Definitions
- the invention relates to a method and an apparatus for Volume reduction of empties, especially bottles and Cans, the device preferably over a Collecting container is positioned.
- a press in the form of a press box, which can optionally be placed on the respective waste bin in accordance with the empties to be pressed or is mounted on a support directly above the waste bins.
- This press comprises a press chamber with a filling opening and with a device arranged inside the press chamber for comminuting the inserted goods.
- the bottom of the pressing chamber is designed with bars spaced apart from one another as a grate bottom. If even the smallest bottles are to be shredded, the special version of the press is equipped with a closed base that is designed to be relocatable; this design of the floor, however, requires additional design and control engineering.
- the pressing chamber and, in particular, the bars of the grate floor are mostly covered with a sticky substance, which means that pieces of shredded empties stick to the bars and the openings provided in the floor clog up in a short time.
- the volume reduction of empties is the subject of present invention by crushing or compacting means Presses achieved, with one on, on or over one Container arranged pressing device the empties volume is reduced.
- the pressing device releases the reduced-volume, that is to say the crushed or compressed empties, and drops them directly into the assigned container, a so-called empties container.
- the pressing device is preferably placed on the empties container or suspended above the same on a portal or a traverse.
- a collection container with flexible walls e.g. on Transport bag, which is attached during its filling of the said empties container received and / or held and preferably after filling with the same to one Waste collection point, a large container or truck, is transportable.
- a first category is the empties made of glass.
- the pressing of the garbage causes a bottle, a screwed glass or similar container to be destroyed, for example.
- the resulting debris / shards now take up much less space in the empties container.
- a second category of this garbage is that of tin cans. Here is smashing, as with glass, is not possible. Because of the Deformability of metal occurs when pressing the in general very thin-walled cans not one Body formation. That is why the reduction in volume this garbage only by compacting / compressing it reachable.
- a third category is plastic garbage.
- plastic is highly elastic, so that the plastic springs back after pressing.
- To the Others are usually plastic bottles with an airtight seal closing clasp. This lock is still open the empty bottle is present due to the trapped air generates additional resistance to the pressing force This makes it difficult to compress the bottle.
- This method and the press device enable the empties to be placed in a press shaft that is tilted backwards.
- the press shaft is provided with a press shaft door, which at the same time assumes a safety function against interference during the pressing process and a switching function for starting the pressing process.
- a lateral press shaft wall is partially formed by a movable press plate.
- a lower press shaft wall which itself or of which at least one section is also movable, is coupled to the press plate and, depending on the position of the press plate, opens an opening to the associated empty container, the opening width of the opening in particular being variable.
- the pressing process is preferably triggered as follows: The two positions, one opened first and then again closed press shaft door are used by sensors (Proximity switches, buttons or similar components), to a control reported, which in turn, in advantageous training of Press device, the press shaft door by means of a locking pin locked and then initiates the pressing process.
- sensors Proximity switches, buttons or similar components
- the pressing plate driven, for example, by an electro-hydraulic drive unit comprising an electric motor and oil pump and at least one hydraulic cylinder, moves from a first position (see the figures in this regard) against the opposing press shaft wall into a second position.
- the control belonging to the pressing device causes the lifting movement to be reversed when a predeterminable maximum oil pressure is reached.
- the press plate is moved back, the lower press shaft wall coupled to the latter opens an opening to the empty container and the compressed empty material falls into it.
- An ejector which is fixedly arranged in a certain position with respect to the movable press plate and is preferably connected to the press device housing, strikes non-falling, compressed empties from the lower press shaft wall or from the press plate during said reversing stroke and virtually pushes it into falling the released opening into it.
- the backward stroke of the press plate takes place at least so far beyond the first position until the opening width corresponds to the original distance between the movable press plate and the opposite press shaft wall arranged in a stationary manner.
- This further process step ensures that materials which have been erroneously thrown into the press shaft and do not or cannot be sufficiently destroyed or compressible fall downwards out of the press shaft.
- the press device is thus ready for work again, and costly operational failures are avoided.
- the press plate moves from the aforementioned third position back into the first position. At the end of this pressing process, the control unlocks the press shaft door.
- the pressing device 1 is in one first embodiment variant on an empty container 21 arranged.
- the empties become through the press shaft door 7 9 inserted into the press shaft 6.
- the press shaft door 7 closes due to gravity - automatically and the empties 9 slides on the lower, inclined press shaft wall 3 to the rear Press shaft wall 26.
- the pressing device 1 is via a guide system 22 releasably connected to the empties container 21 and in Working position locked on the latter.
- the pressing device is surrounded by a protective outer housing, which here is preferably the cover 29 of the empties container 21 which is present anyway. Because the pressing device does not need its own housing, the manufacturing costs could be reduced by another.
- the front surface 34 of the cover 29 has an insertion opening 33, with which the size of the empties is also limited, and is attached to an adjacent surface of the cover 29 in a removable or hinged manner.
- the pressing device 1 is arranged on the empties container 21 in such a way that the pressing shaft door 7 is located directly behind the insertion opening 33.
- FIG. 1a shows an empty container 21 with the lid (housing) 29 swung open.
- the empty container 21 is provided with two chambers 27 and one revolving door 30 each,
- the pressing device 1 is not shown here.
