Definitions

  • the subject of the invention is a container, for separate packaging and then mixture of at least two products. We know that it is often necessary to make a mixture of several products at the time of use, the products separated well supporting prolonged storage while their mixture deteriorates quickly.
  • packaging can be used, for example, for the marketing of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or photographic.
  • the object of the invention relates more particularly storage and mixing of poorly flowing products, in particular storage and the mixture of several products of which at least one is viscous, as for example storing and mixing a powder with a cream or a paste or of two creams. Examples of such products include the products of coloring.
  • the proposed system allows storage separated from a solid and a liquid which are isolated by a tearable film.
  • the incomplete opening between the two compartments containing each product, opening due to tearing of the film, would insufficient to allow easy and homogeneous mixing of products, in the if one of these products is a paste, cream or powder.
  • one of the products is a liquid which impregnates a tampon contained in another cavity, the two cavities being separated by a tearable film.
  • This conditioning presents by therefore the same disadvantages (difficulty of flow and mixing) for a paste a cream or a powder than those described above.
  • the container comprises a tubular upper compartment, which is not very favorable for mixing when the product stored in the upper compartment is a cream and by therefore flows poorly.
  • This form also has the disadvantage of not not allow products to be easily mixed using an instrument such as a stick or a brush. This drawback is common to other systems known.
  • this container is manufactured by injection blowing, which is a expensive technique.
  • Patent FR-1 224 465 describes a container comprising a plurality of reservoirs concentric. In one embodiment, all of the concentric containers are the same height, and are closed by the same cover. Such a design makes it difficult to mix the different compositions it contains.
  • Patent application FR-A-2 658 484 describes a device for mixing extemporaneous of two compositions, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a device by its shape, is not suitable for mixing compositions of which at least one is of viscosity important. Indeed, its shape does not allow easily, the homogenization of the mixing using a suitable tool.
  • the subject of the invention is a container for separate packaging. and the mixture of at least one basic product and at least one secondary product, comprising a body, an internal plug, a closure means and a device opening the internal plug, the body comprising a wall defining the profile of a main cavity likely to contain the basic product and the profile a secondary cavity likely to contain the secondary product, the cavity secondary being included in the main cavity, the internal plug allowing to hermetically isolate the secondary cavity from the main cavity, the closing means making it possible to hermetically isolate the main cavity from outside air, the internal cap opening device allowing the internal plug before or simultaneously with the opening of the main cavity, the bringing the basic product into contact with the secondary product, with a view to their mixing, taking place during removal of the internal plug, characterized in that the main cavity is generally in the form of a bowl.
  • This device avoids risky handling when the opening of the secondary cavity, since this is done while the cavity main is still closed and therefore the contents of the two cavities cannot not spread outside, or simultaneously with the opening of the cavity primary and the user does not have to handle the plug of the secondary cavity while the main cavity is already open and its contents could be escape.
  • the profile of the main cavity is generally in the form of a bowl. In this form can come to register the profile of the secondary cavity in the form of a outgrowth.
  • the profile of the main cavity can also be provided with a bottom dish.
  • the bowl shape allows in particular an easy mixing of the contained products in the body, using instruments, such as a paintbrush or a stick.
  • This facility is extremely favorable for obtaining a mixture homogeneous from poorly flowing products, in particular products one of which at least is viscous. This ease of mixing is all the more important when the user of these products is not a person skilled in the art but a current consumer.
  • the body is made of thermoplastic material. It can result from the superposition of several different thermoplastic materials and it can be manufactured by all means known to those skilled in the art such as, for example, thermoforming, injection, blowing. Preferably, in order to make the product economically attractive, it is manufactured by thermoforming or by injection, and according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is manufactured by thermoforming.
  • polyethylene can be used, for example, polypropylene, a copolymer of ethylene and propylene
  • the closure means may be an external plug placed at the opening of the main cavity; in this case the body comprises attachment means complementary to the periphery of the main cavity.
  • the means of closure can also be a single-piece peel-off film.
  • the closure means is a tear-off film of a single holding, it is made of airtight material and chemically compatible with basic and secondary products.
  • the film is attached to the wall of the body and placed at the opening of the main cavity. Fixing the film to the body must be both waterproof and manually removable.
  • the film is in a material such that it does not tear when it is torn from the body, but on the contrary is removed in one piece.
