Description

背景技术
本发明总地涉及一种焊接系统,并且更具体地涉及用于远程地显示和改变电力供应装置设置的感测系统。
焊接是在各种产业中已变得普遍地用于各种类型的应用的工艺。例如,焊接通常在诸如造船业、飞机修理、建筑业之类的应用中进行。焊接系统通常包括电力供应装置,电力供应装置可产生用于在焊接工艺期间耗用的电力。然而,这些电力供应装置通常可能远离工作区域,由此如果用户改变电力供应装置的设置的话,由于用户为了作出这些改变而走向电力供应装置和离开电力供应装置,会导致延时。
发明内容

具体实施方式
如将在下文详细描述的那样,本文提供了用于远程地观察和控制电力供应装置的系统和方法。通过远程地观察和控制电力供应装置,操作者可用期望的参数下对工件进行焊接,而无需从工件处走开。在其他实施例中,焊接操作者可控制焊接的参数,而无需花费宝贵的焊接时间走向电力供应装置去观察和控制电力供应装置。因此,操作者可用期望的参数更快速且有效地进行焊接。此外,操作者可在焊接之前确认焊接参数而没有显著的延时,当必须走回至电力供应装置以改变焊接参数时则可能需要这样的延时。
现转向附图,图1是根据本技术的焊接系统10的实施例的框图。焊接系统10设计成与工件14(例如,管件)产生焊接电弧12。焊接电弧12可由任何类型的焊接系统或工艺产生,并且能以任何期望的方式取向。例如,此类焊接系统可包括气体保护金属电弧焊接(GMAW)系统,并且可使用各种经编程的波形和设置。焊接系统10包括电力供应装置16,电力供应装置16通常联接于电源18,例如电网、发动机或者其组合(例如,混合式动力)。当然,也可使用其他电源,包括发电机等等。在所示出的实施例中,送丝机20联接至气体源22和电力供应装置16,并将焊丝24供给至焊炬26。焊炬26配置成在焊炬26和工件14之间产生焊接电弧12。焊丝24通过焊炬26被送至焊接电弧12,由焊接电弧12熔化并且沉积在工件14上。
送丝机20通常将包括送丝机控制电路28,该控制电路28(除了做其它事情外)调节焊丝24从线卷29的馈送并且还对电力供应装置16的输出给予命令。类似地,电力供应装置16可包括电力供应装置控制电路30,该电力供应装置控制电路30用于监测和控制某些焊接参数和起弧参数。在某些实施例中,送丝机控制电路28或电力供应装置控制电路30可包括软件、硬件或其组合。例如,在某些实施例中,送丝机控制电路28和/或电力供应装置控制电路30可包括处理器和有形的非瞬态计算机可读存储器,所述存储器配置成存储需由处理器执行的指令。在一些实施例中,送丝机控制电路28可通过焊接电缆31与电力供应装置控制电路30通信,该焊接电缆31也用于向送丝机20供电。在一些实施例中,电力供应装置控制电路30可被包围在电力供应装置16的壳体中。在一些实施例中,至少一些处理可通过另一处理器(例如,头盔中的处理器)来执行。
送丝机20的线卷29会容纳在焊接操作期间消耗的一定长度的焊丝24。焊丝24通常借助于电动机而由丝驱动组件32进给,该电动机用于驱动轮子34和36,这些轮子用于使得焊丝24进给。在一些实施例中,电动机在控制电路28的控制下。此外,工件14可由连接于工作电缆40的夹具38联接于电力供应装置16,以当在焊炬26和工件14之间建立焊接电弧12时补全电气电路。
将焊炬26布置在靠近工件14的位置处允许由电力供应装置16提供并且行进至焊炬26的电流能从焊炬26至工件14形成电弧。如上所述,此种电弧补全包括电力供应装置16、焊炬26、工件14以及工作电缆40的电气电路。具体地说,在操作中,电流从电力供应装置16通往焊炬26、至工件14,其通常经由工作电缆40返回连接于电力供应装置16。电弧产生相对较大的热量,该热量导致工件14的一部分和焊丝24的填充金属转换成熔化状态,其熔化材料以形成焊接部。
