Abstract
本发明提供透过性复合反渗透膜及使用它的反渗透膜组件。向含间苯二胺的溶液,添加异丙醇,使多孔性聚砜支持膜在这种水溶液中接触数秒钟,除去多余的溶液,在支持膜上形成该溶液的层,使含均苯三酸酰氯和异丙醇的溶液在该表面上接触,此后,在热风干燥机中干燥,从而在支持膜上形成聚合体薄膜,得到复合反渗透膜。作为一个例子,这种复合反渗透膜,在490kPa压力下,含500ppm NaCl的pH为6.5的食盐水时,阻止率为95%,透过通量为1.1m3/m2·日,异丙醇的阻止率为65%。
Description
本发明涉及反渗透膜及使用它的反渗透膜组件。更具体地说,涉及能在低压下进行反渗透处理,且能效率优良地除去有机物的高透过性复合反渗透膜及使用它的反渗透膜组件。
复合反渗透膜适用于超纯水的制备,海水或成水脱盐等,另外用于从染色排水和电沉积涂料排水等造成公害原因的污物中除去并回收其中包含的污染源或有效物质,进而在排水的封闭处理等当中使用。另外,也可用于食品用途等有效成分的浓缩等和用于除去净水和下水用途的有害成分等的处理。
以前,作为与非对称反渗透膜结构不同的反渗透膜,已知有在微多孔性支持体上形成具有实质上选择分离性的活性皮层的复合反渗透膜。作为现在的这样的复合反渗透膜,已知有在支持体上形成由多官能芳香族胺和多官能芳香族酰卤化物的界面聚合得到的聚酰胺组成的皮层(例如特开昭55-147106号公报,特开昭62-121603号公报,特开昭63-218208号公报、特公平6-73617号公报)。上述的复合反渗透膜,虽然有高的脱盐性能及水透过性,但从降低操作成本和设备成本及提高效率等方面看,更希望维持高脱盐性不变而提高水透过性。对于这些要求,提出各种添加剂等的提案(例如特开昭63-12310号公报),虽然改善了性能,但还不充分。另外,还提出了复合反渗透膜用氯进行后处理等的提案(例如特开昭63-54905号公报、特开平1-180208号公报)。
但是,上述的现有技术,都是利用一种聚合物的陈化反应提高水的透过性,虽然根据膜电荷性可除去NaCl等离子性物质,但是由于经陈化反应,聚合差异所切断的分子量的缺陷,因此电荷性弱的,或者没有电荷性的无机物、有机物等透过膜,产生了阻止率降低的问题。例如,在超纯水制备中,作为阻止率的大致标准的异丙醇的阻止率,在上述的后处理方法的陈化反应中大大降低,不能使用。另外,关于成为最近问题的饮水中的有机性有害物质,也看到与上述相同的倾向,具有得不到所要求的水质等问题。
本发明为了解决现有技术存在的问题,以提供维持高的盐阻止率,兼具有高的水透过性能的复合反渗透膜为目的。本发明的目的还在于,为了不仅对NaCl等离子性物质。而且对异丙醇等有机物的阻止性能也优良,提供了不仅能除去离子,还能高效率除去有机物,而且能够经济使用的复合反渗透膜及用它的反渗透膜组件。
为了实现上述的目的,本发明的高透过性复合反渗透膜的特征是:在由膜和支持该膜的微多孔性支持体构成的复合反渗透膜中,上述的膜是由有两个以上反应性氨基化合物与有两个以上反应性酰卤基的多官能性酰卤化合物进行缩聚反应得到的聚酰胺系的皮层,在操作压力为490kPa、温度为25℃下,用含500ppm NaCl pH为6.5的水溶液评价时的性能是,盐的阻止率为90%以上,透过通量为0.8m3/m2·日以上,且在操作压力为490kPa,温度为25℃下,用含异丙醇为500ppm的pH为6的水溶液评价时的性能是,对异丙醇的阻止率为60%以上。
