Claims (34)
1. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung zum Eingeben von
Steuersignalen in einen Computer und zum Ausgeben von
Kräften an einen Benutzer der Vorrichtung, wobei die
Vorrichtung folgendes umfaßt:
ein Gehäuse mit einem ortsfesten Teil und einem beweglichen Teil, wobei der Benutzer sowohl den ortsfesten Teil als auch den beweglichen Teil des Gehäuses berührt, wenn er die Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung verwendet;
eine Kopplung, die zwischen den beweglichen Teil und den ortsfesten Teil gekoppelt ist und ermöglicht, daß sich der bewegliche Teil relativ zu dem ortsfesten Teil in einer zu einer Außenfläche des beweglichen Teils parallelen Richtung bewegt; und
ein Stellglied, das mit der Kopplung gekoppelt ist, wobei das Stellglied eine Kraft an der Kopplung ausgibt, um zu bewirken, daß sich der bewegliche Teil bezüglich des ortsfesten Teils bewegt.
ein Gehäuse mit einem ortsfesten Teil und einem beweglichen Teil, wobei der Benutzer sowohl den ortsfesten Teil als auch den beweglichen Teil des Gehäuses berührt, wenn er die Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung verwendet;
eine Kopplung, die zwischen den beweglichen Teil und den ortsfesten Teil gekoppelt ist und ermöglicht, daß sich der bewegliche Teil relativ zu dem ortsfesten Teil in einer zu einer Außenfläche des beweglichen Teils parallelen Richtung bewegt; und
ein Stellglied, das mit der Kopplung gekoppelt ist, wobei das Stellglied eine Kraft an der Kopplung ausgibt, um zu bewirken, daß sich der bewegliche Teil bezüglich des ortsfesten Teils bewegt.
2. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 1,
wobei die Kopplung ein Biegeelement ist.
3. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 2,
wobei das Stellglied eine Schwingungskraft ausgibt, um zu
bewirken, daß der bewegliche Teil schwingt.
4. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 1,
wobei der bewegliche Teil in Scherung mit der Haut eines
Fingers des Benutzers, der die Oberfläche des beweglichen
Teils berührt, gleitet.
5. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 1,
welche ferner ein Bedienelement umfaßt, das von dem
Benutzer bedienbar ist und bezüglich des beweglichen Teils
derart angeordnet ist, daß der Benutzer die Kraft an dem
beweglichen Teil fühlt, wenn er das Bedienelement bedient.
6. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 5,
wobei das Bedienelement eine Taste ist.
7. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 6,
wobei die Taste unter Verwendung eines Tastenstellgliedes
mit einer Kraftrückkopplung in einem Freiheitsgrad versehen
wird.
8. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 5,
wobei das Bedienelement ein erstes Zangenelement umfaßt und
ferner ein zweites Zangenelement umfaßt, das für den
Benutzer auf einer anderen Seite des Gehäuses vom ersten
Zangenelement zugänglich ist.
9. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 8,
wobei das erste und das zweite Zangenelement in einem
Freiheitsgrad ungefähr innerhalb einer einzelnen Ebene
beweglich sind, wobei, wenn eines der Elemente bewegt wird,
das andere der Elemente ebenfalls bewegt wird.
10. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 1,
welche ferner einen Sensor umfaßt, der mit dem Gehäuse
gekoppelt ist und zum Erfassen einer Bewegung des
beweglichen Teils bezüglich des ortsfesten Teils wirksam
ist.
11. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 1,
wobei die Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung eine
Mastervorrichtung ist, die eine Slavevorrichtung in einem
Fernbedienungssystem steuert.
12. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 3,
wobei das Biegeelement zwei Biegeelemente umfaßt, wobei
jedes der Biegeelemente zwischen den beweglichen Teil und
den ortsfesten Teil gekoppelt ist und wobei das Stellglied
eine Kraft an einem der Biegeelemente ausgibt.
13. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch 1,
wobei der Computer eine graphische Umgebung anzeigt, mit
der der Benutzer unter Verwendung der Steuervorrichtung in
Dialogverkehr steht.
14. Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung nach Anspruch
13, wobei die Vorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung eine
Spielsteuereinheit ist und der Computer ein Spiel anzeigt.
15. Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung
und in Dialogverkehr mit einem Hauptrechner, wobei die
Schnittstellenvorrichtung folgendes umfaßt:
ein Gehäuse mit einem ortsfesten Teil und einem beweglichen Teil, wobei ein Benutzer eine Außenfläche des Gehäuses berührt, wenn er die Vorrichtung verwendet;
ein ergreifbares Bedienelement, das wirksam ist zum Aufnehmen eines Fingers des Benutzers durch eine Öffnung in dem beweglichen Teil in dem Gehäuse, so daß der bewegliche Teil zumindest teilweise das ergreifbare Bedienelement umgibt, wobei das ergreifbare Bedienelement ein Signal ausgibt, wenn es durch den Finger des Benutzers betätigt wird, wobei das Signal vom Hauptrechner empfangen wird; und
ein Stellglied, das mit dem Gehäuse gekoppelt ist und zum Ausgeben einer Kraft an dem beweglichen Teil des Gehäuses wirksam ist, um zu bewirken, daß der bewegliche Teil bezüglich des ortsfesten Teils des Gehäuses schwingt, so daß der Benutzer, der mit dem Bedienelement mit dem Finger in Eingriff steht, eine Scherschwingung an dem Finger fühlt.
ein Gehäuse mit einem ortsfesten Teil und einem beweglichen Teil, wobei ein Benutzer eine Außenfläche des Gehäuses berührt, wenn er die Vorrichtung verwendet;
ein ergreifbares Bedienelement, das wirksam ist zum Aufnehmen eines Fingers des Benutzers durch eine Öffnung in dem beweglichen Teil in dem Gehäuse, so daß der bewegliche Teil zumindest teilweise das ergreifbare Bedienelement umgibt, wobei das ergreifbare Bedienelement ein Signal ausgibt, wenn es durch den Finger des Benutzers betätigt wird, wobei das Signal vom Hauptrechner empfangen wird; und
ein Stellglied, das mit dem Gehäuse gekoppelt ist und zum Ausgeben einer Kraft an dem beweglichen Teil des Gehäuses wirksam ist, um zu bewirken, daß der bewegliche Teil bezüglich des ortsfesten Teils des Gehäuses schwingt, so daß der Benutzer, der mit dem Bedienelement mit dem Finger in Eingriff steht, eine Scherschwingung an dem Finger fühlt.
16. Schnittstellenvorrichtung nach Anspruch 15, wobei das
ergreifbare Bedienelement eine Fingerauflage ist, die zum
Aufnehmen des Fingers eines Benutzers durch eine Öffnung in
dem Gehäuse wirksam ist, wobei die Fingerauflage mit einem
beweglichen Element gekoppelt ist.
17. Schnittstellenvorrichtung nach Anspruch 15, wobei das
Stellglied ein erstes Stellglied ist, und welche ferner ein
zweites Stellglied umfaßt, das mit dem Gehäuse gekoppelt
ist und zum Ausgeben einer Kraft an dem beweglichen Element
wirksam ist.
18. Schnittstellenvorrichtung nach Anspruch 15, wobei das
ergreifbare Bedienelement eine Taste ist, wobei das Signal
auf einen Zustand der Taste reagiert.
19. Schnittstellenvorrichtung nach Anspruch 15, wobei das
ergreifbare Bedienelement ein Steuerpaddel mit 4 Richtungen
mit mindestens vier Richtungstasten ist und zum Ausgeben
eines Signals, das einen Zustand von mindestens einer der
Richtungstasten anzeigt, wirksam ist.
20. Schnittstellenvorrichtung nach Anspruch 15, wobei der
bewegliche Teil des Gehäuses das ergreifbare Bedienelement
vollständig umgibt.
21. Schnittstellenvorrichtung nach Anspruch 15, welche
ferner einen Sensor umfaßt, der mit dem beweglichen Element
gekoppelt ist und zum Erfassen einer Bewegung des
beweglichen Elements in einem Drehfreiheitsgrad wirksam
ist.
22. Schnittstellenvorrichtung nach Anspruch 21, wobei die
Öffnung eine erste Öffnung ist, und welche ferner eine
zweite Fingerauflage umfaßt, die mit einem beweglichen
Element gekoppelt ist und zum Aufnehmen eines Fingers des
Benutzers durch eine zweite Öffnung in dem Gehäuse wirksam
ist, wobei die zweite Öffnung auf einer anderen Seite des
Gehäuses als die Öffnung liegt.
