Claims (6)
- Verfahren zur Vorhangbeschichtung eines bewegten Trägers mit einem flüssigen Beschichtungsmaterial, insbesondere photographische Emulsionen, wobei dem durch Seitenführungen (7) geführten Vorhang (6) beidseitig ein Seitenfluss (10) zugeführt wird und die Breite des Vorhangs grösser ist als die Breite der Beschichtung auf dem Träger und beide Seiten des Vorhangs mittels Messer (15) abgeschnitten werden, deren Vorderkante (16) bezüglich der Innenseite der Seitenführung einen spitzen Winkel (α) einschliessen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwecks Vermeidung eines Randwulstes von der Vorderkante des Messers gestaute Teile der Giesslösung senkrecht zur Längserstreckung des Vorhangs durch Oeffnungen (20) im Messer abgesaugt werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die abgeschnittenen Seitenteile des Vorhangs (6) und des Seitenflusses (10) über einen Absaugschlitz (18) am Messer (15) und einen Absaugkanal (19) abgesaugt werden.
- Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1 mit zwei Seitenführungen (7) für den Vorhang (6) und je einem am unteren Ende der Seitenführung (7) angebrachten Messer (15), dessen Vorderkante (16) bezüglich der Innenseite der Seitenführung einen spitzen Winkel (α) einschliesst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an der unteren Kante des Messers (15) ein senkrecht zur Längserstreckung des Vorhangs verlaufender Absaugschlitz (20) angeordnet ist, der mit einem Absaugkanal (21) verbunden ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am Uebergang zwischen der Oberseite (17) jeden Messers (12) und der Seitenführung (7) ein Absaugschlitz (18) angeordnet ist, der mit einem Absaugkanal (19) verbunden ist, um die abgeschnittenen Seitenteile des Vorhangs (6) und des Seitenflusses (10) abzusaugen.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Höhe des Absaugschlitzes (18) an der Oberseite jeden Messers 0,05 - 0,5 mm beträgt.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Absaugschlitz (18) an der Oberseite (17) jeden Messers (12) und/oder der Absaugschlitz (20) an der unteren Kante (21) des Messers mit einer Wasserspülung versehen ist.