上述复合反渗透膜在操作压力为490kPa,温度为25℃下,用含NaCl500ppm pH为6.5的水溶液评价时的性能是盐的阻止率为90%以上,透过通量为0.8m3/m2·日。优选透过通量为1.0m3/m2·日以上。另外,上述的复合反渗透膜在操作压力为490kPa,温度为25℃下,用含500ppm异丙醇pH为6.5的水溶液评价时的性能是异丙醇的阻止率为60%以上。优选为65%以上。
上述的复合反渗透膜的聚酰胺系皮层。优选是芳香族聚酰胺。在脂肪族等聚酰胺情况下,由于比芳香族聚酰胺耐药品性等的化学的耐性差,在长期使用时生成粘泥(以微生物为主体的软泥性污浊物)和水锈等,降低了化学洗净后的性能。优选地是全芳香族聚酰胺。
上述的本发明高透过性复合反渗透膜,是使有两个以上的反应性氨基化合物与有两个以上反应性的酰卤基的多官能性酰卤化合物,在微多孔性支持体上进行缩聚反应时,可通过向含有选自上述具有氨基的化合物及多官能性酰卤化合物的至少一种化合物的溶液中,添加溶解度是8-14(cal/cm3)1/2的醇类、醚类等来制造。
根据上述本发明的构成,可实现维持高的盐阻止率、具有高的水透过性能,对异丙醇等有机物的阻止性能也优良、不仅只除去离子,也高效率地除去有机物且可经济使用的复合反渗透膜。
此外,在上述本发明的构成中,对反应溶液,溶解度是8-14(Cal/cm3)1/2的化合物的添加范围优选为10ppm-50(wt)%。
本发明的反渗透膜组件是组装上述的本发明反渗透膜的反渗透膜组件。作为上述的膜组件,优选选自螺旋型膜组件、浸渍平膜型膜组件,旋转平膜型膜组件、和板框型膜组件中的至少一种。上述的浸渍平膜型膜组件,公开在特开昭61-129094号公报等中。
本发明的高透过性反渗透膜,只要是得到满足上述性能的复合反渗透膜的制备方法,就没有特别地限定。
例如,本发明的高透过性复合反渗透膜是在有两个以上反应性氨基化合物与有两个以上反应性酰卤基的多官能酰卤化合物进行界面缩聚时,可通过在溶解度为8-14(Cal/cm3)1/2的化合物,例如醇类、醚类、酮类、醌类、卤代烃类及含硫化合物类等选择的至少一种的化合物存在下制备。
作为这种醇类,例如可举出乙醇、丙醇、丁醇、1-戊醇、2-戊醇、叔-戊醇、异戊醇、异丁醇、异丙醇、十一烷醇、2-乙基丁醇、2-乙基己醇、辛醇、环己醇、四氢糠醇、季戊四醇、叔丁醇、苄醇、4-甲基-2-戊醇、3-甲基-2-丁醇、烯丙基醇、乙二醇、二甘醇、三甘醇、四甘醇等。
另外,作为醚类,例如可举出苯甲醚、乙基异戊基醚、乙基-叔-丁基醚、乙基苄基醚、冠醚、甲酚甲基醚、二异戊基醚、二异丙基醚、二乙基醚、二恶烷、二缩水甘油基醚、桉树脑、二苯基醚、二丁基醚、二丙基醚、二苄基醚、二甲基醚、四氢吡喃、四氢呋喃、三噁烷、二氯乙基醚、丁基苯基醚、呋喃、甲基-叔-丁基醚、单二氯二甲基醚、乙二醇二甲基醚、乙二醇二乙基醚、乙二醇二丁基醚、乙二醇单甲基醚、乙二醇单乙基醚、乙二醇单丁基醚、二甘醇二甲基醚、二甘醇二乙基醚、二甘醇二丁基醚、二甘醇单甲基醚、二甘醇单乙基醚、二甘醇单丁基醚、二亚乙基氯乙醇(diethylene chloro-bydrin)等。