在某些实施例中,为了在焊接期间保护焊接区域免受氧化或污染,为了增强电弧性能并且为了改善所产生的焊接部,焊接系统10还可将惰性保护气体从气体源22馈送至焊炬26。然而,值得注意的是,用于保护焊接位置的各种保护材料(包括活性气体和颗粒固体)可作为惰性保护气体的附加或替代来使用。此外,在其他焊接工艺中,可并不使用此种气体,而这里公开的技术同样是可适用的。
虽然图1示出GMAW系统,但目前所公开的技术可类似地适用于其他类型的焊接系统,尤其是包括气体钨电弧焊接(GTAW)系统和保护金属电弧焊接(SMAW)系统。因此,根据专门针对实施方式的考虑,基于传感器的电力供应装置控制的实施例可用于包括送丝机20和气体源22的焊接系统或者用于并不包括送丝机20和/或气体源22的系统(例如,焊炬26直接地联接于电力供应装置16的实施例)。
目前公开的实施例涉及远程电力供应装置监测、观察以及控制。在一些实施例中,与电力供应装置16相关联的数据可发送至焊接头盔42并且呈现给佩戴头盔42的操作者。在一些实施例中,该数据可向操作者视觉地或听觉地呈现。此外,视觉数据可包括由一个或多个摄像机44所获取的电力供应装置16的图像,这些图像示出电力供应装置16的设置。在某些实施例中,操作者可基于所呈现的参数来远程地修改参数。例如,在某些实施例中,操作者可在头盔42中说出听觉命令或者发出由头盔42或者焊炬26、头盔42、手套和/或其他合适位置中的惯性测量单元(IMU)46所检测到的命令。在一些实施例中,这些命令可经由在正执行焊接的区域中的摄像机和其他感测设备来检测。另外或替代地,一些命令可经由诸如计算机、智能电话、平板电脑之类的电子装置或者能够从操作者接收输入的其他电子装置来接收。
在某些实施例中,IMU 46可包括加速度计、磁力计、速率传感器(例如,螺旋仪传感器)或者能够测量操作者的运动的其他传感器。如这里所使用的,速率传感器可包括基于MEM的传感器或者提供指示三维坐标系内的角速度变化率的信号输出的任何装置。例如,单轴速率传感器会指示关于正交于传感器的参考平面的单个坐标轴的变化率。加速度计可包括能够测量诸如焊接摆动之类动态运动的单个三轴加速度计。在其他实施例中,加速度计可包括一个或多个取向传感器,以确定焊炬26的取向在一个或多个维度中的改变。例如,可基于两个加速度计来计算相对于平行于重力方向的平面的二维位置。在一些实施例中,速率传感器可包括一个或多个速率传感器,诸如单个三轴速率传感器。电力供应装置控制电路30和/或送丝机控制电路28可使用速率传感器来补充来自加速度计的数据,以测量较小或较精细的运动。在某些实施例中,磁力计可包括一个或多个磁力计传感器,诸如单个三轴磁力计。电力供应装置控制电路30和/或送丝机控制电路28可使用磁力计,来确定磁场中的变化,例如焊炬26或其他对象在焊接区域中的运动。在IMU46中使用一个或多个传感器类型,焊接系统10经由控制电路30和/或送丝机控制电路28可接收检测到的运动数据,所述检测到的运动数据能控制电力供应装置16。