  • Such film usually consists of at least three superimposed layers: the layer medium, which can be aluminum or thermoplastic material, determines waterproofing of the film, the upper layer of thermoplastic material conditions the non-tearability of the film and the lower layer is a film thermoplastic which makes the film peelable.
  • the internal cap consists essentially of a skirt and a bottom, it must allow the watertight closing of the secondary cavity, it must also be able to be easily removed before, or simultaneously with, the opening of the main cavity, to allow the two products to be mixed before use.
  • the secondary cavity is provided, at its ends, with hooking means which cooperate with the skirt of the plug and allow its watertight fixing.
  • the internal plug is preferably made of thermoplastic material, it can be manufactured by any means known to those skilled in the art, such as for example by thermoforming of an extruded film or by injection.
  • the cap will be manufactured by injection, this more precise technique allows facilitate obtaining a better seal.
  • the profile of the secondary cavity comprises a finger rigid and a deformable zone at the periphery and at a first end of this finger, this finger and this deformable zone cooperating so that a pressure exerted on the deformable zone causes the internal plug to pop by pressing its other end on said internal plug.
  • This gesture should preferably be made before removing the film.
  • the periphery of this finger can be made deformable by any means known to those skilled in the art, for example by the presence of grooves in the profile of the cavity or by a lesser thickness of the thermoplastic material at the periphery of this finger.
  • the internal plug may be provided with an internal skirt in which is placed the rigid finger and which prevents it from bending under the pressure.
  • the internal plug comprises a rigid rod whose the end rests on the walls of the secondary cavity. Pressure on this wall makes it possible to blow up the plug. This gesture must also be made before removing the film.
  • the internal plug is provided with a sealed tongue comprising two ends, one end fixed to the internal plug, and one other end sealed by means of closure, by means of non-sealing peelable, especially when the closure is a film tear-off sealing of the tab on the film is different from sealing of the film on the body, so when the user removes the film, it brings with it the tongue and the internal plug.
  • the internal plug comprises a hollow skirt of sufficient height for the bottom to emerge from the main cavity at level of the upper body walls and the bottom of the inner cap is sealed by means of closure.
  • the sealing of the bottom of the cap internal by the closing means is not removable, in particular when the closure means is a tear-off film sealing the inner cap on the film is different from sealing the film on the body, so when the user removes the film, it drives with it the internal plug.
  • the manufacturer fills all first the secondary cavity with the secondary product then it closes this cavity by the internal plug, it then fills the main cavity and closes it, possibly by sealing the tab to the film in the case of the third variant.
  • the manufacturer can, depending on the shape of the cavity, proceed as according to the previous variants, it can also place the secondary product inside the hollow internal plug, said plug being turned over to rest on its bottom. He then fixes the body on this plug, then he returns the assembly and fills the main cavity then fixes the means of closing, sealing the bottom of the inner cap on the film.
  • the body profile can be provided with a flat bottom which allows it to rest on a flat surface
  • this body may also include a skirt which allows it to rest on a flat surface regardless of the profile of the rest of the body.
  • the user can mix using any known instrument, such as a brush or stick, the basic product and secondary product.
  • the container according to the invention can also comprise a sample cavity formed in the walls of the body, this cavity being capable of containing a sample dose of the primary or secondary product.
  • This cavity is closed by a closure means of the same type as that which closes the cavity main.
  • closure means of the same type as that which closes the cavity main.
  • the container according to the invention may further comprise an instrument cavity formed in the walls of the body, this cavity being capable of containing various instruments useful for handling products, such as for example gloves, a brush etc ...
  • the cavity instruments can be closed by an independent closing means, it can however, be closed by the same closing means as the main cavity.
  • the container shown in Figure 1 consists of a body 1 of thermoformed polyethylene, an internal cap 2, two heat-sealed films 3 and 4.
  • the body 1 has the shape of a nipple which defines a main cavity 1.1 in bowl shape and a secondary cavity 2.1 in the bottom of the main cavity 1.1; hooking means 1.5 of the snap-on type allow a tight fixing of the plug 2 which separates the cavity 1.1, containing a product 1.2, and the cavity 2.1 containing a product 2.2.
  • Products 1.2 and 2.2 are respectively a cream and a powder for coloring hair.