另外,作为卤代烃类,例如可举出烯丙基氯化物,氯代戊烷、二氯甲烷、二氯乙烷等。
另外,作为含硫化合物,例如可以举出二甲基亚砜、环丁砜、硫烷等。特别优选使用上述的醇类、醚类。这些化合物可单独或多个存在。
在本发明所使用的有两个以上的反应性氨基的化合物中,只要是多官能胺就没有特别的限制,可以举出芳香族、脂肪族或脂环式的多官能按。
作为这种芳香族多官能胺,例如可举出间苯二胺、对苯二胺、1,3,5-三氨基、1,2,4-三氨基苯、3,5-二氨基苯甲酸、2,4-二氨基甲苯、2、4-二氨基苯甲醚、阿米酚、二甲苯二胺等。
另外,作为脂肪族多官能胺,例如可举出乙二胺、丙二胺、三(2-氨基乙基)胺等。
另外,作为脂环式多官能胺,例如可举出1,3-二氨基环己烷、1,2-二氨基环己烷、1,4-二氨基环己烷、哌嗪、2,5-二甲基哌嗪、4-氨基甲基哌嗪等。这些胺可单独使用,也可作为混合物使用。优选使用芳香族胺。
在本发明中所使用的有两个以上反应性酰卤基的多官能性酰卤化合物没有特别限制,例如可举出芳香族、脂肪族、或脂环式的多官能性酰卤化合物。
作为可在本发明中所使用的芳香族多官能性酰卤化合物,例如可举出均苯三酸酰氯、对苯二酸酰氯、间苯二酸酰氯、联苯二羧酸酰氯、苯三羧酸酰氯、苯二羧酸酰氯、磺酰氯苯羧酸酰氯、苯二羧酸酰氯等。
另外,作为脂肪族多官能性酰卤化合物,例如可举出丙三羧酸酰氯、丁烷三羧酸酰氯、戊三羧酸酰氯、戊酰氯、己二酰氯等。
另外,作为脂环式多官能性酰卤化合物,可举出环丙烷三羧酸酰氯、环丁烷四羧酸酰氯,环戊烷三羧酸酰氯、环戊烷四羧酸酰氯、环己烷三羧酸酰氯、四氢呋喃四羧酸酰氯、环戊烷二羧酸酰氯、环丁烷二羧酸酰氯、环己烷二羧酸酰氯、四氢呋喃二羧酸酰氯等。这些酰卤化合物可单独使用,也可作为混合物使用。优选芳香族多官能性酰氯化物。
在本发明中,通过使上述的有两个以上反应性氨基的化合物与上述的有两个以上反应性酰卤基的多官能性酰卤化合物进行表面缩聚,可得到在微多孔性支持体上形成以交联的聚酰胺作为主要成分的皮层的复合反渗透膜。
在本发明中,支持上述皮层的微多孔性支持体,只要是可支持皮层的物质就没有特别地限制,例如可举出聚砜、聚醚砜类的聚烯丙基醚砜、聚亚胺、聚偏氟乙烯等各种物质,但是,特别是从化学、机械、热稳定性上看,优选使用由聚砜、聚烯丙基醚砜构成的微多孔性支持体。这种微多孔性支持体,通常具有约25-125μm、优选约40-75μm厚度,但不一定要限制在这一范围。
更详细地说,可通过在微多孔性支持体上,形成由含具有上述两个以上反应性氨基的化合物的水溶液构成的的第一层,接着在上述的第一层上形成由含有上述酰卤化合物的溶液构成的层,进行表面聚合,在微多孔性支持体上形成由交联的聚酰胺组成的皮层来得到。
含有两个以上反应性氨基的化合物的水溶液,为了容易制成膜,或提高得到的复合反渗透膜的性能,可再含有例如聚乙烯醇、聚乙烯吡咯烷酮、聚丙烯酸等的水溶性的聚合物和山梨糖醇、甘油等的多元醇。