使用来自一个或多个传感器的数据,电力供应装置控制电路30和/或送丝机控制电路28可控制电力供应装置16,以由操作者根据需要来改变一个或多个参数,而无需操作者本身走向电力供应装置16。如前所述,焊接头盔42可经由显示器——例如包括在图2的焊接头盔42内部的显示器48——来显示所要控制的参数、电力供应装置16或者电力供应装置16的表征。在某些实施例中,显示器48可包括电子屏幕,其用于替代传统焊接头盔的观察区域。例如,在一些实施例中,可将焊接头盔的自动变暗玻璃去除并且由显示器48来替换。在某些实施例中,显示器48可包括两个单独的显示器,每个显示器均能够独立于另一个显示器地示出图像。在这些实施例中,两个显示器均可用于示出各种对象——例如工作区域和/或电力供应装置16——的立体视图。
在其他实施例中,可将清晰的显示器48层叠到焊接头盔的玻璃上。图3示出显示器48的层50,其可布置在头盔42的观察区域中。虽然层50包括五个层,但在一些实施例中,可包括附加的层,可省略一些层,两个或更多个层可组合成单个层,和/或一些层能分成多个不同的层(例如,偏振层、晶体管层等等)。换言之,在一些实施例中,层50可包括1个、2个、3个、4个、5个、6个或更多个层。在图示的实施例中,层50包括内部透明层52、透明显示层54、隔离层56、自动变暗层58以及外部透明层60。内部透明层52可保护显示层54以免与头盔42内的对象接触和/或受其损害,同时使得佩戴头盔42的用户能看到由透明显示层54所示出的图像。例如,在一些实施例中,内部透明层52可包括玻璃或透明塑料。
透明显示层54可包括显示器电路,其使得用户能看到所产生并且意图显示的图像,同时仍透过透明显示器电路层54来观察用户的实际周围区域。例如,透明显示层54可包括透明液晶显示器(LCD)、有机发光二极管(OLED)显示器或者使得操作者能看到显示层54上的内容、同时仍能够看穿显示层54的其他显示器。在一些实施例中,透明显示层54可包括棱镜,其反射被投影至棱镜的一个或多个部分的图像。如下文所描述地,在一些实施例中,显示层54可仅仅能够在观察区域的一部分上的显示图像。然而,在一些实施例中,显示层54可涵盖头盔42的整个观察区域。
在一些实施例中,层50包括隔离层56,其将显示层54与自动变暗层58分开,以阻止显示层54和/或自动变暗层58的电子部件的操作干涉其他层或彼此干涉。在一些实施例中,隔离层56可包括透明显示层54的基底层。自动变暗层58可包括电致变色、光致变色、热致变色、悬浮颗粒、微盲或其他自动变暗的智能玻璃。在一些实施例中,显示层54和自动变暗层58可组合成单个层。例如,透明LCD的液晶可以用于通过在至少一些液晶上使用滤色器部分地关闭和/或显示图像来使入射光变暗。在一些实施例中,层50还可包括外部透明层60,其至少保护层50的其他层面免受头盔42外部的损伤。
参照图2,在一些实施例中,显示器48可经由斜面62联接于头盔42,该斜面容纳显示器电路并且将显示器48联接于显示器驱动电路64。在一些实施例中,显示器驱动电路64可包括用于显示层54的行和列像素控制件或者用于将图像投影到显示层54的棱镜上的投影装置。头盔42还可包括收发器66,其接收来自一个或多个远程装置(例如,摄像机44)的图像数据以及将信息返回至远程装置。在某些实施例中,收发器66可包括无线收发器,例如ZigBee、802.15.4、蓝牙、802.11和/或其他无线收发器。另外或替代地,收发器66可包括有线连接收发器。在一些实施例中,收发器66可以是接收视频数据的单向接收器。然而,在一些实施例中,收发器66可将来自头盔42的命令发送回至控制单元,例如电力供应装置控制电路30和/或送丝机控制电路28。例如,收发器66可发送由IMU 46检测的运动命令、由听觉命令单元68检测的听觉命令(例如,语音命令)和/或由摄像机70检测的视觉命令。在一些实施例中,至少在一些模式中,由于显示器42仅仅显示从摄像机70所捕获的图像而非接收来自远程位置的图像,因而收发器66可并不经由显示器42接收用于显示的图像。
