Die Siliconindustrie unternimmt große Anstrengungen zum Auffinden neuer Systeme, durch die sich
jo anstehende Probleme lösen lassen. So lag beispielsweise
auf dem Gebiet der Trennüberzüge das Hauptgewicht der letzten 10 Jahre bei der Suche nach Massen, die sich
bei verhältnismäßig niederen Temperaturen schnell härten lassen. Die Verwendung von Katalysatoren, die
zu solchen Ergebnissen führte, brachte jedoch Probleme der Badstabilität und unerwünschter Nebenreaktionen,
beispielsweise ein Blocken, mit sich. Systeme auf Lösungsmittelbasis unterliegen darüber hinaus aufgrund
ökologischer Überlegungen und der Knappheit organischer Lösungsmittel ernsthaften Beschränkungen.
Aus DE-OS 21 53 860 sind bereits photopolymerisierbare
Gemische aus vinylgruppenhaltigen Polysiloxanen und Photosensibilisatoren bekannt Diese Massen lassen
sich leider jedoch nur auf Metallträger, Glas oder Kunststoffträger aufziehen, da sie sogar nach Einwirkung
von Ultraviolettlicht noch einer abschließenden Hitzehärtung unterzogen werden müssen. Zum Beschichten
von hitzeempfindlichen Trägern, von Papier, können diese Massen daher nicht verwendet werden, da
ein solches Material bei der zur Hitzehärtung notwendigen erhöhten Temperatur Schaden erleidet.

Die Verwendung von Ultraviolettlicht zum Härten von Polymeren ist an sich zwar nicht neu, es zeigte sich nun jedoch, daß sich die vorliegende bestimmte einzigartige Formmasse nicht nur durch Einwirkung von Ultravioletüicht härten läßt, sondern daß man mit ihr gleichzeitig auch verschiedene andere Ziele und Vorteile erreicht, die sich die Technik schon lange wünschte. Im Gegensatz zu bekannten üblichen Massen läßt sich die vorliegende Formmasse ohne Erhitzen lediglich durch Einwirkung von Ultraviolettlicht innerhalb vernünftiger Zeit härten. Man braucht hierbei zudem keinen Katalysator, und das erhaltene Produkt ist daher auch nicht durch Katalysatorreste verunreinigt Die Formmasse verfügt über sine lange Badbeständigkeit und läßt sich als solche, d.h. frei von organischem Lösungsmittel, verwenden, es bestehen hier somit keine ökologischen Probleme wie bei den bekannten Massen. Für die Härtung*einheit, die von der erfindungsgemäßen Formmasse Gebrauch macht, ist ferner weniger Raum erforderlich, w s weitere Einsparungen bringt Die Formmasse läßt sich schließlich im allgemeinen billiger härten, so daß auch hier Kosten gespart werden können. Gleichzeitig ergeben sich hierdurch Überzüge mit niedriger Trennkraft, stabilem -to Trennverhalten und hervorragender Abriebfestigkeit.

