Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE FIBRAS CORTADAS DE TEREFTALATO DE POLITRIMETILENO, FIBRA CORTADA DE TEREFTALATO DE POLITRIMETILENO, FIO TêXTIL, TECIDO TêXTIL OU NãO TECIDO E PROCESSO DE PREPARAçãO DE UMA FIBRA CORTADA DE TEREFTALATO DE POLITRIMETILENO". A presente invenção se refere a um processo para a produção de fibras cortadas de tereftalato de politrimetileno, o qual compreende (a) o emprego de tereftalato de politrimetileno, (b) a fiação em fusão do tereftalato de politrimetileno fundido a uma temperatura de 245<198>C-285<198>C, como filamentos, (c) o resfriamento brusco dos filamentos, (d) o estiramento dos filamentos resfriados bruscamente, (e) o enrugamento dos filamentos estirados mediante a utilização de um aparelho para enrugar mecânico a um nìvel de enrugamento de oito a trinta dobras por polegada, (f) o relaxamento dos filamentos enrugados a uma temperatura de 50<198>C-120<198>C, e (g) o corte dos filamentos relaxados como fibras cortadas que têm um comprimento de aproximadamente 0,2 a 6 polegadas ( aproximadamente 0,5 a aproximadamente 15 cm ), e fibras cortadas, fios e tecidos de tereftalato de politrimetileno. Além disso, a presente invenção se refere a um processo de otimização da compensação de enrugamento de uma fibra cortada de tereftalato de politrimetileno que compreende a determinação da relação entre o denier e a compensação de enrugamento e a fabricação de fibras cortadas que têm um denier selecionado baseado nessa determinação.
