  • the needle bar a second drive assigned to it, which cyclically and synchronizes it with its Nonwoven fabric vertical penetration movement (vertical movement) in a swinging motion parallel to the nonwoven web (Horizontal movement) offset in and against Direction of transport of the nonwoven web through the needle machine runs and in time with the vertical puncture movement of the Needle bar is superimposed so that the movement of the needle bar in the horizontal direction in the period of each movement cycle, in which his needles are inserted into the fleece are those caused by the feed and take-off rollers Movement of the nonwoven fabric by the needle machine follows, while the needles are detached from the nonwoven, the return of the needle bar in the horizontal direction, i.e. parallel to the nonwoven web, in the starting position.
  • the needle bar thus leads from the side across to the transport direction seen the nonwoven web, a circular motion, depending according to the ratio of the strokes of the horizontal and vertical movements is more or less circular or elliptical.
  • the invention has for its object a drive Specify the type mentioned, with which the stroke of the transverse to Puncture movement of the needle bar directed movement that the Needle bar forced by the second drive device becomes, light and in fine gradation, preferably also stepless, is adjustable.
  • a first concept of the invention provides for the second drive device two eccentric shafts in front, with the same speed circulate and their connecting rod movements caused by them be combined on a coupling bridge.

  • FIG. 5 schematically shows a plan view of the needle bar area a needle machine. Needle machines sometimes have a lot large working widths that can be several meters. To the to avoid adverse influences of inertia, which too elastic deflections of the needle bar could result, if the force attack on the needle bar only at one point 5, it is provided that the horizontal Movement component of the needle bar at several along its Extension is distributed places. 5 are elements corresponding to the examples explained above provided with the same reference numerals so that they are not repeated here need to be explained. You can see that from the hinge point 15 of the coupling bridge 12 starting from the eccentrics 18th and 19 caused movement via a wishbone 25 and several rocker arms 26 and a corresponding number of trailing arms 27 is transferred to the needle beam carrier 4. This construction principle can be easily based on the embodiment Fig. 3 transferred.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 would be along the Needle beam carrier 4 several, arranged on a common shaft, identically aligned eccentrics with a corresponding one Number of connecting rods to be provided over several coupling bridges grasp the needle bar support.
  • this tracking movement has a horizontal direction a speed curve that is sinusoidal, i.e. the Horizontal speed of the needle bar gradually decreases from zero increases, reaches a maximum and then decreases again to zero then the direction for the return movement of the needle bar to reverse, etc.
  • speed of the horizontal movement of the needle bar carried needles on the speed of the feed movement the nonwoven web penetrated by the needles, which in particular Cases when, for example, felts of special fineness and Uniformity, such as paper machine felts, to undesirable disturbances in the structure of the manufactured product.
  • the invention proposes a further development before, the servomotors of the second drive device in one to control the cyclically running program in such a way that the aforementioned sinusoidal velocity profile of horizontal movement of the needle bar at least in that horizontal movement stroke, which follows the direction of web advance to a uniform one Speed is smoothed.
  • Modern control electronics allows the speed of rotation of servo motors in this Way to influence.

  • sinusoidal course of the horizontal movement of the needle bar is even an advantage in this case because it creates a "Plucking" on the nonwoven web through the needles when accelerating is prevented in the horizontal direction.
  • the complete Adjustment of the needle movement in the horizontal direction to the Enabling respective needs will result in a significant increase in quality of the manufactured product.
  • Another Increase in quality by comparing or blurring the stitch pattern can be achieved if the needle bar between successive stitch movements laterally, i.e. across to the fleece feed direction by less than one lateral Needle spacing is offset.
  • a drive scheme for generation such a lateral movement of the needle bar is also shown in Fig. 5.

  • the range of motion that must be produced by the actuator 52 is relative small. According to a lateral distance between each other adjacent needles is usually about 3 mm he just a little less than 3 mm. This range of motion is appropriate divided into several, for example two stages, so that each needle is between three lateral positions is adjustable, a left, a middle and a right Position, seen in the direction of web advance. These positions can be used cyclically, for example either after every needle insertion or after a predetermined one Number of needle punctures in the nonwoven web Position is changed using the servomotor 52.
  • the corresponding Control of the servomotor 52 thus takes place in Coordination with the work cycle of the eccentric drives 2 and can, in particular, use the angle encoder that may be installed there and possibly clock counters.
  • the control of the servomotor 52 can expediently via a control generator 53 take place, which processes a cyclically running control program or a stochastic random sequence of control commands for the servomotor 52.
  • FIG. 6 Another possibility, which is shown in Fig. 6, consists of the actuator being driven by an eccentric drive two eccentrics 54 synchronized by independent drive motors 55 are driven and their connecting rods 56 at the ends a coupling bridge 57 are coupled to each other to form.
