Abstract
"PROCESSO DE POLIMERIZAçãO PARA PRODUZIR ELASTÈMERO DE POLIOLEFINA, COCATALISADOR GERADOR DE CáTION PARA ATIVAR UM PROCATALISADOR DE METALOCENO, ELASTÈMERO DE POLIOLEFINA POSSUINDO UMA COMBINAçãO úNICA DE PROPRIEDADES E PRODUTOS FABRICADOS A PARTIR DO MESMO". Um elastómero de poliolefina possuindo uma combinação única de propriedades, isto é, peso molecular elevado ( M~ w~ ), elevada viscosidade Mooney ( ML~ 1+4~ a 125<198>C ), baixo índice de polidispersão ( M~ w~/M~ n~ ), baixa temperatura de transição vítrea ( T~ g~ ) e baixa histérese ( tan <sym> ), é obtido por um processo de polimerização empregando um tipo específico de catalisador de metaloceno. O elastómero de poliolefina é útil para fabricar uma variedade de produtos incluindo artigos de borracha como mangueiras, correias e moldagens, misturas de polímero contendo um ou mais outros polímeros de hidrocarboneto e óleos lubrificantes nos quais o elastómero funciona como um modificador de viscosidade. Também é revelado um cocatalisador gerador de cátion para ativar um procatalisador de metaloceno, preferivelmente na presença de monómero de olefina.