另外,由容易制膜,提高胺溶液对支持膜上的吸收性,促进缩合反应看,特开平2-187135号公报所述的胺盐,例如氯化四烷基胺和三烷基胺与有机酸的盐等也是适宜使用的。
另外,也可含有十二烷基苯磺酸钠、十二烷基硫酸钠、月桂基硫酸钠等的表面活性剂。这些表面活性剂,有改善含有多官能胺水溶液对微多孔性支持体的润湿性的效果。进而为促进在表面上的缩聚反应,使用除去在表面反应中生成的卤化氢得到的氢氧化钠和磷酸三钠,或作为催化剂使用酰化催化剂也是有益的。
含有上述酰卤化物的溶液及含有上述两个以上反应性的氨基的化合物的水溶液,酰卤化物及多官能胺的浓度不作特别限定,酰卤化物通常为0.01-5(wt)%,优选为0.05-1(wt)%,多官能胺通常为0.01-10(wt)%,优选为0.5-5(wt)%。

实施例
举出以下的实施例说明本发明,而不是用这些实施例对本发明进行任何限定。
作为微多孔性支持体,使用聚砜系超滤膜。
实施例1
使含有间苯二胺3.0(wt)%、月桂基硫酸钠0.15(wt)%、三乙胺3.0(wt)%、樟脑磺酸6.0(wt)%异丙醇9(wt)%的水溶液,与多孔性聚砜支持膜接触数秒,除去多余的溶液,在支持膜上形成上述溶液层。
接着,在这种支持膜的表面上,接触含均苯三酸酰氯0.15(wt)%、异丙醇0.06(wt)%的IP106(出光化学(株)制异烯烃系烃油)溶液,此后在120℃热风干燥机中保持3分钟,在支持膜上形成聚合体薄膜,得到复合反渗透膜。得到的复合反渗透膜的性能,在490kPa压力下,评价含500ppm的NaCl pH为6.5的食盐水时,由透过液电导度测出盐的阻止率为95%,透过通量为1.1m3/m2·日。另外,在490kPa压力下,评价含500ppm异丙醇的pH为6.5的溶液时,由气相色谱法分析异丙醇的阻止率为65%。
比较例1
除了在实施例1中,在胺水溶液、酰氯有机溶液中不添加异丙醇外,其它与实施例1相同,得到复合反渗透膜。得到的复合反渗透膜的性能,在490kPa的压力下,评价含50ppm NaCl的pH为6.5的食盐水时,盐的阻止率为99%,透过通量为0.4m3/m2·日,透过通量低,没实用价值。而在490kPa的压力下,评价含50ppm异丙醇的pH为6.5的溶液时,异丙醇的阻止率为90%。用这种膜在将游离氯的浓度调整为100ppm的次氯酸钠水溶液中,在室温下浸渍100小时,水洗后在490kPa压力下,评价500ppmNaCl的pH为6.5的食盐水时,盐阻止率为93%,透过通量为0.9m3/m2·日,而在490kPa压力下,评价含500ppm异丙醇的pH为6.5的溶液时,异丙醇的阻止率为50%,不是实用的阻止率。
根据这样的用氯的增加透过通量的后处理法,增加了透过通量,即使满足了本发明NaCl阻止率的条件,但异丙醇的阻止率激剧降低,可认为不适宜实际应用。
发明效果
通过以上的说明,只要按照本发明,就可提供维持高的盐阻止率、有高的水透过性能,对异丙醇等有机物的阻止性能也优良的不仅只除去离子,也高效率除去有机物的可经济的使用的复合反渗透膜及使用它的反渗透膜组件。
Claims (12)
