Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ビデオ再生システムであって、 (a)再生モード、高速スキャン・モード、および逆戻しモードを有するビデ オ・プレーヤと、 (b)録画されたビデオ信号を有する、前記ビデオ・プレーヤに挿入する録画 媒体と、 (c)前記ビデオ・プレーヤに前記高速スキャン・モードに入るよう命令する 手段と、 (d)前記ビデオ信号内のイベントを検出するイベント検出手段と、 (e)検出されたイベントの後に別のイベントが所定の時間内に続かないこと を判定するタイマ手段と、 (f)前記タイマ手段に応答して、所定の時間内に別のイベントが続かない前 記検出されたイベントに対応する前記録画媒体上の位置に到達するまで前記ビデ オ・プレーヤに前記逆戻りモードに入るよう命令する手段と、 を備えることを特徴とするシステム。 2.前記録画媒体がビデオ・テープであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシ ステム。 3.前記録画媒体が光ディスクであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステ ム。 4.前記録画媒体が磁気ディスクであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシス テム。 5.前記ビデオ・プレーヤに前記高速スキャン・モードに入るように命令する前 記手段が手動制御を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 6.ビデオ再生システムであって、 (a)再生モード、高速スキャン・モード、および逆戻しモードを有するビデ オ・プレーヤと、 (b)録画されたビデオ信号を有する、前記ビデオ・プレーヤに挿入する録画 媒体と、 (c)前記ビデオ・プレーヤに前記高速スキャン・モードに入るように命令す る手段と、 (d)前記ビデオ信号内のイベントを検出するイベント検出手段と、 (e)最も最近検出されたイベントの前記録画媒体上の位置を識別するデータ を保存するための記憶手段と、 (f)最も最近検出されたイベントの前記録画媒体上の前記位置に到達するま で前記ビデオ・プレーヤに前記逆戻りモードに入るように命令する手段と を備えることを特徴とするシステム。 7.前記ビデオ・プレーヤに前記逆戻りモードに入るよう命令する前記手段が手 動制御を備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のシステム。 8.前記ビデオ・プレーヤに前記逆戻りモードに入るよう命令する前記手段が前 記最も最近検出されたイベントにより初期化されるタイマを備えることを特徴と する請求項6に記載のシステム。 9.前記録画媒体がビデオ・テープであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のシ ステム。 10.前記録画媒体が光ディスクであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のシス テム。 11.前記録画媒体が磁気ディスクであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のシ ステム。 12.前記ビデオ・プレーヤに前記高速スキャン・モードに入るよう命令する前 記手段が手動制御を備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のシステム。 13.録画された番組を含むビデオ信号を有するビデオ・テープでプログラム部 分の先頭を指示する方法であって、 (a)前記ビデオ・テープを通常の再生速度より速い速度で進めるステップと 、 (b)前記ビデオ・テープがその中のイベントを検出するために進められてい るときに前記ビデオ信号を監視するステップと、 (c)プログラム部分の前記先頭に関連するイベントを識別するために前記検 出されたイベントを分析するステップと、 (d)プログラム部分の前記先頭に関連する前記イベントに対応する位置まで 前記ビデオ・テープを逆戻しするステップと、 (e)プログラム部分の前記先頭で前記ビデオ・テープの通常の再生を再開す るステップと を含むことを特徴とする方法。 14.録画された番組を含むビデオ信号を有するビデオ録画媒体でプログラム部 分の先頭を指示する方法であって、 (a)前記録画されたビデオ信号を通常の再生速度より速い速度で進めるステ ップと、 (b)前記ビデオ信号がその中のイベントを検出するために進められていると きに前記ビデオ信号を監視するステップと、 (c)所定の時間内に後に続くイベントを有さないイベントを識別するために 前記検出されたイベントを分析するステップと、 (d)所定の時間内に後に続くイベントを有さない前記イベントに対応する前 記ビデオ録画媒体上の位置で前記ビデオ信号の通常の再生を開始するステップと を含むことを特徴とする方法。
