Abstract
Un metodo y un sistema para alimentar y quemar un combustible pulverizado, tal como, coque de petroleo, en un horno de fundicion de vidrio, el cual incluye una region de fundicion de vidrio y una pluralidad de quemadores asociados con un par de camaras regenerativas selladas dispuestas en una relacion lado con lado, las cuales actuan como intercambiadores de calor, los quemadores son arreglados en una serie de puertos que estan asociados con la region de fundicion de vidrio del horno. El sistema incluye medios para suministrar el combustible pulverizado por cada uno de los quemadores para fundir la materia prima para producir el vidrio.
