Description

Transportvase für Schnittblumen
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vase, welche besonders geeignet ist, um Schnittblumen insbesondere von ganzen Blumensträussen lagern, transportieren und frischhalten zu können, gemäss dem Oberbegriff des unabhängigen Patentanspruches.
Normalerweise werden vom Floristen in Blumengeschäften Schnittblumen dem Kunden mitgegeben, entweder ohne jeden Feuchtigkeitsspender in Papier eingewickelt, oder oft auch werden die Stiele mit einem wassergetränkten Wattebausch oder kleinem Schwamm umgeben, verpackt. Eine andere bekannte Art des frischhaltenden Transportes besteht in kleinen Behält¬ nissen, welche am Stiel nicht wasserdicht verschlossen werden können und daher gerne auslaufen. Gleichzeitig besteht die Ge¬ fahr, dass der Rand dieser Behälter die Blumenstiele verletzt.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Transportvase für Schnitt¬ blumen und dergleichen zu schaffen, welche Nährflüssigkeit speichert und nach Bedarf an Blumen abgibt, ohne dass die Nährflüssigkeit ausläuft, unabhängig von der Lage. Die Lage¬ unabhängigkeit ist wichtig, da Blumenstrausse oft mit den Blüten nach unten und den Stielen nach oben getragen werden.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch die in den Patentansprüchen angegebene Erfindung gelöst.
Ein zusätzlicher Vorteil der Erfindung ist, dass die vorge¬ schlagene Transportvase in ungebrauchtem Zustand ein Minimum an Volumen und Gewicht beansprucht. Diese Transportvasen kön¬ nen ungebraucht sogar in einer Hosentasche mitgeführt und an Ort und Stelle bei Bedarf mit Wasser gefüllt, respektive ge¬ tränkt werden, um die Funktion zu erfüllen. Die Herstellung dieser Art Transportvase ist in allen Grossen und Farben mög¬ lich und ausserordentlich preisgünstig.
Ein zusätzlicher Vorteil der Erfindung ist, dass die Trans¬ portvase auf ihrer Aussenseite nicht feucht oder nass wird und sich daher auch nicht auflöst. Gleichzeitig bietet sie einen ausgezeichneten Schutz für die Blumenstiele gegen Druck und Wärme, und umgekehrt werden Haut und Hände nicht nass, und ein direkter Kontakt mit Pflanzenstielen wird vermieden. Dies kann zum Beispiel allergische Hautreaktionen, hervorgerufen durch bestimmte Pflanzen, verhindern.
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend im Zusammenhang mit den Zeich¬ nungen beschrieben. Figur 1 zeigt eine Ausführungsform der erfindungsgemässen Transportvase in perspektivischer Ansicht;
Figur 2 zeigt eine andere Ausführungsform der Transportvase;
Figur 3 zeigt eine Transportvase im Querschnitt.
Figur 1 zeigt eine Ausführungsform der erfindungsgemässen Transportvase in perspektivischer Ansicht. Ein flexibles Be¬ hältnis besteht aus einer wasserundurchlässigen Hülle 1, wel¬ che auf ihrer Innenseite 2 mit einer Schicht aus saugfähigem Material 3, vorzugsweise aus Zellstoff, wattenähnlich, be¬ schichtet ist. Dieses saugfähige Material 3 dient als Nähr- flüssigkeitsspeicher. Es wird erst vor dem eigentlichen Ein¬ satz mit der Nährflüssigkeit getränkt.
Auf einem Teil des Umfanges 4 ist die wasserundurchlässige Hülle 1 nicht mit saugfähigem Material 3 beschichtet, sondern fächerförmig 5, 5', 5' ' vorgefaltet. Dies erleichtert das Ein¬ stellen von Blumen, da so eine grössere Oeffnung vorhanden ist. Wenn Nährflüssigkeit eingegeben und Blumen eingestellt sind, wird die Hülle 1 beim nun beschichteten Teil 4 in die Falten gelegt, um damit die Blumen um die Stiele herum besser zu fassen. Anschliessend wird ein wiederverschliessbares Klebeband 6, welches an einer Stelle auf der Aussenseite der Hülle 1 fixiert ist, um die gefaltete Seite gelegt und hält die ganze Transportvase derart zusammen, dass die Blumenstiele nicht mehr herausrutschen.
