Definitions
- the invention relates to a knife accordingly the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a knife is known according to the DE 31 16 354 A1, which serves as protection against injuries one along the edge of a knife blade extending protective pin which in one Grip body-side sliding guide space parallel to its longitudinal central axis is translationally slidable held and against a spring return force can be inserted into the handle body.
- the well-known knife is primarily related to be used with a rectangular blade, especially this is not sharpened on its short face is.
- the known knife is in particular less inexpensive to use as a sack opening knife because to open a sack, especially when it is out strong plastic film, made of strong plastic fabric, made of paper-plastic composite, made of jute fabric, from multi-ply paper or from strong paper there is a hole in the sack must be followed by a drawing cutting movement to be able to perform.
- a sack opening knife there is a rectangular blade Although feasible, a trapezoidal blade would be better or the like., Which has a tip, and the therefore permitting the bag material to be punctured.
- the knife according to DE 31 16 354 A1 is also therefore not optimal as a sack opening knife, because the free end of the spring pin when piercing and in the drawing-cutting movement following the piercing can easily get caught in the bag material.
- DE-GM 18 99 717 is a knife with one enclosing the front area of the handle body Protective cap known against spring return force can be pushed back to release the knife blade.
- the protective cap of this known knife is however less suitable if the knife comes into contact with pressure back away from the surface of the bag. Rather needs therefor one to be operated during the cutting work Handle (see DE-GM 18 99 717 item 16).
- Swiveling protective caps with a cross section approximately U-shaped shelter e.g. about according to DE-AS 11 21 972 are less than pocket knives suitable because such knives practically do not pierce of the bag material orthogonal to the bag surface allow because the pivoting protective cap does not necessarily backs away.
- Such knives require rather when placing the knife on the material to be cut an acute angle between the material to be cut and the Longitudinal axis of the knife.
- a knife according to US-A-43 93 587 is a carrying a knife blade at the front at its free end pin-shaped knife holder against spring return force from a sheath-like hollow shaft in the its cutting position can be extended. Apart from this, that the cutting function in this known knife is not observed, obstructs one at an angle Free end of the hollow shaft arranged skid also puncturing the bag material orthogonally to the bag surface.
- Double protection bar is made of elastic material, in case of pressure contact with the material to be cut, releasing the knife blade along the knife blade pushed away.
- This well-known knife which no knocking in of the knife blade orthogonal to the bag surface allowed, must be applied to the material to be cut be that the handle body longitudinal axis with the Cutting plane forms an acute angle.
- US-A-45 69 133 is a knife known, the knife blade rigidly arranged in the handle body one on both sides of the cutting edge extending rigid bracket.
- This rigid one Temple is only part of a different Cutting depth limitation axially lockable, exercises thus no protective function (cf. US-A-45 69 133 Fig. 14).
- the invention is based on the subject DE 31 16 354 A1, the task, a particular knife suitable for opening sacks create which, similar to the well-known knife, provides adequate protection against injury.
- a protective pin according to the DE 31 16 354 Al is a safety bar, namely a safety bar arrangement in the form of a double safety bar, provided which is on both sides one next to the cutting edge of the knife blade Has pin area.
- both pen areas arranged at a parallel distance from each other Ends, the leading ends, over the knife blade tip away on both sides at a distance from the end face the knife blade with a point at the front are bent up, the knife blade preferably forms a trapezoidal blade.
- both pin areas itself both at the side distance and below at a distance from the cutting edge, at the same time on the underside protection against accidental contact with the cutting edge.
- the invention is hampered Protection against contact the visual perceptibility of the Cutting process practically not.
- the cutting work in particular the puncturing of the sack material through which new formation of a safety bar is not hindered, because the safety bar fits with the bent up Ends, the leading ends, on the sack material can support, and sufficiently large area can support while pushing yourself of the handle body, the two parallel to each other straight pin areas of the safety bar push into the handle body against the spring return force can and the knife blade tip through the space between the bent ends (Leaders) of the pin areas of the safety bar can push through.
- Knife through the parallel extension of the two Pin areas advantageously a corner guide of the knife along a cardboard edge.
- the bent ends, the leading ends, the Safety bracket at one another at their free ends over, so that an increasing the stability of the bracket, approximately hairpin-shaped temple end is present.
- Embodiment are the bent ends that Leaders, the safety bar, starting from the front area of the safety bar, additionally bent backwards while doing so preferably led into the knife housing.
- This insertion can be done on the one hand a longitudinal channel open on one side or even more advantageously by means of a face of the knife handle open guide channel can be accomplished.
- Each knife 10 has a handle body 11 and a knife blade 12 releasably fastened therein, the in the embodiments shown as a trapezoidal blade is trained and therefore a straightforward Cutting edge 13, one inclined to the handle longitudinal axis y extending straight end face 14 and in front a knife blade tip 15 has.
- a safety bar 16 has two in parallel spacing pin regions 17 arranged relative to one another, whose approximately piston-like inner ends 18 in a guide channel 19 in the push-out direction x and in the direction of insertion z translationally along the Longitudinal central axes L of the pin regions 17 are movable are.
- each pin area 17 is each with an approximately part-circular arc 21 two leading ends 22 connected and at a distance in front of the knife blade tip 15 and the end face 14 of the knife blade 12 pulled around.
- the free ends 23 of the leading ends 22 are connected to one another via a strap web 24 connected.
- FIGS. 4-6 as well as 4A differs in that in FIGS 1-3 and 1A shown embodiment only in that the two leading ends 22 each a rearward directed temple end 25 connects, with both temple ends 25 in turn a strap web 24 are connected to each other.
- Temple ends 25 and temple web 24 are in a guide channel 26 of the handle body 11 along the sliding directions x and z translationally displaceable added.
- Knife 10 happens in the simplest version in such a way that the knife 10 with the respective leading end 22 is placed on the bag surface E, with the sack material between the two Leaders 22 is streamlined and leveled, such as in particular is conceivable on the basis of FIGS. 2 and 6.
- Figs. 4-6 and 4A can have an actuation lock, which can be operated by means of a key 27.
- the knife 10 can alternatively with two different acting Actuation locks must be equipped.
- the first variant can consist in that Depressing button 27 unlocks the Safety bracket 16 in its advanced position (Fig. 4) so that the safety bar 16 at button 27 pushed back in the direction of z can be.