在一些实施例中,头盔42可包括扬声器71,其用于将声音信息传送至用户。例如,扬声器71可经由收发器66接收来自电力供应装置控制电路30和/或送丝机控制电路28的听觉信号,其指示电力供应装置参数、来自用户的命令接收、电力供应装置16的类型或者可用于告知用户操作参数改变的其他信息,并且向用户产生此种信息的听觉指示。

图4是焊接系统10的实施例的立体图,该焊接系统能够监视焊接头盔42、焊炬26和/或手套74的位置,以检测来自操作者的控制命令。在所示出的焊接系统10中,操作者76在焊接的同时佩戴焊接头盔42。在某些实施例中,外部头盔位置检测传感器78在焊接作业区域中位于操作者76附近,以在评估焊接头盔42、焊炬26和/或手套74的位置和取向时对来自IMU 46的数据作出辅助。

在某些实施例中,显示器48可包括平视显示器(HUD)82,其告知用户电力供应装置16的各种参数和/或正使用的焊接过程。例如,HUD 82可包括工艺类型指示84、电流水平指示86、电压水平指示88以及链路指示90,和/或可有助于操作者了解焊接工艺的其他参数。工艺类型指示84指示当前正采用的焊接工艺类型,例如钨惰性气体(TIG)焊接、金属惰性气体(MIG)焊接、保护金属电弧焊接(SMAW)、气体保护金属电弧焊接(GMAW)或者其他合适的焊接工艺。电流水平指示86指示针对焊接工艺的电流水平。类似地,电压水平指示88指示针对焊接工艺的电压水平。此外,链路指示90指示从焊炬26向电力供应装置16的连接为有效还是失效的。在一些实施例中,链路指示90指示HUD 82有效地接收来自电力供应装置16的数据,并且当前所显示的参数是最近从电力供应装置16所接收的。
在一些实施例中,在观察工作视图80的同时,操作者可启动电力供应装置视图,其中显示器48示出电力供应装置92。在一些实施例中,电力供应装置92可以是对应于与电力供应装置16的类型相匹配的类型的漫画图或简化视图。在一些实施例中,电力供应装置92可以是之前保存的或经由摄像机44基本上实时示出的实际电力供应装置16的图像。在某些实施例中,电力供应装置92可包括各种信息和可控制元素,其可在电力供应装置16的前部上发现。例如,电力供应装置92可包括工艺选择拨盘94、电流单元96、电压单元98以及参数调节拨盘100。工艺选择拨盘94可用于设置焊接工艺所使用的并且由HUD 82的工艺指示器102所指示的工艺类型。类似地,电流单元96可显示也可反映在HUD 82的电流水平指示器104中的电流水平,而电压单元98可显示也可反映在HUD 82的电压水平指示器106中的电压水平。
在本实施例中,电压水平指示器106指示开路电压,其对应于当电力供应装置16从外部电路(例如,包括焊炬26和工件14的电路)断开时、在电力供应装置16的两个端子之间的电势差。在一些实施例中,参数调节拨盘100可用于调节电力供应装置16的电压、电流或者其他参数。虽然工艺选择拨盘94和参数调节拨盘100是拨盘,但在一些实施例中,拨盘94、100可由能够接收用户输入的任何其他可控制元素来替代,例如箭头、数字输入键盘等等。在一些实施例中,操作者可使用光标108来操作一个或多个参数。
