Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA A SELEçãO DE ANTENA UTILIZANDO INFORMAçõES DE RESPOSTA DE CANAL EM UM SISTEMA DE MúLTIPLAS PORTADORAS". As presentes modalidades referem-se a uma técnica (116) para a seleção de uma dentre diversas antenas ou canais em um receptor com base na qualidade da resposta de canal em cada uma das antenas em um sistema de múltiplas portadoras que emprega uma codificação de correção antecipada de erros convolucional. As estimativas de canal são computadas (120) para cada sub-portadora e os pesos monotónicos são atribuídos (122) a cada sub-portadora com base na intensidade relativa da resposta de canal para aquela sub-portadora. Os pesos monotónicos sao mapeados (124) em cada bit em um símbolo para cada sub-portadora e os bits são desintercalados (126), se necessário. Uma avaliação de janela deslizante é feita (128) no sentido de determinar uma métrica de qualidade de canal (CQM) geral para cada canal. A antena ou canal tendo a métrica CQM geral mais elevada é selecionada (132) para receber os dados.