Die Nährflüssigkeit befindet sich nur im saugfähigen Material 3, von wo sie an die Blumenstiele, nach Bedarf, abgegeben wird. Das saugfähiges Material 3 kann ein Vielfaches seines Eigengewichtes an Nährflüssigkeit aufnehmen und speichern. Durch die Beschaffenheit des saugfähigen Materiales 3, wie es zum Beispiel von Windeln bekannt ist, wird die Nährflüssigkeit auslaufsicher zurückgehalten. An einer beliebigen Stelle im unteren Bereich der Transportvase im Bereich des saugfähigen Materiales 3 ist ein bekannter Nässeindikator 7 angeordnet, und ermöglicht die Flüssigkeitsspeicherung optisch von aussen zu kontrollieren.
In einer anderen Ausführungform besteht die Transportvase aus zwei, im Prinzip trapezartigen, innen vliessbeschichteten Teilen der wasserundurchlässigen Hülle, welche seitlich und unten wie ein Kaffeefilter zugeschweisst oder verklebt sind.
Eine andere Ausführungsform der Transportvase ist in Figur 2 dargestellt. Die Transportvase weist die Form einer einseitig offenen Hülle oder Tasche mit einer im unbenutzten Zustand etwa rechteckigen Form auf. Einseitig ist im oberen Bereich ein wiederlösbares Klebeband 6 angebracht, mit welchem die Vase bei Gebrauch um die Blumenstiele zusammengezogen und gesichert werden kann. Front- und gegebenenfalls rückseitig sind Taschen 8 angebracht. Die Taschen 8 sind aus der gleichen Folie, wie die Hülle selbst, können aber auch aus anderem knitterbaren dünnen Material sein. Sie dienen einerseits zum Einstecken von kleinen Beuteln bekannter Frischhaltemittel für Schnittblumen, andererseits zum Einstecken von Gruss- oder Ge¬ schäftskarten, und sind in ihren Massen darauf abgestimmt. Die Transportvase kann farbig gestaltet sein, und können zum Bei¬ spiel die Taschen 8 mit Reklamen bedruckt werden.
In Figur 3 ist eine erfindungsgemässe Transportvase in offenem Zustand im Querschnitt dargestellt. Die wasserundurchlässige Hülle 1 bildet ein nach oben offenes U., wobei das Hüllenmate¬ rial als Umschlag 13 um die oberen Enden der Transportvase herumgezogen und auf der Innenseite um ein gewisses Mass nach unten gezogen ist. Sie umfasst damit das saugfähige Material 3 in diesem Bereich teilweise und bildet eine Art umgekehrte, unten offene Rinne. Diese Rinne verhindert beim umgekehrt Halten eines Blumenstrausses in der Transportvase ein allfälliges Auslaufen des Wassers.
In die taschenförmige wasserundurchlässige Hülle 1 ist eine Schicht aus saugfähigem Material 3 eingelegt. Als saugfähiges Material eignet sich insbesondere Zellstoff, zum Beispiel in watteähnlicher Form, Schaumstoff, schwammartiges Material und dergleichen. Saugfähiges Material 3, das durch seine inneren Eigenschaften in sich selbst eine Kapillarwirkung aufweist, fördert die Flüssigkeitsverteilung zusätzlich.
