Definitions

  • the invention relates to an automatically operating device, cable band and Vemegelungssch for bundling cable harnesses according to the preamble of claim 1 and a working method for this device according to claim 11.
  • Such a device is known from EP-A-0297 337.
  • the device has several disadvantages.
  • the intermittent supply of chain-like interconnected by locks locks locks takes place via a connected to the operating lever, mechanical drive from below, ie against gravity, in a provisional position in which he from a horizontally movable carriage, which also has a guide channel for the supply of the continuous cable band, and finally in an outlet opening of Device and in front of the guide channel for the cable band to be positioned. Since the first positioning of the individual locking lock in front of the carriage against the force of gravity is uncertain, especially since it lacks a defined stop, a trouble-free sequence of subsequent steps is not guaranteed.
  • the cable band has on its one surface two parallel but mutually opposing teeth.
  • the substantially cube-shaped locking locks have a through opening, from which opposite surfaces protrude rectified locking tongues, which have over their respective half width and laterally offset, rectified locking teeth, which can come into engagement with the teeth of the cable tie.
  • the cable band is pushed by motor before and through the opening in the lock lock through; its end slides along the chiefsbakken closed around a cable bundle until it completely wraps around the cable bundle and again reaches the locking lock and now must be guided in the opposite direction through the opening of the locking lock, wherein the locking tongues engage with the opposing teeth of the cable band should. Thereafter, by reversing the drive, the cable band is tightened until the looped cable bundle is firmly embraced and the rearwardly projecting out of the locking lock ends are cut off.
  • the cable band must wrap around the cable bundle by 360 ° and its end must then be returned sharply angled into the opening of the locking lock. This bend must be accomplished only by the fact that the cable band with its front end after the wrapping process in the blunt or right angle before the opening of the locking lock meets on itself and the end is deflected so that it slides into this opening.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a device, cable and locking lock of the type mentioned, which works absolutely trouble-free, safe and time-saving; after wrapping a cable bundle with the cable tie and tightening this band secure engagement of the locking tabs must be ensured in the lock with the cable tie, which may not loosen or even solve after cutting the cable tie behind the lock lock. Waste of cable tape should be avoided.
  • the possibility should be provided, if necessary, in a single operation with the bundling of the cable strands to attach fastening means to the cable bundle, with which the cable bundle can be anchored to a support member.
  • the locking lock is immediately held in a safe and precise for the further progress position, without first having to take an intermediate position.
  • the lock locks can be removed from a loosely poured stock, their placement is safe in the direction of gravity from above.
  • the insertion and locking of the cable band in the lock lock is safer and more reliable by the feed end of the cable band at the end of the looping must not be returned by the same through-hole in the opposite direction, but is inserted into a separate from the through-channel and perpendicular to this insertion channel.
  • holders are provided in the housing on both sides of the outlet opening, on which fastening means supplied from above can come to rest, which serve to fasten the cable bundles to a carrier part.
  • a projecting through the brackets down in the path of movement of the carriage head portion of this fastener on an aligned with the push-through channel of the locking lock eyelet and the fastener can be detected by the carriage in its forward movement and taken to the position in the outlet opening.
  • a driver is provided which engages in the forward movement of the carriage on a projecting collar of the fastener.
  • the device can be arranged on both sides of the outlet opening a first pair of retaining clips for the locking lock and a second pair of retaining clips for the fastening means to secure their position in the outlet opening.

The assignment of the desired tightening force to the required engine power can be determined experimentally and entered into the program control. After reaching the tightening force so determined, the drive of the pinion 18 is stopped, so that the cable band 2 is no longer under train. Thereafter, only when the cable band 2 is thus relieved, the cutting operation on the cutting device 47 (see Fig. 8) is triggered and the cable band 2 by the perpendicular to the plane of Fig. 5 or 7e advancing knife 48 just behind the locking lock. 1 cut off.