- the upper edges of the side surfaces of each chamber 27 are designed to correspond to the guide system 22 arranged on the base plate 35 of the pressing device 1.
- a separate pressing device 1 can be used above each of the chambers 27 without leaving the bottom of the invention.
- FIG. 2 shows further details of the pressing device 1.
- the press plate 8 is guided essentially parallel to the lower press shaft wall 3 and to the fixed press shaft wall 4 located above.
- the press shaft door 7, which can be pivoted inwards can be seen with the locking bolt 13.
- the automatic closing of the press shaft door 7 triggers a safety switch 14, not shown, which in turn actuates the locking bolt 13 which can be controlled via the control and which locks the press shaft door 7.
- the drive unit 17 is then activated; the hydraulic cylinder 18 presses the press plate 8 in the direction of the fixed press shaft wall 5 against the empties 9.
- the cross section through the pressing device 1 shown in FIG. 3a shows further details.
- the press shaft walls 2, 3, 4, 5 form the press shaft 6.
- the press plate 8 is driven by a hydraulic cylinder 18.
- the press shaft walls 4 and 5 are stationary, that is, they cannot be moved.
- These press shaft walls are here preferably made in one piece with an upwardly directed flange 36 of the base plate 35 of the press device 1.
- the lower press shaft wall 3 is coupled to the press plate 8. This coupling is preferably implemented by means of welding. No additional guide elements are therefore required for the movable lower press shaft wall 3.
- Another type of coupling, not shown further, is that in the lower press shaft wall 3 there are through-going slots oriented through the thickness of the material and in the pressing direction. Bolts sliding in these slots engage in the underside of the press plate 8 and hold the lower press shaft wall 3 with a head-like contact surface. Depending on the movement of the press plate 8 and the length of the slots, the lower press shaft wall 3 is dragged accordingly.
- the distance between the Press shaft walls 2 and 5 approximately the diameter of the Maximum empties 9.
- the Press plate 8 which is preferably the same here Press shaft wall 2 or a portion of the same 2 is in the second position 11.
- a special embodiment of the invention is the mandrel 24 on the Press plate 8.
- This mandrel 24 drills into the wall of the plastic bottle and allows the trapped air to escape. But This mandrel is also advantageous for glass bottles because of the Point load of the resistant glass jacket is blown up. When pressing the press shaft walls 2 and 5 come very close close, so arranged in the press shaft wall 5, corresponding recess 28 that the mandrel 24 is not is damaged.
- FIG. 3b shows, in order to release the pressed empties 9, the press shaft wall 2 (press plate 8) moves into the third position 12.
- the empties 9 fall into the empties container 21, preferably into one in the empties container 21, through the opening 25 that forms and enlarges held transport bag.
- a non-movable ejector 16 is arranged in order to prevent the compressed empties from lying on the lower press shaft wall 3 or from sticking to the press plate. This pushes the compressed empties downwards from the surface of the lower press shaft wall 3 during the movement from the first position to the third position.
- the press shaft wall 2 (press plate 8) moves back to the first position 10.
- the locking of the press shaft door 7 is shown in FIG. Between the press shaft walls 5 and 2 is the Axis of rotation of the press shaft door. If the pressing process is triggered, so a locking pin 16 - driven by one Electromagnet 32 - before and blocked during the Pressing the press shaft door 7 is the compression of the Empties 9 and the ejection process is completed Electromagnet again without current and the locking pin 13 moves in his starting position back; the press shaft can now again be filled.
- FIG. 5 shows a further exemplary embodiment for using the pressing device 1.
- This embodiment is used above all in department stores, markets or similar facilities.
- the pressing device 1 is held either directly or with the aid of a U-shaped / trough-shaped receptacle 42 in the upper region of a portal 37 near the ceiling.
- a goods wheelchair that is customary in such department stores and is otherwise used for transporting goods from the warehouse to the sales area is moved here under the pressing device and is located within the side walls 38 and 39 of the portal 37.
- a transport bag 47 was attached either to the underside of the press device 1 or in the goods rolli 46 to hold the shredded or pressed empties.
- the goods wheelchair 46 can be removed without further handling; the upper edge of the transport bag 47, which is placed on the underside of the pressing device 1, slides off automatically when the goods roller 46 moves. A new transport bag 47 with a goods wheelchair 46 can now be positioned under the pressing device 1.
- FIG. 6 to 6c is a side view, with partial Sectional view, the press device 1 with modified to Components belonging to the press shaft are shown.
- the press plate Located in Figure 6 the press plate in its first position 10, in Figure 6a in a Position between their first position and their second position 11, which is shown in FIG. 6b and in FIG. 6c Press plate shown in its third position 12.
- These positions within a press cycle correspond to those ahead with the same name named for the fingers 3a and 3b Positions.
- FIG. 6d a representation in section C-C from FIG. 6c a further detail of the embodiment according to the figures 6 to 6c shown, namely the comb-like intermeshing of the lower finger-shaped 3a, partially over a length 3b, movable press shaft wall 3 with the lower, likewise Finger-like end 5d formed at a corresponding height 5c 5b of the fixed press shaft wall 5.
- the lower press shaft wall 3 is in its section assigned to the press shaft 6 3b and the end 5b of the fixed press shaft wall 5 from bottom inward to a height of 5c formed like a comb, the respective fingers 3a and 5d are laterally offset from each other.

Abstract
