Procedimientos generales para la preparación de mezclas de caucho y sus vulcanizados se describen, por ejemplo, en: “Rubber Technology Handbook”, W. Hofmann, Editorial Hanser 1994.
El tiempo de vulcanización a 165ºC se eleva a 16 minutos para los cuerpos de prueba en el Ejemplo 1, y para el mismo, en el Ejemplo 2, a 30 minutos.

En el caso del polímero VSL 5025-1 se trata de un copolímero SBR, polimerizado en disolución, de Bayer AG con un contenido en estireno de 25% en peso y un contenido en butadieno de 75% en peso. El butadieno está enlazado un 73% 1,2, un 10% cis 1,4 y un 17% trans 1,4. El copolímero contiene 37,5 phr de aceite y presenta una viscosidad
10 Mooney (ML 1+4/100ºC) de 50±5.
En el caso del polímero Buna CB 24 se trata de un polibutadieno cis 1,4 (tipo neodima) de Bayer AG con un contenido en cis 1,4 de 97%, un contenido en trans 1,4 de 2%, un contenido en 1,2 de 1% y una viscosidad Money entre 39 y 49.
El ácido silícico VN3 de Degussa AG posee una superficie BET de 175 m2/g. TESPD (bis-(3-[trietoxisilil]
15 propil)disulfano) del Ejemplo de referencia 1 se prepara de acuerdo con la patente D 195 414 04. El silano del Ejemplo 2, bis-(3-[dimetiletoxisilil]-propil)disulfano, se prepara según el estado de la técnica mediante hidrosililación de clorodimetilsilano con cloruro de alilo, seguida de etanolisis y azufrado de forma análoga al procedimiento indicado en la patente D 197 342 95 A1.
Como aceite aromático se utiliza Naftolen ZD de Chemetall. En el caso de Vulkanox 4020 se trata de PPD de Bayer
20 AG y el protector G35P es una cera protectora de ozono de HB-Fuller GMBH. Vulkacit D (DPG) y Vulkacit CZ (CBS) son productos comerciales de Bayer AG. Perkacit TBZTD es un producto comercial de Flexis S.A.
El análisis técnico de caucho se realiza de acuerdo con los métodos de análisis mencionados en la Tabla 2.

La realización de los Ejemplos 1 (ejemplo comparativo) y 2 se efectúa según la prescripción general de ejecución.
5 A diferencia del ejemplo comparativo 1, con 5,8 phr de TESPD, se añaden a la mezcla 4,3 phr de bis-(3[dimetiletoxisilil]-propil)disulfano en el Ejemplo 2, lo cual corresponde a una dosificación equimolar. Se producen los siguientes datos técnicos de caucho para mezclas brutas y vulcanizados (Tabla 3):

Los datos de la Tabla 3 confirman que no se registra ningún empeoramiento de las características técnicas del caucho debido a la utilización del dimetiletoxisilano de acuerdo con la invención (Ej. 2), frente a la utilización del trietoxisilano según el estado de la técnica (Ej. 1). Es más, incluso se reconoce una ventaja por el descenso del valor de tan δ (60ºC), el cual se correlaciona con la resistencia al enrollamiento.
