアゾール容器、非エアゾールボトル及び非エアゾール容器を意味することは理解されるべきである。
Claims (16)
- 上端部(14)及び下端部(16)を有する壁部(12)と、該壁部(12)の下端部(16)から延びて、所定の形状を有する底部(20)とを具えるアルミニウム缶であって、缶は3000系アルミニウムから形成され、上端部(14)は予め規定された形状の肩部とネック(19)を有することを特徴とするアルミニウム缶。
- 予め規定された形状の肩部は、テーパ状の肩部、丸い肩部、平らな肩部又は楕円曲面の肩部である請求項1のアルミニウム缶。
- 缶は、高さ100〜200mm、直径45〜66mmである請求項1のアルミニウム缶。
- ネックは、エアゾール分配装置を受け入れることができるように作られている請求項1のアルミニウム缶。
- 底部の形状は、底部の周囲に形成されたU字形状部と、底部の残部に形成されたドーム形状部を含んでいる請求項1のアルミニウム缶。
- 底部のドーム形状部はリンクルフリーである請求項5のアルミニウム缶。
- 略垂直な壁部の厚さは約0.21mmであり、底部のU字形状部の厚さは約0.51mmである請求項5のアルミニウム缶。
- 3000系アルミニウムから作られるアルミニウム缶の肩部形状を成形する方法であって、30以上の異なるネック成形ダイで缶を加工することを含んでいる方法。
- 加工は、後部の角度が0o30'0"の第1のネック成形ダイで、缶をネック成形することを含んでいる請求項8の方法。
- 加工は、後部の角度が3oの第2のネック成形ダイで、缶をネック成形することを含んでいる請求項9の方法。
- 加工は、後部の角度が3oの第3のネック成形ダイで、缶をネック成形することを含んでいる請求項10の方法。
- 加工は、後部の角度が3oの第4のネック成形ダイで、缶をネック成形することを含んでいる請求項11の方法。
- 加工は、非移動のセンターガイドを有する一連の14個のネック成形ダイで、缶をネック成形することを含んでいる請求項8の方法。
- 各々のダイから缶を容易に取り外すことができるように、最初の14個のダイに圧縮空気を使用することを含んでいる請求項8の方法。
- ネック成形ダイの各々は、缶の当初の垂直な側壁から、約0o30'0"〜3"のテーパ角度を有する請求項8の方法。
- ネック成形ダイは2つの環状経路に配置されている請求項8の方法。