1、高透过性复合反渗透膜,它是由薄膜和支持该薄膜的微多孔性支持体组成的复合反渗透膜,其特征是,上述薄膜是使有两个以上反应性氨基的化合物与有两个以上反应性酰卤基的多官能性酰卤化合物进行缩聚反应得到的聚酰胺系皮层,在操作压力为490kPa、温度为25℃,用含500ppmNaCl的pH6.5的水溶液评价时,盐的阻止率为90%以上,透过通量为0.8m3/m2·日以上,且在操作压力为490kPa,温度为25℃下,用含500ppm异丙醇的pH为6.5的水溶液评价时,异丙醇的阻止率为60%以上。
2、按权利要求1的高透过性复合反渗透膜,其特征是,所述聚酰胺系皮层是芳香族聚酰胺。
3、按权利要求1的高透过性复合反渗透膜,其特征是,所述聚酰胺皮层是全芳香族聚酰胺。
4、按权利要求1的高透过性复合反渗透膜,其特征是,在操作压力为490kPa,温度为25℃下,用含500ppm NaCl pH为6.5的水溶液评价时,透过通量为1.0m3/m2·日以上。
5、按权利要求1的高透过性复合反渗透膜,其特征是,在压力为490kPa,温度为25℃下,用含500ppm异丙醇的pH为6.5的水溶液评价时,异丙醇的阻止率为65%以上。
6、按权利要求1的高透过性复合反渗透膜,其特征是,所述聚酰胺系皮层,是在微多孔性支持体上,使有两个以上反应性氨基的化合物与有两个以上反应性酰卤基的多官能性酰卤化合物进行缩聚反应时,使含有选自有上述氨基的化合物及多官能性酰卤化合物中的至少一种化合物的反应溶液中,存在溶解度为8-14(cal/cm3)1/2的化合物。
7、按权利要求6的高透过性复合反渗透膜,其特征是,所述复合反渗透膜是通过添加溶解度为8-14(cal/cm3)1/2的,选自醇类及醚类中的至少一种化合物而制备的。
8、按权利要求7的高透过性复合反渗透膜,其特征是,所述醇类选自乙醇、丙醇、丁醇、1-戊醇、2-戊醇、叔-戊醇、异戊醇、异丁醇、异丙醇、十一烷醇、2-乙基丁醇、2-乙基己醇、辛醇、环己醇、四氢糠醇、季戊四醇、叔丁醇、苄醇、4-甲基-2-戊醇、3-甲基-2-丁醇、烯丙基醇、乙二醇、二甘醇、三甘醇、及四甘醇中的至少一种。
9、按权利要求7的高透过性复合反渗透膜,其特征是,所述醚类选自苯甲醚、乙基异戊基醚、乙基-叔丁基醚、乙基苄基醚、冠醚、甲酚甲基醚、二异戊基醚、二异丙基醚、二乙基醚、二恶烷、二缩水甘油醚、桉树脑、二苯基醚、二丁基醚、二丙基醚、二苄基醚、二甲基醚、四氢呋喃、四氢吡喃、三恶烷、二氯乙基醚、丁基苯基醚、呋喃、甲基-叔丁基醚、单二氯二甲基醚、乙二醇二甲醚、乙二醇二乙基醚、乙二醇二丁基醚、乙二醇单甲基醚、乙二醇单乙基醚、乙二醇单丁基醚、二甘醇二甲基醚、二甘醇二乙基醚、二甘醇二丁基醚、二甘醇单甲基醚、二甘醇单乙基醚、二甘醇单丁基醚、及二亚乙基氯乙醇中的至少一种。
10、按权利要求6的高透过性复合反渗透膜,其特征是,对反应溶液,添加10ppm-50重量%的溶解度为8-14(cal/cm3)1/2的化合物。
11、一种反渗透膜组件,它是由权利要求1的反渗透膜组装成的。
12、按权利要求11的反渗透膜组件,其特征是,所述膜组件选自螺旋型膜组件、浸渍平膜型膜组件,旋转平膜型膜组件或板框型膜组件中的至少一种。