在某些实施例中,光标可以是指示正在改变的是哪个参数的框或其他指示器。在一些实施例中,光标可使用姿势(例如,向上或向下的头部移动、向左或向右的头部移动、向上或向下的手势、向左或向右的手势)或者语音命令(例如,“左”)来移动。在一些实施例中,手势可包括水平挥动(例如,向左或向右)、竖直挥动(例如,向上或向下)、圆形运动(例如顺时针或逆时针打圈)、盘旋(例如,焊炬26的顺时针或逆时针转动)或者可由传感器识别的其他姿势。换言之,可对由传感器产生原始数据进行分析,以确定何时由操作者执行某些姿势。在一些实施例中,这些姿势可在与电力供应装置控制电路30和/或送丝机控制电路28通信之前由预处理器分析。在其他实施例中,电力供应装置控制电路30和/或送丝机控制电路28可分析来自传感器的原始数据以识别这些姿势。在一些实施例中,光标108和可控制元素可由语音命令(例如,“幅度增大5倍”)替代。
在一些实施例中,工艺选择拨盘94和/或参数调节拨盘100可省略或者与相应的显示器部分折叠在一起。例如,工艺选择拨盘94的功能性可包括在工艺指示器102中。在一些实施例中,显示器部分(例如,HUD 82的各部分)可仅仅在一个模式中是可操作的,而在另一模式中被锁住。例如,用户可发出诸如启动参数调节模式的“参数调节模式”之类的语音命令,以允许操作者能远程地修改电力供应装置参数。
虽然前文描述设想了显示经由焊接头盔42的电力供应装置监测和操作,但在一些实施例中,电力供应装置16的至少一些显示器和/或控制件可经由智能装置(例如,智能电话)来执行。例如,当智能装置位于与电力供应装置16相同的网络(例如,WiFi)上时,可采用控制应用来监视和改变电力供应装置16的参数。
图7示出可用于远程地监视和/或改变电力供应装置16的参数的过程110。过程110包括经由智能装置或焊接头盔来向远离电力供应装置16的用户显示电力供应装置16的一个或多个参数(框112)。工艺110还包括从远离电力供应装置16的用户接收命令(框114)。例如,这些命令可包括来自远离电力供应装置16的用户的姿势和/或音频命令,而无需直接地看到电力供应装置16。基于这些命令,可对电力供应装置16的至少一个参数进行调节(框116)。
例如,在某些实施例中,当焊接操作者正在执行焊接时,操作者的焊接头盔42可显示HUD 82,其示出电力供应装置16的参数。对于焊接的至少一部分,操作者可能期望改变电流。因此,操作者可说出“参数调节模式”或者按压焊接头盔42上的按钮。显示器48可从工作视图切换,以示出电力供应装置16的漫画。虽然操作者可使用手、头部和/或身体姿势来选择和修改参数,但操作者可能当前正在执行焊接并且可能不希望干扰电弧12。例如,对于某些焊接或者某些类型的焊接(例如,TIG对MIG),可能期望更大的敏感性。这样,操作者可向焊接头盔42中的麦克风说出“幅度增大5倍”。焊接头盔42将命令(或者作为原始音频、经处理音频或者该命令的数字表征)发送至控制装置,例如电力供应装置控制电路30。一旦控制装置接收作为语音命令或姿势的命令,该控制装置就增大电力供应装置16的电流。
虽然前文描述总地涉及显示电力供应装置信息,但在一些实施例中,其他信息也可作为附加的信息或者替代的信息而由显示器48所显示。确切地说,IMU 46或者其他传感器可确定关于焊接接头和/或可指示焊接接头的质量的工艺的参数。例如,IMU 46可用于确定焊炬26的行进速度。该信息可经由显示器48向用户显示。另外或替代地,可经由显示器48向用户提供基于所确定参数的焊接指令。例如,显示器48可示出向上箭头,以要求用户增大焊接的速度、电流或电压。另外或替代地,显示器48可指示用户修改焊炬26相对于焊接头盔42和/或工件14的取向。