Die erfindungsgemäße Masse kann flüssig, harzartig oder elastomer sein. Sie findet Anwendung für
Trennüberzüge, Anstrichmittel, elektrische Überzüge, beispielsweise für Schaltbretter, zum Einkapseln elektrischer
Komponenten, für lithographische Überzüge, photoresistente Überzüge oder Überzüge für Gewebe.
Beispiele für den Rest R" beim Silsesquioxan (3) sind
Methylen-, Äthylen-, Propylen-, Butylen-, Isobutylen-, Hexylen-, Dodecylen- oder Octadecylenreste.
Beispiele für den Substituenten R'" des Silsesquioxans
(3) sind Alkyl-, Alkenyl-, Alkinyl-, Aryl-, Aralkyl-, Alkaryl-, Chlormethyl-, Chlorpropyl-, Chlorphenyl-,
Dichlorphenyl-, Brompropyl-, 333-Trifluorpropyl- oder
alpha.alpha.alpha-Trifluortoluylreste. Der Substituent
R'" enthält vorzugsweise 1 bis 30 Kohlenstoffatome.
Für den Substituenten kommen die gleichen typischen Reste in Frage wie beim Substituenten R'". An
jedes Siliciumatom können wie angegeben 0,1,2 oder 3
Substituenten R"" gebunden sein. Obwohl es selbstver- e>o
ständlich ist, wird an dieser Stelle doch darauf hingewiesen, daß, wenn man beispielsweise davon
spricht, daß 0, 1, 2 oder 3 Substituenten R"" (oder sonstige Variationen bezüglich Resten bei anderen
Formeln) an das Siliciumatom gebunden sein sollen, dabei auch Kombinationen von Einheiten verschiedener
Substitutionsgrade verstanden werden. Es kann sich daher demnach hier um Copolymere mit Siloxaneinheiten
handeln, die zwei Reste R"" pro Siliciumatom aufweisen, oder die Einheiten mit drei Substituenten
R"" pro Siliciumaton enthalten oder beide Einheiten zugleich.
Das vinylhaltige Siloxan (1) kann von niedermolekularen
Flüssigkeiten, wie Vinylmethylcyclotetrasiloxan, bis zu hochmolekularen Produkten mit einem Molekulargewicht
von 1 Million oder darüber reichen.
Beispiele für den Substituenten R sind die gleichen, wie sie oben im Zusammenhang mit dem Substituenten
R'" angegeben wurden.
Typische Beispiele für den Substituenten R' sind diejenigen, wie sie oben für den Substituenten R'"
bereits erwähnt wurden, mit der Ausnahme, daß der Substituent R' nicht für CH2=CH- stehen kann.
Als Photosensibilisatoren (2) geeignete Materialien sind dem Fachmann bekannt Zu ihnen gehören
beispielsweise Acetophenon, Propiophenon, Benzophenon, Xanthon, Fluorenon, Benzaldehyd, Fluoren, Anthrachinon,
Triphenylamin, Carbazol, 3-Methylacetophenon, 4-MethyIacetophenon, 3-Pentylacetophenon,
4-Methoxyacetophenon, 3-Bromacetophenon, 4-AIIy!-
acetophenon, p-Diacetylbenzol, 3-Methoxybenzophenon,
4-Methylbenzophenon, 4-Chlorbenzophenon, 4,4'-Dimethoxybenzophenon,
4-Chlor-4'-benzyIbenzophenon, 3-Chlorxanthon, 3,9-Dichlorxanthon oder 3-Chlor-8-nonylxanthon.
Die von einem solchen Material verwendete Menge miß nur zu einer Photosensibilisierung
des Systems ausreichen, und sie liegt normalerweise zwischen 0,01 und 20 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf
das Gewicht der vorhandenen Polysiloxane. Die Menge an Photosensibilisiermittel beträgt im allgemeinen
vorzugsweise 0,1 bis 5%.
Die erfindungsgemäße Formmasse läßt sich am besten härten, indem man sie Ultraviolettlicht mit einer
Wellenlänge von 2537 Ä aussetzt Zum Härten kann man jede Ultraviolettlichtquelle verwenden, die die
obenerwähnte Wellenlänge abstrahlt Die Ultraviolettlichtquelle sollte natürlich vorzugsweise diese Wellenlänge
als überwiegende Linie enthaLK'n, da sich sonst
Probleme beim Härten innerhalb vernünftiger Zeit ergeben. Im Handel gibt es eine Reihe von Ultraviolettlampen,
die Ultraviolettlicht im Bereich von 2000 bis 4000 Ä aussenden und die die obige Wellenlänge als
vorwiegende Linie enthalten. Daneben gibt es eine Reihe von Möglichkeiten, die Härtungszeit ansteuern,
um so speziellen Wünschen und Bedürfnissen gerecht zu werden. So läßt sich die Härtungszeit beispielsweise
durch die Zahl der verwendeten Ultraviolettlampen, durch die Verweilzeit, nämlich die Zeit der Einwirkung
des Ultraviolettlichts auf die Formmasse und die Entfernung der Formmasse von der Ultraviolettlichtquelle
beim Härten steuern.
Die Erfindung wird anhand des folgenden Beispiels näher erläutert. In diesem Beispiel sind alle Teile und
Prozentmengen auf das Gewicht bezogen und alle Viskositäten bei 25°C gemessen, sofern nichts anderes
angegeben ist.
Eine Formmasse wird hergestellt aus im wesentlichen 1 g eines trimethylsiloxyendblockierten Polymeren aus
etwa 96 Molprozent (CHj)2SiC)- Einheiten und etwa
4 Molprozent CH2 = CH(CHj)SiO-Einheiten und Ig
eines Polymeren aus etwa 99 Molprozent (CH3J2SiO-

Einheiten und etwa 1 Molprozent HS(CH2)3SiO3/2-Ein- Sekunden eine in einem Abstand von etwa 5 cm
heiten sowie einer kleinen Menge Azobisisobutlersäu- angeordnete 250-Watt-UV-Lampe (35 Watt bei 2537 A)
renitril als Photosensibilisator. Diese Formmasse wird einwirken. Der Überzug härtet innerhalb dieser Zeit zu
auf 18,1 kg superkalandriertes Kraftpapier aufgetragen, einem nicht mehr schmierenden und abriebfesten
und auf das beschichtete Papier läßt man dann 360 s Produkt.
Claims (1)
- Patentansprüche:1, Durch UltravioletUicht härtbare Formmasse aus (1) einem Polysiloxan aus 0,1 bis 100 Molprozent vinylhaltigen Siloxaneinheiten der Formel(CH2=CH)R11SiO1^,worin R für einen einwertigen Kohlenwasserstoff- oder einen einwertigen Halogenkohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 30 Kohlenstoffatomen steht und π einen Wert von 0 bis 2 hat, wobei irgendwelche in der Komponente (1) vorhandene nichtvinylhaltige Siloxaneinheiten die allgemeine FormelGegenstand der Erfindung ist eine durch Ultraviolettlicht härtbare Formmasse aus(1) einem Polysiloxan aus 0,1 bis 100 Molprozent vinylhaltigen Siloxaneinheiten der Formel