23. Schnittstellenvorrichtung nach Anspruch 22, wobei sich
die Fingerauflagen als Zangenelemente entweder zueinander
hin oder voneinander weg bewegen.
24. Schnittstellenvorrichtung nach Anspruch 22, welche
ferner eine Rolle, die mit dem Gehäuse gekoppelt ist und
zum Drehen um eine Achse wirksam ist, und einen Sensor, der
mit der Rolle gekoppelt ist und zum Ausgeben eines
Sensorsignals wirksam ist, das eine Position der Rolle um
die Achse angibt, umfaßt.
25. Schnittstellenvorrichtung nach Anspruch 24, welche
ferner ein Rollenstellglied umfaßt, das mit der Rolle
gekoppelt ist, wobei das Rollenstellglied Kräfte an der
Rolle ausgibt.
26. Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung,
wobei die Vorrichtung folgendes umfaßt:
eine ortsfeste Oberfläche, wobei der Benutzer mit der ortsfesten Oberfläche in Eingriff steht, wenn er die Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung bedient;
eine bewegliche Oberfläche, wobei der Benutzer mit der beweglichen Oberfläche in Eingriff steht, wenn er die Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung bedient;
eine Kopplung, die zwischen die bewegliche Oberfläche und die ortsfeste Oberfläche gekoppelt ist und ermöglicht, daß sich die bewegliche Oberfläche relativ zu der ortsfesten Oberfläche in einer zu der beweglichen Oberfläche parallelen Richtung bewegt; und
ein Stellglied, das mit der Kopplung gekoppelt ist, wobei das Stellglied eine Kraft an der Kopplung ausgibt, um zu bewirken, daß sich die bewegliche Oberfläche bezüglich der ortsfesten Oberfläche bewegt.
eine ortsfeste Oberfläche, wobei der Benutzer mit der ortsfesten Oberfläche in Eingriff steht, wenn er die Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung bedient;
eine bewegliche Oberfläche, wobei der Benutzer mit der beweglichen Oberfläche in Eingriff steht, wenn er die Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung bedient;
eine Kopplung, die zwischen die bewegliche Oberfläche und die ortsfeste Oberfläche gekoppelt ist und ermöglicht, daß sich die bewegliche Oberfläche relativ zu der ortsfesten Oberfläche in einer zu der beweglichen Oberfläche parallelen Richtung bewegt; und
ein Stellglied, das mit der Kopplung gekoppelt ist, wobei das Stellglied eine Kraft an der Kopplung ausgibt, um zu bewirken, daß sich die bewegliche Oberfläche bezüglich der ortsfesten Oberfläche bewegt.
27. Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung
nach Anspruch 26, wobei das Stellglied bewirkt, daß die
bewegliche Oberfläche bezüglich der ortsfesten Oberfläche
schwingt.
28. Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung
nach Anspruch 26, welche ferner ein Bedienelement umfaßt,
das von der beweglichen Oberfläche umgeben ist, wobei das
Bedienelement ein Eingangssignal in einen Hauptrechner in
Dialogverkehr mit der Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit
taktiler Rückkopplung vorsieht.
29. Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung
nach Anspruch 28, wobei der Hauptrechner eine graphische
Umgebung anzeigt, mit der der Benutzer unter Verwendung des
Bedienelements in Dialogverkehr steht.
30. Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung
nach Anspruch 29, wobei die Vorrichtung mit taktiler
Rückkopplung eine Spielsteuereinheit ist und der Computer
ein Spiel anzeigt.
31. Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung
nach Anspruch 28, wobei das Bedienelement eine Taste ist.
32. Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung
nach Anspruch 31, wobei die Taste unter Verwendung eines
Tastenstellgliedes mit einer Kraftrückkopplung in einem
Freiheitsgrad versehen wird.
33. Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung
nach Anspruch 26, wobei die Kopplung ein Biegeelement ist.
34. Schnittstellenvorrichtung mit taktiler Rückkopplung
nach Anspruch 26, wobei die bewegliche Oberfläche in
Scherung mit der Haut eines Fingers des Benutzers, der die
bewegliche Oberfläche berührt, gleitet.