虽然前文描述总地涉及焊炬,但在一些实施例中,运动感测可用于与焊接型工艺相关联的任何焊接型工具或附件。如这里所使用的,焊接类型指代与焊接相关的任何工艺,例如焊接、切割或者凿槽。此外,焊接型工具或者附件可以是在这些工艺中使用的任何工具或附件。例如,焊接型工具可包括焊炬、电极保持器、机加工工具或者可用在焊接型工艺中的其他类似工具。此外,焊接型附件可包括可佩戴装置,例如头盔、夹克、手套、手环或者可由操作者佩戴的其他装置。

Claims (9)
1.一种焊接系统,包括:
电力供应装置;
焊接头盔,所述焊接头盔包括:
电子显示器,所述电子显示器被配置成显示所述电力供应装置的表征,并且被配置成显示所述电力供应装置的一个或多个参数的一个或多个指示,其中所述电力供应装置的所述表征包括与所述一个或多个参数中的至少一个参数相对应的至少一个控制元素;以及
听觉命令单元,所述听觉命令单元被配置成接收来自操作者的听觉命令;以及
处理系统,所述处理系统通信地联接于所述听觉命令单元,并且被配置成在由所述电力供应装置供电的焊接过程期间调节所述一个或多个参数中的至少一个参数,并且至少部分地基于来自所述听觉命令单元的数据更新一个或多个参数在所述电子显示器上的所述一个或多个指示,
其中对所述至少一个参数的所述调节至少部分地基于至少一个特定的听觉命令,所述至少一个特定的听觉命令与来自操作者的用户输入相对应以调节所述电力供应装置的焊接参数,并且
其中,所述至少一个特定的听觉命令对应于所述电力供应装置的所述表征上的所述至少一个控制元素的操作,以反映所调节的焊接参数。
2.根据权利要求1所述的焊接系统,所述焊接系统包括惯性测量单元,所述惯性测量单元被配置成检测所述焊接头盔、焊接手套或者焊炬的运动,其中所述处理系统被配置成至少部分地基于所检测的所述焊接头盔、所述焊接手套或者所述焊炬的运动来调节所述至少一个参数。
3.根据权利要求1所述的焊接系统,其中所述电力供应装置的所述表征包括所述电力供应装置的图像、所述电力供应装置的简化表征或者平视显示器。
4.根据权利要求1所述的焊接系统,其中所述听觉命令单元包括麦克风,所述麦克风被配置成从所述操作者接收所述至少一个特定的听觉命令。
5.一种焊接系统,包括:
电力供应装置,所述电力供应装置被配置成提供焊接电力输出;
焊接头盔,所述焊接头盔包括:
电子显示器,所述电子显示器被配置成显示所述电力供应装置的表征、所述电力供应装置的一个或多个参数的一个或多个指示、以及光标,其中,所述电力供应装置的所述表征包括与所述一个或多个参数中的至少一个参数相对应的至少一个控制元素;以及
惯性测量单元,所述惯性测量单元被配置成检测来自操作者的所述焊接头盔的运动;以及
处理系统,所述处理系统通信地联接于所述惯性测量单元,并且被配置成在由所述电力供应装置供电的焊接过程期间至少部分地基于来自所述惯性测量单元的数据控制所述光标,
其中,所述惯性测量单元被配置成检测所述焊接头盔的至少一个特定运动,所述焊接头盔的所述至少一个特定运动与来自所述操作者的用户输入相对应,以调节所述电力供应装置的焊接参数,并且
其中,所述焊接头盔的所述至少一个特定运动导致所述光标的操作,以调节所述焊接参数。
6.根据权利要求5所述的焊接系统,其中所述至少一个控制元素在所述电子显示器上被示出为拨盘或旋钮。
7.根据权利要求5所述的焊接系统,所述焊接系统进一步包括被配置成接收来自所述操作者的听觉命令的听觉命令单元。
8.根据权利要求7所述的焊接系统,其中,所述处理系统被配置成至少部分地基于来自所述听觉命令单元的数据操作所述光标。
9.根据权利要求5所述的焊接系统,其中,所述光标是框或箭头。
