Abstract
Un dispositivo per il mantenimento del vuoto in intercapedini termicamente isolanti comprende un contenitore (11; 21) aperto superiormente, realizzato in un materiale impermeabile ai gas, preferibilmente alluminio, con una prima compressa (13; 23) sul fondo ed una seconda compressa (15; 24) disposta nella parte superiore del contenitore, in modo da coprire completamente la prima compressa (13; 23). La prima compressa è ottenuta da polveri di una lega getter Ba-Li e la seconda compressa (15; 24) e ottenuta da polveri di un materiale essiccante, contenente opzionalmente anche l'ossido di un metallo nobile ed un materiale che evita l'impaccamento dell'essiccante. Viene descritto inoltre un procedimento per la produzione di tale dispositivo secondo il quale detta prima compressa di lega Ba-Li può essere ottenuta "in situ" per compressione di polveri di detta lega all'interno del contenitore. Il bordo superiore di quest'ultimo viene infine deformato verso l'interno, così da fermare nella loro posizione le compresse.
