Claims (11)
1. Fyldt, slutsteriliseret sprøjte til intravitreal injektion, hvilken sprøjte omfatter et glaslegeme, der danner en cylinder (2), en prop (10) og et stempel (4), hvor legemet (2) omfatter et udløb (12) i en udløbsende (14), og proppen er anbragt i legemet, således at en forendeflade (16) af proppen (10) og legemet (2) definerer et variabelt volumenkammer (18), hvorfra en væske (20) kan udstødes gennem udløbet (12), hvor stemplet omfatter en stempelkontaktflade (22) i en første ende (24) og en stang (26), der strækker sig mellem stempelkontaktfladen (22) og en bagendedel (25), hvilken stempelkontaktflade (22) er anbragt, så den er i berøring med proppen (10), således at stemplet (4) kan anvendes til at drive proppen (10) mod udløbsenden (14) af legemet, hvilket reducerer volumenet af det variable volumenkammer (18), hvor væsken (20) er en oftalmisk opløsning, der omfatter ranibizumab, som er kendetegnet ved, at: (a) sprøjten har et nominelt maksimalt fyldningsvolumen på ca. 0,5 ml, (b) sprøjten er fyldt med et dosisvolumen på mellem ca. 0,03 ml og ca. 0,05 ml ranibizumab, (c) sprøjtecylinderen (2) omfatter ca. 5 pg til ca. 100 pg silikoneolie, (d) den oftalmiske opløsning omfatter højst 2 partikler, der er > 50 pm i diameter, pr. ml, og (e) sprøjten har en propløsrivelseskraft på mellem ca. 2 N og 5 N målt ved anvendelse af en fyldt sprøjte ved en propvandringshastighed på 190 mm/minut over en vandringslængde på 10,9 mm med en 30G x 0,5-inch kanyle monteret til sprøjten.
2. Fyldt sprøjte ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor sprøjtecylinderen har en indvendig belægning af silikoneolie med en gennemsnitstykkelse på ca. 450 nm eller mindre, fortrinsvis 400 nm eller mindre, fortrinsvis 350 nm eller mindre, fortrinsvis 300 nm eller mindre, fortrinsvis 200 nm eller mindre, fortrinsvis 100 nm eller mindre, fortrinsvis 50 nm eller mindre, fortrinsvis 20 nm eller mindre.
3. Fyldt sprøjte ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor sprøjtecylinderen har en indvendig belægning af ca. 10 pg-ca. 50 pg silikoneolie.
4. Fyldt sprøjte ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor VEGF-antagonistopløsningen yderligere omfatter en eller flere af (i) højst 5 partikler, der er > 25 pm i diameter, pr. ml og (ii) højst 50 partikler, der er > 10 pm i diameter, pr. ml.
5. Fyldt sprøjte ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor sprøjten har en propglidekraft på mindre end 5 N.
6. Blisterpakning, der omfatter en fyldt sprøjte ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor sprøjten er blevet steriliseret ved anvendelse af H2O2 eller EtO, og hvor den ydre overflade af sprøjten har en EtO- eller H2O2-rest på < 1 ppm.
7. Blisterpakning ifølge krav 6, hvor sprøjten er blevet steriliseret ved anvendelse af EtO eller H2O2, og den samlede EtO- eller H2O2-rest, der findes uden på sprøjten og inde i blisterpakningen er < 0,1 mg.
8. Blisterpakning ifølge krav 6 eller 7, hvor < 5 % af ranibizumab er alkyleret.
9. Kit, der omfatter: (i) en fyldt sprøjte ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-5 eller en blisterpakning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 6-7, (ii) en kanyle og eventuelt (iii) en administrationsvejledning.
10. Fyldt sprøjte ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-5 til anvendelse til terapi.
11. Fyldt sprøjte ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-5 til anvendelse til behandling af en øjensygdom, der er valgt blandt choroidal neovaskularisering, våd aldersrelateret makuladegeneration, makulaødem, der er sekundært til retinal veneokklusion (RVO), herunder både gren-RVO (bRVO) og central-RVO (cRVO), choroidal neovaskularisering, der er sekundær til patologisk myopi (PM), diabetisk makulaødem (DME), diabetisk retinopati og proliferativ retinopati.
