Abstract

频域技术(frequency domain techniques)可以有助于在一定频率范围内测量和估计连接器系统的信号损失和串扰特性。在频域中观测串扰显示了在关注的各个频率上的串扰能量的测量,例如数据速率和重要谐波。可以理解,在频域串扰中的尖峰信号(spike)是不合要求的,因为尖峰信号可能会指示在特定频率下的接地点(ground)之间的寄生(spurious)电压。

插孔连接器402中的触头可以具有可变形状和尺寸。图4A和4B表示用于触头414、410和416的每个匹配部分的不同触头形状。如图所示,匹配部分可以包括一个或多个尖叉。例如,匹配部分可以是双梁式插孔触头接口(例如触头410的匹配部分),其适于接合着来自插头连接器的相应刀片形触头。如在此所述,接地触头416的形状以如下方式进行设计:即当插孔连接器404与插头连接器匹配时,所述触头可以被形成为具有多个插头触头110。因而,当插孔连接器402与插头连接器匹配时,在起始于接地触头416的方向411上沿接地触头的线性阵列形成了连续接地。图4A表示具有接地触头416形状的接地触头的多个线性阵列。因而,可以沿方向411形成多个连续接地。沿方向411在线性阵列中的每个接地触头404被封装在相应IMLA中。因而,沿方向411在横跨多个IMLA 408的接地触头404之间形成连续接地。触头404并不局限于在此所述的用于形成连续接地的尺寸和形状。例如,插孔触头416可以具有适合的任何形状,用于沿互补接地触头的线性阵列而形成接地。
图5A表示插孔连接器502,其对应于图4A所示插孔连接器402,同时连接器壳体503保持完整。如参照图4A所述,在IMLA 408中边缘对边缘进行定位的电触头404的阵列被布置在每个孔504中。在连接器壳体503中形成多个闩锁机构506,其适于与形成在互补连接器(例如图5B中所示的插头连接器508)的壳体中的互补闩锁机构进行闩锁。
图5B表示可以与图5A所示的插孔连接器502匹配的插头连接器508。插头连接器508可以包括连接器壳体510和贯穿其中的电触头512。电触头512可以布置成线性阵列,并且每个触头512可以具有限定了两个相反边缘和两个相反宽边的横截面。
电触头512可以包括尺寸和结构可变的信号触头和接地触头。例如,沿在第一或第二方向上延伸的每个阵列,触头可以处于信号-接地-信号结构、接地-信号-接地-信号结构、或者接地-信号-信号结构。作为与插孔连接器502互补的连接器,在插头连接器508中的触头被布置处于接地-信号-接地-信号结构,并在第二方向延伸的阵列中被定位成边缘对边缘以及在第一方向延伸的阵列中被定位成宽边对宽边。例如,在插头连接器508中的触头第一阵列中,从右到左是接地触头514、信号触头516、接地触头518、信号触头520,等等。
插头连接器508中的每个触头512可以具有形状和尺寸可变的相应匹配部分。例如,接地触头(诸如示意性的触头514)被示出具有比信号触头(诸如示意性的信号触头516)的宽边更窄的宽边。每个电触头512的匹配端部是刀片形的,并可以适于与插孔连接器502的相应电触头匹配。
插头连接器508可以与插孔连接器502匹配,直至插头连接器508的连接器壳体510抵靠着插孔连接器502的连接器壳体503。被布置在插孔连接器502的每个孔504中的触头匹配部分可以与插头连接器508的触头匹配部分匹配。如在此所述,插孔连接器502中的接地触头形状被设计成当连接器502、508匹配时使第二连接器中的接地触头512的线性阵列桥接在一起。因而,通过来自相应连接器502、508的接地触头404、512的匹配使得在连接器502、508之间形成接地。所述桥接往往沿接地触头的线性阵列(例如在第一方向上延伸并起始于触头518的插头触头阵列)形成连续的接地,由此形成更稳健的接地。