Gegen innen ist die Schicht aus saugfähigem Material durch eine poröse oder perforierte Folie 11 abgedeckt. Diese poröse Folie 11 kann aus Kunststoff mit kleinen Löchern bestehen. Es eignet sich aber auch ein Vliessstoff in der Art eines Geo- textils oder ein feines Gewebe. Die poröse Folie 11 ist am oberen Rand mit dem Rand der wasserundurchlässigen Hülle innenseitig vom Umschlag 13 durch Klebung oder Schweissung 12 fest verbunden.
In die Transportvase eingefülltes Wasser verteilt sich im saugfähigen Material 3 und kann sich in begrenztem Mass inner¬ halb diesem Material verlagern. Beim Umgekehrthalten eines Blumenstrausses in der Transportvase, hat das Wasser die Ten¬ denz, sich nach unten zu verlagern. Es wird aber durch die wasserdichte Hülle im Umschlag zurückgehalten und am Aus- fHessen gehindert. Bei Verwendung eines entsprechenden saug¬ fähigen Materiales 3, wie zum Beispiel einem Schaumstoff, kann auf die poröse Folie 11 verzichtet werden.
Die Hülle 1 ist vorzugsweise aus einem rutsch- und reissfesten und biologisch abbaubaren Material hergestellt. Ebenso ist das saugfähige Material 3 und die poröse Folie möglichst aus bio¬ logisch abbaubarem Material herzustellen, damit die Transport¬ vase wiederverwendbar und/oder recyclebar ist.

Claims

PATENTANSPRUECHE
1. Transportvase für Schnittblumen und dergleichen, welche besonders geeignet ist, um Schnittblumen insbesondere von ganzen Blumenstraussen zu transportieren, frischzuhalten und zu lagern, mit einem Feuchtigkeitsbehältnis dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie aus einer wasserundurchlässigen taschenartig geformten Hülle (1) und einem darin einge¬ lagerten Nährflüssigkeitsspeicher aus saugfähigem Material (3) besteht, welcher nach Bedarf mit Wasser und/oder Nähr¬ flüssigkeit füllbar/tränkbar ist.
2. Transportvase nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hülle (1) um den oberen Rand herum, auf der Innenseite teilweise nach unten gezogen ist und das- saug¬ fähige Material (3) in diesem Bereich teilweise umfasst.
3. Transportvase nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das saugfähige Material aus Zellstoff besteht.
4. Transportvase nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das saugfähige Material (3) ein schwammartiger Stoff ist.
5. Transportvase nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das saugfähige Material (3) auf der Innenseite der Transportvase durch eine poröse oder perforierte Folie (11) bedeckt ist.
6. Transportvase nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das saugfähige Material (3) als Be¬ schichtung der Hülle (1) ausgeführt ist.
7. Transportvase nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf der Aussenseite der Hülle (1) mindestens ein wiederverschliessbares Klebeband (6) derart angebracht ist, dass die Hülle (1) um die Blumenstiele zusammen¬ ziehbar und mit dem Klebeband (6) fixierbar ist.
8. Transportvase nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf der Aussenseite der Hülle (1) an geeigneter Stelle ein Nässeindikator (7) angebracht ist.
9. Transportvase nach einem der Anpruche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf der Aussenseite der Hülle (1) mindestens eine Tasche (8), in welche Frischhaltebeutel oder dergleichen einsteckbar sind, angebracht ist.
10. Transportvase nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie wiederverwendbar und/oder recyclebar ist. GEÄNDERTE ANSPRÜCHE

Transportvase für Schnittblumen und dergleichen, welche besonders geeignet ist, um Schnittblumen insbesondere von ganzen Blumenstraussen, zu transportieren, frischzuhalten und zu lagern als ein Feuchtigkeitsbehältnis, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Feuchtigkeitsbehältnis aus einer flexiblen Hülle (1) aus einer wasserundurchlässigen Folie in Form einer Tasche besteht mit darin eingelagertem Nährflüssigkeitsspeicher aus saugfähigem Material (3), welcher nach Bedarf mit Wasser und/oder Nährflüssigkeit füllbar/tränkbar ist.
