Abstract
"EMPLASTRO DE IMUNIZAçãO DE DISPOSIçãO DE MICROPROJEçãO E MéTODO". Emplastros de pele (20) possuindo uma disposição de microprojeção (10), um reservatório (18) incluindo um agente antigênico e um adjuvante de aumento de resposta imune, e métodos de uso do mesmo para vacinar animais (por exemplo, seres humanos) é descrito. Em uma concretização preferida, as disposições de microprojeção (10) são compostas por uma folha de titânio microperfurada e fotogravada (14). As microprojeções (12) são cobertas com uma formulação líquida contendo um antígeno vacina e um adjuvante, como dipeptídeo glucosaminil muramila seco, e aplicado à pele do animal para ser vacinado, usando um aplicador de impacto. As microprojeções (12) criam caminhos superficiais através do estrato córneo, para facilitar a permeação do agente antígeno e adjuvante. A dose de antígeno e a profundidade de penetração podem ser controladas.
