Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.環を形成するために共に結合されるm単位の式(Ia)およびn単位の式(Ib) を含有する環状化合物: ここで、Yは、各単位において、同一または異なり得る二価架橋基である;R0は 、H、または1個〜6個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基である;R5は、H、または 1個〜60個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基である;jは、1または2である;R3 は、水素、ヒドロカルビル基またはヘテロ置換ヒドロカルビル基である;R1は、 ヒドロキシルであり、そしてR2およびR4は、独立して、水素、ヒドロカルビルま たはヘテロ置換ヒドロカルビルのいずれかであるか、またはR2およびR4は、ヒド ロキシルであり、そしてR1は、水素、ヒドロカルビルまたはヘテロ置換ヒドロカ ルビルのいずれかであるかの、いずれかである;mは、1〜8である;n は、少なくとも3である;そしてm+nは、4〜20である。 2.Yが、(CHR6)dであり、ここで、R6が、水素またはヒドロカルビルのいずれ かであり、そしてdが、少なくとも1である整数である、請求項1に記載の化合 物。 3.R1が、ヒドロキシルである;R2およびR4が、独立して、水素、ヒドロカル ビルまたはヘテロ置換ヒドロカルビルのいずれかである;R3が、ヒドロカルビル またはヘテロ置換ヒドロカルビルのいずれかである;R0が、Hである;そしてR5 が、Hである、請求項1に記載の化合物。 4.dが、1〜4である、請求項2に記載の化合物。 5.m+nが、8〜12であり、そしてmが、1または2である、請求項1に記 載の化合物。 6.R3が、ドデシルまたはオクタデシルである、請求項1に記載の化合物。 7.R0が、Hである;R1が、ヒドロキシルである;R2およびR4が、Hである;R3 が、ドデシルである;R5およびR6が、Hである;jが、1である;mが、1また は2である;nが、6または7である;そしてm+nが、8である、請求項2に 記載の化合物。 8.請求項1に記載の化合物の金属塩であって、ここで、該金属塩の金属部分 は、アルカリ金属またはアルカリ土類金属のいずれかである。 9.請求項1に記載の化合物の金属塩を含有する組成物であって、ここで、該 組成物のTBNは、200〜500mg KOH/gである。 10.潤滑油、および請求項1に記載の化合物または該化合物の金属塩を含有 する組成物。 11.少量の請求項1に記載の化合物または該化合物の金属塩、および主要量 の潤滑油を含有する仕上げ潤滑油組成物。 12.さらに、残留オイル含量を有する燃料油の汚染量を含有する、請求項1 1に記載の仕上げ潤滑油組成物。 13.低速または中速ディーゼルエンジン中のブラックペイントおよび/また は堆積物を低減する方法であって、該方法は、該エンジンを、請求項11に記載 の仕上げ潤滑油組成物で潤滑させる工程を包含する。 14.主要量のディーゼル燃料またはガソリンおよび少量の請求項1に記載の 化合物または該化合物の金属塩を含有する燃料組成物。 15.以下の工程を包含する、環状化合物を製造する方法: 溶媒中で、塩基性触媒の存在下にて、以下の式(IIa)および式(IIb)の化合物: と、式0=CHR6のアルデヒド、および必要に応じて、イオウとを共に反応させる 工程:ここで、R0は、H、または1個〜6個の炭索原子を有するアルキル基であ る;R5は、H、または1個〜20個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基である;jは、 1または2である;R3は、水素、ヒドロカルビル基またはヘテロ置換ヒドロカル ビル基である;R1は、ヒドロキシルであり、そしてR2およびR4は、独立して、水 素、ヒドロカルビルまたはヘテロ置換ヒドロカルビルのいずれかであるか、また はR2およびR4は、ヒドロキシルであり、そしてR1は、水素、ヒドロカルビルまた はヘテロ置換ヒドロカルビルのいずれかであるかの、いずれかである;該溶媒は 、該反応溶液の少なくとも50重量%を構成する;式(IIa)により表わされる化合 物のモル単位数は、mであり、式(IIb)により表わされる化合物のモル単位数は 、nであり、ここで、mは、1〜8であり、nは、少なくとも3であり、そして m+nは、4〜20である。 16.金属塩を製造する方法であって、該方法は、以下の工程を包含する: (I)成分(A)および(C)の混合物を形成する工程; 成分(A)は、請求項1に記載の化合物を含有する; 成分(C)は、成分(C1)または(C2)のいずれかを含む溶媒を含有する; 成分(C1)は、(i)2個〜4個の炭素原子を有する多価アルコール、(ii)ジ-(C3 またはC4)グリコール、(iii)トリ-(C2〜C4)グリコールまたは(iv)次式のモノ-ま たはポリ-アルキレングリコールアルキルエーテルのいずれかを含有する: R9(OR10)fOR11 (IV) ここで、式(IV)では、R9は、C1〜C6アルキル基であり、R10は、1個〜6個の炭 素原子を有するアルキレン基であり、R11は、水素またはC1〜C8アルキル基であ り、そしてfは、1〜6の整数である; 成分(C2)は、炭化水素溶媒と組み合わせたC1〜C4一価アルコールを含有する ;そして (II)成分(A)および(C)の該混合物に、金属塩基(B)を添加する工程であって、( A)および(C)の該混合物への該金属塩基(B)の添加は、単一の添加または複数の添 加であり、工程(I)および(II)は、同時または順次に行われる。 17.以下の追加工程を包含する、請求項16に記載の方法: (III)成分(B)の各添加に引き続いて、成分(A)、(B)および(C)の前記混合物に 、(D)二酸化炭素を添加する工程。 18.成分(C1)が、さらに、以下を包含する、請求項16に記載の方法:(a) 炭化水素溶媒;または(b)(i)水、(ii)C1〜C20一価アルコール、(iii)20個までの 炭素原子を有するケトン、(iv)10個までの炭素原子を有するカルボン酸エステル 、または(v)20個までの炭素原子を有する脂肪族、脂環式または芳香族エーテル 、または(i)〜(v)の2種以上の混合物。 19.工程(I)、(II)または(III)の間、または前述の工程のいずれかの前ま たは後において、成分(E)が反応混合物に添加され、成分(E)が以下のいずれかで ある、請求項17に記載の方法:(i)6個〜100個の炭素原子を含有するカルボン 酸またはそれらの無水物;(ii)36個〜100個の炭素原子を含有するジ-またはポリ カルボン酸またはそれらの無水物;(iii)ヒドロカルビル置換スルホン酸または それらの無水物;(v)ヒドロカルビル置換ナフテン酸またはそれらの無水物;(vi )ヒドロカルビル置換フェノール;または(vii)(i)〜(vi)の2種以上の混合物。 20.15℃〜200℃の範囲の温度で行われる、請求項16に記載の方法。 21.(A)と(C)との重量比が、(C)100部あたり、10〜65部の範囲の(A)である 、請求項16に記載の方法。 22.成分(B)と成分(A)とのモル当量比が、(A)1モル当量あたり、0.05〜20 モル当量の(B)である、請求項16に記載の方法。 23.(B)中の金属のモル数と(D)中の二酸化炭素のモル数との比が、(D)中の 二酸化炭素1モルあたり、0.3〜1.6モルの(B)中の金属である、請求項17に記 載の方法。 24.成分(E)の量が、成分(A)、(B)、(C)、(D)および(E)を合わせた重量を基 準にして、40重量%までである、請求項19に記載の方法。
