技术领域

背景技术

具体实施方式

直立电缆的末端可以光学连接到一个或多个引入电缆的末端。在任何情况下,系绳电缆和/或直立电缆都可以端接在光纤连接器中,并且可以通过合适的光纤适配器而光学连接到端接在光纤连接器中的引入电缆。所述光纤适配器可以是向多芯光纤连接器互连提供多芯光纤连接器的适配器,例如,MTP适配器,或其他类型的多芯光纤适配器。作为补充或替代,所述光纤适配器可以是向单芯光纤连接器互连提供单芯光纤连接器的适配器,例如,SC适配器,或其他类型的单芯光纤适配器。光纤适配器可以具有双快门,在适配器的每端各有一个。所述快门适于在光纤连接器未插入到适配器的一端时,自动地关闭适配器的该端。这样,这些快门可以密封适配器以隔绝环境,从而在不使用时保护适配器并使之保持清洁。所述适配器可以上下按动,以与连接器的极性保持协调。这些适配器可以安装在以可移除方式安装在网络接入点中的匣或模块中。或者,适配器可以以可移除方式安装在面板上,所述面板可以以可移除方式安装在网络接入点中。

图7为具有多个预连接的直立电缆14(1)、14(2)、14(3)的示例性预连接的直立电缆安装组件56的立体示意图,所述多个预连接的直立电缆通过在引线58的预设位置附接有延伸特征60的引线58而从位于低层22的各自牵出线轴18(1)、18(2)、18(3)延伸出去,所述预设位置沿着引线58长度相隔距离“Y”。所述延伸特征60可以是任何类型的环、钩、旋转接头等,所述环、钩、旋转接头等经配置以附接到第二多芯光纤连接器32(1)、32(2)、32(3)或附接到某一类型的牵引装置,所述牵引装置附接到第二多芯光纤连接器32(1)、32(2)、32(3),从而使直立电缆14(1)、14(2)、14(3)安全有效地牵出。

再次参考图7,距离“Y”预设为某一值,该值取决于相邻分配层24、26、28之间的距离。例如,距离“Y”可以设置为10英尺、12英尺、14英尺、15英尺等。这样,随着引线58牵引穿过MDU10,直立电缆14(1)、14(2)、14(3)各自牵出到一个点,该点大体与MDU10中的各个分配层24、26、28对准。由于预设了距离“Y”或其他情况的原因,任何直立电缆14的散堆都可以存储在各自牵出线轴18(1)、18(2)、18(3)上和/或松散地存储在接插板外壳20和/或散堆外壳(图7中未图示)中。此外,散堆可以松散地存储在牵出线轴18(1)、18(2)、18(3)和/或分配层24、26、28中的一层或多层处的FDT29上。各个第二多芯光纤连接器32(1)、32(2)、32(3)随后可以连接到以可移除方式安装在位于各个分配层24、26、28处的FDT29中的各自多芯光纤适配器组件34。此外,附接到各自直立电缆14(1)、14(2)、14(3)的第一多芯光纤连接器30(1)、30(2)、30(3)可以连接到以可移除方式安装在接插板外壳20中的各自多芯光纤适配器组件34。

LCP40提供较小的形状因子,同时允许高密度的光纤连接以将光服务分配给MDU10。此外,LCP40为馈电电缆和分配电缆以及多个分裂器提供各种选择,所述多个分裂器包括但不限于至少五个1×32的分裂器。LCP40也可以用作分界点,以向输出连接提供1×1输入。

外壳;
以可移除方式安装在所述外壳中的光纤适配器,其中所述光纤适配器经配置以收纳直立电缆的一根或多根光纤,从而从服务供应商向订户驻地提供光通信服务;以及
以可移除方式安装在所述外壳内的牵出线轴,其中所述牵出线轴对牵到MDU中一个或多个分配层中至少一层处的所述直立电缆的散堆进行存储。
2.根据权利要求1所述的转变盒,其中所述光纤适配器为多芯光纤适配器,所述多芯光纤适配器经配置以收纳连接到所述直立电缆的第一端的第一多芯光纤连接器。
3.根据权利要求1所述的转变盒,其中所述光纤适配器为多芯光纤适配器,所述多芯光纤适配器经配置以收纳连接到所述直立电缆的第二端的第二多芯光纤连接器。

16.一种用于多分配单元(MDU)的光纤网络中的转变盒,所述转变盒包括:
外壳;
以可移除方式安装在所述外壳中的模块;
以可枢转方式安装在所述模块中的光纤适配器组件,其中所述光纤适配器组件包括至少一个多芯光纤适配器以及至少一个单芯光纤适配器,并且其中直立电缆光学连接在所述光纤适配器组件处以向订户驻地提供光通信服务;以及
以可移除方式安装在所述外壳内的牵出线轴,其中所述牵出线轴对牵出而延伸到所述MDU中一个或多个分配层中至少一层处的所述直立电缆的散堆进行存储。

21.根据权利要求20所述的转变盒,其中所述引入电缆中至少一根光纤从所述引入电缆分离出来并且延伸到所述订户驻地。
22.根据权利要求16所述的转变盒,其中所述多芯光纤适配器在第一端收纳连接到所述直立电缆一端的多芯光纤连接器,并且在第二端收纳连接到电缆线束的多芯光纤连接器。
23.根据权利要求22所述的转变盒,其中所述电缆线束中的光纤发生分叉,并且其中所述光纤中的至少一根光纤的末端具有单芯光纤连接器。
24.根据权利要求23所述的转变盒,其中所述单芯光纤适配器中一者在第一端收纳所述电缆线束中的所述光纤中的所述单芯光纤连接器,并且在第二末端收纳引入电缆的所述末端处的单芯光纤连接器。
25.根据权利要求24所述的转变盒,其中所述引入电缆延伸到订户驻地。
