Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO MIMO-OFDM". São providas técnicas para programar terminais para transmissão de dados através do downlink e/ou uplink em um sistema MIMO-OFDM com base nas 'assinaturas' espaciais e/ou de freqüência dos terminais. Um programador forma um ou mais conjuntos de terminais para possível transmissão de dados (pelo downlink ou uplink) para cada uma dentre várias bandas de freqüências. Uma ou mais sub-hipóteses podem ser também formadas para cada hipótese, com cada sub-hipótese correspondendo a (1) designações específicas de antenas transmissoras para os terminais na hipótese (para os downlinks), ou (2) uma ordem específica para processamento das transmissões de dados do uplink a partir dos terminais (para o uplink). O desempenho de cada sub-hipótese é a seguir avaliado (por exemplo, com base em uma ou mais medidas de desempenho).
