Abstract
Un método para alimentar y quemar un combustible pulverizado en un horno de fundición de vidrio del tipo que incluye una región de fundición de vidrio forrada con material refractario y una pluralidad de quemadores asociados con regeneradores sellados en el horno de fundición de vidrio, los cuales actúan como intercambiadores de calor, el método comprende un combustible pulverizado del tipo que comprende carbón fijo y materiales impuros como sulfuro, nitrógeno, vanadio, hierro y níquel o mezcla de los mismos, a cada uno de dichos quemadores asociados con los regeneradores sellados de dicho horno de fundición de vidrio;Quemar dicho combustible pulverizado por cada uno de dichos quemadores en la región de fundición de dicho horno de fundición, proveyendo una flama por cada quemador, para llevar a cabo un proceso de combustión en dicha región de fundición para el fundido del vidrio;Controlar las emisiones de carbón y materiales impuros que se producen por el quemado de dicho combustible pulverizado con medios de control ambiental, dichos medios de control ambiental siendo localizados en una salida de gases de desperdicio de dicho horno de fundición de vidrio, para limpiar los gases de combustión y reducir la emisión de impurezas del combustible pulverizado tales como SOx, NOx y partículas de materia, dicha reducción de emisiones siendo controladas durante y después que la combustión del combustible pulverizado en el horno de fundición de vidrio ha sido llevada a cabo;y contrarrestar los efectos abrasivos y erosivos del combustible pulverizado en el horno de fundición de vidrio a través de medios refractarios en dicho horno de fundición de vidrio.<EMI FILE="02026990_1" ID="1" IMF=JPEG >
