Definitions

  • Cards Credit and identification cards are widely used today. They usually have a standard size and are made of plastic. Most cards are embossed, and some have a magnetic stripe from which the stored data is lost when they are touched with magnetic metal. Such cards are often "read” electronically, for which purpose they are inserted into a slot in the reader. Then they must not have a kink. There is therefore a need to store the cards in such a way that they are not bent, the embossing is retained and the magnetically stored data does not go out.
  • US-A-4141 400 therefore proposes to use a container that provides such protection.
  • this container has the disadvantage that it can only hold a single card.