图6是表示当插孔触头被插入多于一个插头触头之间时产生的插入力的曲线图。在插孔触头124插入在两个相邻插头触头110之间时,插孔触头218的第一部分可以与第一插头触头110形成初始接触。当插孔触头进一步插入时,第一部分216可以与相邻的第二插头触头110形成接触。插孔触头124的弹性匹配部分132可以弯曲以适应插孔触头124插入在插头触头110之间,其中插孔触头124的宽度大于插头触头110之间的距离。
所述力可以使插孔触头124伸长,并且例如在接触点306、308处产生与每个插孔/插头触头匹配表面相正交的法向力。所施加的力可以使插孔触头124的匹配部分132保留在相邻插头触头110之间。因而,可以形成和维持着触头110、124以及触头110、122之间的良好电连接。如图所示,插入越深,产生的力越大。力的增大相对应于插孔触头在插孔触头124的第一部分216与第二插头触头110形成接触的点处的插入长度。
Claims (15)
1.一种第一连接器,其用于和互补第二连接器相接合,第二连接器包括相互间隔开的第一刀片形接地触头和第二刀片形接地触头,所述第一连接器包括:
连接器壳体;以及
第三接地触头,其适于与第一接地触头的仅一个第一宽边形成第一点接触,并且与第二接地触头的仅一个第二宽边形成第二点接触。
2.如权利要求1所述的第一连接器,其特征在于,所述第三接地触头具有第一弯曲部分和第二弯曲部分,其中第一弯曲部分适于与第一接地触头形成所述第一点接触,并且第二弯曲部分适于与第二接地触头形成所述第二点接触。
3.如权利要求1所述的第一连接器,其特征在于,还包括沿第一方向布置的多个第三接地触头以及包括多个差分信号对,其中所述多个第三接地触头与多个第一和第二接地触头相组合产生连续的接地,所述连续的接地降低了在操作频率下的串扰。
4.如权利要求2所述的第一连接器,其特征在于,第二弯曲部分相比较于第一弯曲部分具有更大的曲率半径。
5.如权利要求1所述的第一连接器,其特征在于,第三接地触头使第一接地触头和第二接地触头互连。
6.如权利要求1所述的第一连接器,其特征在于,第三接地触头在第一接地触头与第二接地触头之间形成连续的接地。
7.如权利要求1所述的第一连接器,其特征在于,第三接地触头具有弹性部分,其适于在第一连接器和第二连接器的匹配过程中在第一接地触头和第二接地触头中的每一个上施加相应法向力。
8.一种电连接器系统,包括:
第一电连接器,其具有沿第二方向布置的第一接地触头的第一阵列;
第二电连接器,其具有沿所述第二方向布置的第二接地触头的第二阵列,
其中,第二接地触头以如下方式与第一接地触头接合,即沿第二方向横跨第一接地触头和第二接地触头地形成连续接地。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器系统,其特征在于,第二接地触头的第二阵列包括至少一个第二接地触头,其形状被设计成与相邻第二接地触头形成接触,由此形成连续的接地。
10.如权利要求8所述的电连接器系统,其特征在于,第一接地触头相对于彼此沿所述第二方向被布置成宽边对宽边,并且第二接地触头相对于彼此沿所述第二方向被布置成宽边对宽边。
11.如权利要求8所述的电连接器系统,其特征在于,所述电连接器系统还包括电触头的第三阵列,其沿着垂直于第二方向的第一方向进行布置。
12.如权利要求11所述的电连接器系统,其特征在于,第三阵列中的电触头沿第一方向被布置成边缘对边缘。
13.如权利要求11所述的电连接器系统,其特征在于,第一接地触头中的每一个被封装在相应引线框架组件中,并且横跨多个引线框架组件形成连续的接地。
14.一种第一连接器,其用于和互补第二连接器相接合,第二连接器包括彼此相邻定位的第一接地触头和第二接地触头,所述第一连接器包括:
连接器壳体;以及
第三接地触头,其适于在第一接地触头与第二接地触头之间形成连续接地。
15.如权利要求14所述的第一连接器,其特征在于,第三接地触头使第一接地触头和第二接地触头相互连。
