Claims (24)
- Verfahren zum Vorbereiten von Glaszuschnitten für die weitere Handhabung, insbesondere für das Herstellen von Isolierglasscheiben, wobei beide Kanten jedes Randes eines Glaszuschnittes zum Entfernen von Graten u. dgl. gleichzeitig mit Hilfe von Bearbeitungswerkzeugen mit je zwei Bandschleifern mit endlosen Schleifbändern bearbeitet werden, wobei sich die Ebenen, in welchen sich die an den Kanten der Ränder eines Glaszuschnittes angreifenden Trume der Schleifbänder laufen, im Bereich der Ebene eines Glaszuschnittes kreuzen, und wobei alle Ränder eines Glaszuschnittes bearbeitet werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass nacheinander alle Ränder eines Glaszuschnittes, der lotrecht oder im wesentlichen lotrecht orientiert ist, im Bereich ihrer Kanten durch ein Bearbeitungswerkzeug mit zwei Bandschleifern mit endlosen Schleifbändern bearbeitet werden und dass zunächst die Kanten des unteren horizontalen Randes, dann die Kanten eines ersten lotrechten Randes, weiters die Kanten des oberen horizontalen Randes und schließlich die Kanten des weiteren lotrechten Randes des Glaszuschnittes besäumt werden, wobei die lotrechten Ränder bei stillstehendem Glaszuschnitt und die horizontalen Ränder bei sich bewegendem Glaszuschnitt bearbeitet werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die an den Kanten angreifenden Trume der Schleifbänder in Bewegungsrichtung dieser Trume der Schleifbänder gesehen vor den Stellen, in welchen sie an den Rändern eines Glaszuschnittes angreifen, auf einander zu bewegen.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am Beginn des Bewegens eines Glaszuschnittes relativ zu dem Bearbeitungswerkzeug die Geschwindigkeit, mit der die Schleifbänder bewegt werden, und/oder der Druck, mit dem die Schleifbänder gegen die Kanten eines Randes eines Glaszuschnittes gedrückt werden, erhöht wird, während die Relativgeschwindigkeit der Bewegung des Glaszuschnittes relativ zu dem Bearbeitungswerkzeug vergrößert wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am Ende des Bewegens eines Glaszuschnittes relativ zu dem Bearbeitungswerkzeug die Geschwindigkeit, mit der die Schleifbänder bewegt werden, und/oder der Druck, mit dem die Schleifbänder an die Kanten eines Randes eines Glaszuschnittes gedrückt werden, verkleinert wird, während die Relativgeschwindigkeit der Bewegung des Glaszuschnittes relativ zu dem Bearbeitungswerkzeug abnimmt.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Schleifbänder Diamantschleifbänder oder Siliziumkarbid-Schleifbänder verwendet werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass den Diamantschleifbändern eine Flüssigkeit zum Spülen und/oder Kühlen in dem Bereich zugeführt wird, in dem die Schleifbänder an den Kanten der Ränder eines Glaszuschnittes angreifen.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Spül- und/oder Kühlflüssigkeit Wasser verwendet wird.
- Vorrichtung zum Besäumen der Ränder von Glaszuschnitten, wobei eine Fördervorrichtung (4, 62) vorgesehen ist, um Glaszuschnitte (3) an einem Bearbeitungswerkzeug (64) mit einem Paar von Bandschleifern (10, 12) mit Schleifbändern (26) horizontal vorbeizubewegen, und die an dem Glaszuschnitt (3) angreifenden Trume der Schleifbänder (26) des Bandschleifers (10, 12) mit der Ebene des zu bearbeitenden Glaszuschnittes (3) spitze Winkel einschließen und in einander im Bereich des Randes des Glaszuschnittes (3) kreuzenden Ebenen verlaufen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zum Ausführen des Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7 eine Stützwand (2) zur lotrechten oder im Wesentlichen lotrechten Orientierung des Glaszuschnittes (3) vorgesehen ist, und dass das Bearbeitungswerkzeug (64) mit dem Paar von Bandschleifern (10, 12) mit Schleifbändern (26) im Maschinengestell (1) um eine zur Ebene des Glaszuschnittes (3) senkrechte Achse verdrehbar und parallel zur Ebene des Glaszuschnittes (3) auf und ab verstellbar gehaltert ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bandschleifer (10, 12) verschwenkbar gelagert sind und durch einen Motor (32, 34), vorzugsweise einen Druckmittelmotor, in eine Wirklage verschwenkbar sind, in der ihre Schleifbänder (26) an dem zu bearbeitenden Rand des Glaszuschnittes (3) angreifen.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 8 oder 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Druck, mit dem die Schleifbänder (26) an den Rand des Glaszuschnittes (3) angelegt sind, einstellbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Geschwindigkeit, mit der die Schleifbänder (26) bewegt werden, einstellbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die Schleifbänder (26) auf den Kreuzungsbereich, in dem der zu bearbeitende Rand des Glaszuschnittes (3) angeordnet ist, zu bewegen.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass den Bandschleifern (10, 12) Düsenanordnungen (95) zugeordnet sind, aus denen eine das Besäumen der Kanten der Ränder des Glaszuschnittes (3) unterstützende Flüssigkeit beaufschlagt sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Düsen der Düsenanordnung (95) in Richtung der Bewegung der ihnen benachbarten Trume der Schleifbänder (26) der Bandschleifer (10, 12) ausgerichtet sind.

- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 17 oder 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an dem Bearbeitungswerkzeug (64) an den Rändern von Glaszuschnitten (3) anliegende Führungsrollen (75) vorgesehen sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Führungsrollen (75) an Trägern (76) um horizontale Achsen frei drehbar gelagert sind, wobei die Träger quer zur Ebene der Glaszuschnitte (3) verstellbar sind.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vorrichtung mit einem Gehäuse (60) ausgestattet ist, in dem das Bearbeitungswerkzeug (64, 70, 71) und die Fördereinrichtung (61) für die Glaszuschnitte (3) angeordnet ist.

- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 23, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Endlosförderglieder (106) mit den Reibungsschluß an den Glaszuschnitten (3) erhöhenden Druckbacken versehen sind.
