Description

Credit and identification cards are widely used today. They usually have a standard size and are made of plastic. Most cards are embossed, and some have a magnetic stripe from which the stored data is lost when they are touched with magnetic metal. Such cards are often "read" electronically, for which purpose they are inserted into a slot in the reader. Then they must not have a kink. There is therefore a need to store the cards in such a way that they are not bent, the embossing is retained and the magnetically stored data does not go out.

However, this container has the disadvantage that it can only hold a single card. From US-A-3 421 658 a container has become known in which several cards can be accommodated. The cards simply lie on top of each other in the container. To remove it, either the lid can be opened or, when the lid is closed, the card on top can be pushed out to the side. This has the disadvantage that - if the card at the bottom is used - all cards must be removed.

In der US-A-3 688 896 ist ein Behältnis gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 beschrieben.US-A-3 688 896 describes a container according to the preamble of claim 1.

In this known embodiment, a certain card can not quickly u with a targeted grip. easy to remove.

The object of the invention is to create a container for several cards which avoids the disadvantages mentioned above. Each individual card should be kept well protected and quickly and can be easily removed from the container.

The invention solves this problem with a container which has the features of claim 1. The handles can be provided with a lock that prevents the slide from being pushed out unintentionally.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown.

Es zeigen: Figur 1 eine Ansicht des Behältnisses mit drei Schiebern von oben, in grösserem Masstab;

  • Figur 2 einen Schnitt enlang der Linie 11-11 in Figur 1;
  • Figur 3 drei Schieber für sich, in perspektivischer Darstellung;
  • Figur 4 einen Schieber in Seitenansicht;
FIG. 1 shows a view of the container with three slides from above, on a larger scale;
  • 2 shows a section along the line 11-11 in Figure 1;
  • FIG. 3 three sliders for themselves, in a perspective view;
  • Figure 4 shows a slide in side view;
  • Figure 5 shows a container with clips, in a view from above.

The container according to FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises a housing 10 with three slides 20 and three handles 30.

The housing 10 has a rear wall 11 and an opening 12 from which the slides can be pushed out individually using the handles. In the narrow longitudinal sides of the housing delimiting the opening, grooves 13 are provided, in which the slides are slidably guided. In the upper, wide housing wall there are slots 14 through which tabs for actuating the slides protrude. In the area of the wide, outer slide, grooves 15 are provided in the upper housing wall, which are used for locking.

The three slides 20 are designed a little differently, as can be seen from FIGS. 3 and 4. The lowermost slide 21 is provided on its right rear side with a tab 22 which projects through one of the slots 14 in the housing and is bent parallel to the latter above the wide housing wall. The bent surface is provided with a hole, the purpose of which will be explained later. The middle slide 23 is provided on its left rear with a tab 24. So that the slider 23 can be moved using the tab 24, the uppermost slider 25 is provided with a lateral recess 26.

The same naturally also applies to the lowermost slide 21. So that it can be moved by means of the tab 22, the two slides 23 and 25 have cutouts 26 on the right side.

The uppermost slide 25 has a T-shaped tab 27 arranged in the middle. All the slides 21, 23, 25 have a handle recess 28 at the front, a front stop 29 and rear stops 29 ', as can best be seen in FIG.

The handles 30 are provided at the bottom with a short pin 31 which engages in the bore 32 in the part of the tabs running parallel to the wide housing wall. This allows the handles to be swiveled a little. At the bottom, at the rear of each handle, a downward locking pin 33 is attached. In the rest position, when the slide is fully retracted into the housing, these pins engage in a lateral recess 16 at the rear end of the grooves 15, or in a lateral recess 16 of the central slot 14. This locks the slide in the rest position. A spring, not shown in the drawing, holds the handles in this position.

Only after completing a slight pivoting movement, as in FIG. 2 for the left handle, does the locking pin 33 enter the slot and can be moved forward. In FIG. 2, the left handle has first been pivoted a little clockwise and has pushed the middle slide 23 a little way out of the opening 12 of the housing 10 via the tab 24. So that the handles are as wide and easy to grip as possible and can still be swiveled, the side contour - where they lie next to each other - is a little rounded.

It should be clear that in the same arrangement not only the upper broad side of the housing is provided with slots 14, grooves 15 and handles 30 can be, but the lower broad side. This then allows six sliders to be accommodated in the same way, each of which can be attached separately, as described above.

Such a container with six slides is shown in FIG. 5, in which the handles are numbered on one side and - as shown in FIG. 5 - with 4 - 6 on the opposite side of the housing. A slide 25 has been pushed a little way out of the housing 10 by means of the handle 5.

In addition to the numbers on the handles, labels 17 or other inscriptions can be attached to the wide housing wall so that only the correct slide is actuated. In Figure 5, the slider has pushed out a credit card K, which can be easily removed thanks to the recess 28. In FIG. 5, the container is also provided with an additional clip 40, with the aid of which the container can be held on the edge of a waistcoat or skirt pocket, or in a women's handbag. The clip consists of a cross piece 41 which is held on the rear wall 11 by means of resilient rods 42.

In the embodiment described above, the slide can be actuated by means of tabs which protrude through slots in the broad side of the housing. As a result, the capacity of the container is limited to six sliders with cards. If the tabs on the narrow side of the housing, on the side in the level of the slider itself, are managed in house, you could in principle arbitrarily accommodate many cards. If there were too many cards, the container would be rather unwieldy.
